During the first season, the Power Rangers pwned royally. My friends and I loved everything about it way back when. Then we grew up. Ah, the carefree days of youth...

Perhaps I'm wrong, but it just seems like it's all one big marketing ploy in the years since, and I'm surprized that it's still on the air. Then again, if they bring back the guy who did it back in the day, I can see why new generations are getting hooked again.

Just got back from seeing it. Here's my review:

OH HELL YES! Quite honestly, one of the better zombie flicks I've seen. Think of it like this...

Some Resident Evil looking people + 28 Days later style zombies and camerawork + some Evil Dead worthy gore effects + Tom Savini = Dawn of the Dead Remake.

Quite honestly, the inclusion of Savini wrapped the whole movie up in a neat little package for me. The only real complaint I could come up with was that it kept reminding me of 28 Days Later. It was like they took that movie, set it in America with a bigger budget, and let Tom Savini go hog wild on it.

In addition, some well placed post-apocalyptic zombie humor and a kick ass soundtrack (fans of the band Disturbed will get a kick out of it) makes for a great zombie flick. Even if you are just remotely intrigued by the genre, go see this movie! You won't regret it.

Jarukoth gives Dawn of the Dead 4 1/2 out of 5 boomstick shells.

Call me crazy, but I like when my arm is numb like that. I think it's just a funky feeling. Except of course, when you're up at 3:00 am, and you just want to go back to sleep but your freaking arm is pissing you off...

I don't usually listen to the radio for commercials. I listen to it for the music, and on occasion an entertaining morning show. To me, commercials are just a nesscessary annoyance. Sure, you get the amusing one now and again, but thats about it.

I generally like most of my classes, but my favorites would have to be Writing, English, and History. History is really good this year, since we have a really smart teacher who actually seems like he knows what he's talking about. I have always liked English, especially this year, since my teacher is hilarious. As for Writing, I like to write, and it doesn't hurt that my teacher is a total babe. Hellyes.

The only class I don't like is math. I'm just not good at it. It's too bad, since I like the guy teaching it. It's not his fault that he teaches the worst subject ever...

Edit: I take that back. It could be worse. He could be teaching "Do-it-Yourself Enemas 101".

Hmm. And I thought I was the only one who remembered that guy...

How about this: Acmlm would able to transform into binary code, and fight online lamers with downloaded weapons and fighting skills (a la The Matrix), and his main enemy would be spoiled rich kid with tons of hacking equipment known only as Ninja AE. As the online epitome of all that is 1337, he would foil AE's pathetic attempts week after week.

And yes, I realize that sounds more like a bad saturday morning cartoon pitch that makes AE look good.

For me, It would be FFX (and FFX-2), followed by FFVII in a close second. FFX's world is just big and immersive, and VII is responsible for the (arguably) one of the best villans in FF history.
