JCreator LE - well this is what my class used, it's written entirely in C++ I think, so it's faster than the other compilers.
BlueJ - I like the look and feel of this one better, but it's written in Java itself so it's slower, and it's not that good with making applets.

Yeah, I also heard Eclipse was good too, but I haven't tried it yet.

Well yeah, I don't think there was a better choice. It was either use the atomic bomb to wipe out the city, or send in the whole entire army to kill the people in the city. Remember that the people of Japan have the Samurai spirit, all of them would be glad to die for their country anyways, and the Japanese people refused to leave Hiroshima. We would've had to send our soldiers to every single house in that city and kill everyone to stop them, and risk a million or more American deaths. Hiroshima's people were warned about the atomic bomb and told to evacuate their city, but they didn't believe us. Then the U.S. said they would bomb Nagasaki (that is the other city, right?) as well, Japan didn't believe they had a 2nd bomb, even when one of their cities was already wiped out. Well, that was dropped too. Like Silvershield said, they had the choice to leave if they wanted.

BTW, here's an interesting fact...the man who dropped the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima was a man named Tom Ferebee from the same town I'm from (Mocksville) in North Carolina, which has about 1,500 people or so.

There's a racist statement if I ever saw one. People are individuals, they think and act different from each other.

I didn't mean any racism. Please leave me alone.

Posted on 05-21-04 04:22 AM, in Roms > Carts Link
Yeah, I still prefer ROMs over carts. Even though carts are legal and give that good nostalogic feeling, I lost a lot of my old games anyways, or they were stolen...

- You can get any game easily. Those games that would be real rare as a cart you could find almost anywhere on the net.
- Easy to take screenshots and stuff
- All the graphic filters and sound settings
- Japanese games that were never released here can have their ROMs translated. And romhacking is good of course.
- Save states are pretty cool.

Hmm some bad things though are that
- The rom might not be supported fully and work perfectly like the original cart depending on the emulator used
- Later consoles that use the CD medium, you'd either have to buy the CD to play the game or download ISOs that are huge in file size
- And the emulators for the more recent systems require more powerful computers for games to run perfectly

Pretty neat, you should make the tiles in the water have more of a blue tint.

Burger King
Pizza Hut
KFC
Bojangles

I like where I live, right beside where all these restaurants are grouped together in town (BK, McDonalds, Wendy's, Arby's, Pizza Hut, Bojangles, KFC, and this Prime Sirloin place which is like a buffet place, but it's not drive thru) seriously you could just walk from one of em to the other.

Yeah, you showed me this on AIM earlier. It's pretty cool, I don't know much about guns though. I collect swords and stuff, I'm more into medieval weapons. So far I have this big sword, with a metal ram design on the hilt made in Pakistan, two knives, 2 pairs of nunchaku, and one of those black sticks that you can whip out that cops use and stuff. I also had a black leather whip but I lost it, and a black bo which I broke playing around.

Ah, some people have told me that they know how to open like normal combonation locks, like Master brand or something. It involves like listening for a click or something as you are turning it. Never heard of a Dudley lock though.

This is just some info I found on it for others wondering what they are too.

I thought Sabin was pretty cool. His character design isn't very much detailed and interesting, but he has some cool moves, and has to be one of the most badassed FF characters ever. He doesn't use swords, spears, etc., just his fists, or claws. Who else can suplex dinosaurs or pick up houses? He's also like one of only four other characters who doesn't give up hope in the second half of FFVI, if you know what I mean.

Posted on 06-06-04 09:48 AM, in Which (SNES) RPG do you think being best, ignoring technical aspects? Link
Yes, Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI are two of my favorite games. But I also like Tales of Phantasia and Star Ocean. The battle system is cool, and the stories are also pretty good, which also use the time concept like CT does some.
