Yeah, therm disps are cool. I got one of those and I use it as my room temperature monitor, becuase I've found that my computer changes temperature with the room perfectly, which is good, that means the fans and all are working, but it's bad considering it's been 95+ for the past few days, i can't wait to get back to freezing indiana where my computer will run at -100 degrees, or maybe more like 5 And yes, Celcius is just better, kinda like RE is just better. Okay, that's it. (edited by The Guru of Furu on 07-02-05 07:47 PM) |

I like the programmers ending in CT, cause it's great fun and unique. The ending to RE is really funny, cause, well, Leon says No which I was really hoping he wouldn't cause I'd love to see how that would've gone. FFT had a pretty sweet ending too. Also, EB is awesome, everything about it is great, BOING.

Well, it's not much different than room temperature I'd say at most one or two degrees. It jumps up when I run big programs/lots of programs, like UT2k4 or MatLab and stuff like that. I think it stays pretty cool because I've got four fans and and pretty good heatsink (which is not good for noise control).

iD, because, well, Dropping a ship on him is cheating. Probably the most bad ass character ever, then there's Solid Snake, Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield. And for the old sixteen bit favorite, sonic, cause sonic was cool and hip when mario was just a fat italian plumber. Chili Cheese Dogs for life.

maybe you don't have good air control in your computer, or maybe it's because my computer and my room are both at, let's say, on average, 95 degrees in the day, 85 degrees at night. I guess living in warm weather makes it easier for things that are warm to be concidered room temperature. Thank God there's no humidity where I'm at now. Right now my computer is running at 28 (82.4) and my theremometer says that it's 80 in the shade and right outside where my therm is feels exactly like the downstairs of my house which is always cooler than my 2nd floor room. I'd say anything from the 16 bit era cause those games were so much fun. I'm not saying new games aren't fun but it's just that my favorite games, the one's I play the most, are all on SNES or Sega. A close second would be gamecube, because well, what other system can I play all my favorite Resident Evil games. Right now I've beaten 4 four about the 5 time (One to beat it, two and three to get one of each of the best weapons, four for all rifles and shotties, and five for only pistols). Then Beat RE with each character, now RE0 then 2 and 3 and finaly CV, I love RE, greatest series ever, perchance.

Back in the day I had to hide my copy of Mortal Kombat from my parents, and I also was wary of playing Xenogears infront of my parents because, well, it's kinda crazy. But nowadays, my parents don't care, cause well, I'm out of their control now. And yes, RE4 is crazy violent, but also an amazing game.

yeah, most websites are wider than a standard page and that's the size that explorer uses to print websites, get mozilla, it'll print the whole thing.

On a bag of charcoal : Burning this indoors will cause death. Emphasis on will, because even cigaretes and stuff only say may cause death. And yes, companies gotta worry. Somebody got 3+mil for suing a company when he went to take a shit in the back of his RV after he put it in cruise control, and whoop de doo, it drove off the road. See, nobody told that guy that the car wouldn't drive itself. |

I assume by that you mean that this isn't RE because it said BH, well, hate to break it to you but games have different names sometimes in Japan, hence why somepeople refer to resident evil as biohazards. And oh boy do i hope they bring back some of the old characters. I'm just recently going through all my RE games, what amazing stuff this is, especially if you really get into all the files (which is why some of my friends question why i think RE has a story, because they skip every file). Though there's not much info, I can't wait for more news to come out. (edited by The Guru of Furu on 07-21-05 12:48 AM) |

Yeah, big mistake on rockstars part, cause it obviously isn't just a tiny tidbit of code that they left in. Also, how can the ESRB be expected to rate game content taht isn't normally accessable to the game. I am afraid that congres and "old people" will flip a shit over this, but really, M and AO are nearly identical in age ranges, i mean, what's the difference between 17+ and 18+, one is a certifiably legal adult and the other is basicaly the same, just not legaly an adult. NE ways, whatever, hopefully it doesn't create too much drama in the industry.

Yeah, i don't get the point of wirless mice and keyboards, considering taking out of the range of cords is taking it too far away to be able to really see the screen that well. I guess less cord clutter could be good, but honestly, if you set up your computer right you only have two or three cords on your desk which doesn't really get in the way of anything. Oh well, there are somethings i just don't understand.

In ACMLM's i think i am: + not well known but maybe recognized by some + a decently inteligent poster who doesn't post all that much response to ACMLM's + it's cool, but i don't know the people here that well goal + to get my news fix on games and some info on hardware/programing stuff ocasionaly At ChronoTriggerNovelProject i think i am: + One of the better known members + One of the few who stuck with it when it was on the brink of death + A supplier of great quotes to the quote game + An intriguing poster on CT information and analysis for the novel My response: + Great board, love everything about it, it is everything XenoHaven was meant to be. My Goals: + To become a more frequent and insightful poster in the novelization threads + To become an admin + To have a bigger part in the creation of the novel |

Uh, i just read that new thing on gamespot, seriously, does he really think that EA is supporting the mod community that takes out the blur. Thank God they didn't make a hack that just straight up put's true porn in the game. I do agree with a lot of you that the violence in GTA earns it an AO rating anyway, but I'm sick and tired of these people who are trying to do what they think is best for the world without really taking a look at the rest of the US community. If you look at some of the TV shows on television, also quite easily accesesable to young kids, you'd be appaled, or at least mildly offended. Basicaly, all thses people attacking games think that video games are one of those things that parents are not responsible for their children. If a parent lets a child buy the SIMS and then lets the child use the internet to put "porn" into it, then taht's just a fucking stupid parent, or a clever kid who probably is watching regular porn anyway. I ahte people who don't think that parents are responsible for their kids, if you can't take it don't have kids.

the only problem that you'll probably have with it is that your harddrive is going to be pretty slow. I went with a 60gb 7600rpm over an 80gb 5200rpm for that very reason, and yours is running at 4200, so be prepared for slow searches and what not, but other than that, it seems pretty good. |
