Interesting take on the subject. I never thought too much about it, but it's absolutely true. Neat...

I like the second one. The first one is a bit sketchy, but I can't imagine myself doing much better. Nice work!

Everything > Tower.

If you don't use the internet, then Best Buy is...well, the best! My friends and I frequent that place all the time, and it's not so taxing on our wallets.

Jarukoth quickly strode into the battlefield, Sharingans flaring. He was visibly quite angered by the loss in the previous round, believing he had the match won.

...As if this wasn't bad enough, they were facing the team to he once believed to be the only serious threat in the tournament: Melvin, JDavis, and Ziff. This time, however, he would not underestimate his opponents again...

As soon as he entered, Jarukoth's eyes lock with that of the deceptively powerful Melvin. Jarukoth says nothing, and just stares Melvin down, ready to pounce on his opponent at a moment's notice...

There are a lot I really like (Most from Naruto), but I'll narrow it down to five...

5: Haruko (FLCL)

4: Ryoko (Tenchi Series)

3: Vegeta (Der...)

2: Morrigan (Darkstalkers OVA)

And number one is...

1: Gaara (Naruto)

Please. You're preaching to the choir...

If you thought it was good before, wait for the Rock Lee / Gaara fight if you haven't seen it yet. If you have, see it again. The Sasuke / Gaara fight isn't bad either. That, and the Neji / Naruto fight is good too

Plus, it's not a Naruto post from me unless I bring up Gaara at least thrice.

((OOC: Wow...all time mega bump... It's no problem either way, I juts thought this thing was LONG dead...))

"Ice Mirror!"

Jarukoth flash freezes the latent water vapor around him, and creates a shield of ice to protect him from the pointy onslaught. The numerous shuriken collide with the mirror, and eventually shatter it, much to the chagrin of Jarukoth. The remaining shuriken and other random shrapnel blaze past him, giving him an assortment of nasty looking scratches and cuts.

"Alright...you wanna play the clone game, fine with me...Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!"

With a burst of smoke, six other clones of Jarukoth emerge, ready to fight. They then begin to charge the Kirbynites, at the risk of a counterattack...

The gun being drawn on his friend was all the invitation Jarukoth needed...His sharingans could see it happening...

He then charged Melvin with all the speed he could muster, and runs up beside Melvin. He deftly unsheathes his sword, and lunges at Melvin with a vicious horizontal sword slash, hoping that he is too distracted by Callean to dodge in time...

Honestly, I choose neither. FFXI just didn't hold my interest long enough, and City of Heroes looks a bit meh.

I am currently saving up to get The Matrix Online. It doesn't look like it takes up TOO much time to be enjoyable, and the ability system looks similar to SWG.

Raw just ended. Not bad, if I do say so myself...

Spoiler:
Highlights:
Matt proposes to Lita. Kane shows up and says the baby is his. *Insert Menacing Laugh Here* Matt has a hissy fit. Lita gets boo hoo. Everyone gets a good dose of camera time.

Then, HHH Vs. Nick (I'm NOT calling him Eugene) Dinsmore. Honestly, I liked this match. They showed off Dinsmore's skills a little more, and showed that he really can wrestle, and well. Of course, he did get cracked by a stray chair shot thanks to Benoit, but I think it's for the best. Dinsmore can't go with a completely untarnished streak, can he?

If I can remember correctly, it was probably Trunxy who first encouraged me to watch DBZ, and it sorta took off from there. I pretty much discovered manga on my own, once I realized how affordable and easy to find it was.

Yes, our ever so l337 otaku was into DBZ at one point, as we all were. Heheh...

The Story Forum is a wonderful magical faraway place where the sun is always shining, the air smells like warm root beer, the towels are oh so fluffy, and saving the world from random moosey doom is a common occurance! Why would you not want to go?

I would go there more often, save the fact that I seem to be a thread killer...

Posted on 06-23-04 02:51 AM, in Who's gonna be pumping your gas? Link
I have actually thought about this once, and I seriously doubt it will happen anytime soon.

In my school, for instance, not everyone wants to be a lawyer, doctor, or the like. A good portion of my classmates are going to go work right after high school, and work for the town, or some other blue collar job. Others are simply forced into the lowest paying jobs, such as gas pumping, just by default (dropping out, etc).

If this does ever happen (which I doubt it will), it will be a LONG way off, as the hierarchy of job training ratios remain reletively stable.
