| Kari: "Heehee...my turn!" Kari extends her palm outward towards Fenrir and Nijote. The cork on her gourd bursts off, immediately giving way to the giant wave of water erupting from it. The wave of water rushes up alongside the two escaping fighters before anyone knows it... Khrone: "Whoa! Take it easy!" Nimue: "Relax. She may seem a bit of a loose cannon, but she is in complete control of her powers..." The water rushes to a good distance in front of Nijote and Fenrir, and intensely rushes up, whirling around rather quickly, creating a giant wall of water, and halting any further escape for the two... | Jarukoth looks at the punch bowl curiously... Jarukoth: "Say, did you bring that punch bowl here?" Ada: "No, I thought you did..." There is a second of silent confusion between the two... Jarukoth: "Bah, whatever...go ahead and toss it..." Ada rushes off to the DJ, and yanks a microphone from his setup... Ada: "Okay, time now for the Bouquet Toss! All you single ladies come on up and get ready to catch it!" Of course, Kari is the first up, dashing up as fast as she could, with a competitive grin on her face. Nimue, however, stays back, for a reason unknown to her comrades or anyone else... Kari: "Whee! Bring it on, ladies!" Nimue: "....." |

| As some of the dust clears from the explosion, the DiEn team can be seen surrounded by a holy forcefield generated by Nimue, who brings it down once the attack has ceased... Nimue: "Not quite as bad as I thought..." Kari: "...but the fun's just getting started!" "Multi Shark Blast!" The wall of water collapses into several shark shaped water projectiles, all moving as if they were actual sharks. As the projectiles launch themselves at Fenrir and Nijote they almost seem to be opening their mouths as they get close... Meanwhile, Khrone is looking on in disbelief. It was clear he had underestimated everyone involved in the fight. Still, he was certain he could cause some trouble. Hopefully, he wouldn't have to use... Nimue: "Hey! You can start fighting at any time, you know..." Khrone: "...Oh. Okay..." He was so awestruck, he did need a bit of focus... Khrone reaches into his trenchcoat, and pulls out a gun, a somewhat unusual looking semiautomatic carbine, and starts opening fire on Fenrir, the only other person with a gun he can see... |

| 1) High ticket prices. 2) Running out of popcorn. 3) Being stuck in the middle of a really long movie, after you just finished a large soda, but don't go to the bathroom since you really like the movie. That's it. I guess I'm just pretty easygoing. #3 happened when I went to see LotR: RotK, but I'm sure you didn't need to know that.  |

| Jarukoth: "WHAAAHAHAH!! That was hilarious! Nice moves, Grey!" Ada: "Hey! Hey! Everyone cool it!" The rest of the ladies slowly stop assaulting Grey, except for Kari, who is still pummeling him with her fists harder than any of the other ladies with thier accessories ... Kari: "You (punch) ruined (punch) it (punch)..!!" Ada: "You too, Kari! MOVE IT!!!" Finally knocked out of her fury, Kari looks back up at Ada, suddenly regaining her sunny disposition... Kari: "Oh...sorry...heehee..."  Once Kari gets off Grey, and helps him out of the way, Ada reappears, this time with a chair, and sits down, legs crossed... Ada: "Alright. The bouquet's done. Now, all that's left is the garter..." Ada motions with her finger for Jarukoth to come up and take off the garter. Jarukoth does a daring acrobatic leap over the crowd, landing right in front of Ada, smiling... Nimue: "Just take it easy, you two! This is supposed to be a worksafe board!" A few moments later, Jarukoth successfully removes the treasured accessory from her leg... Jarukoth: "There now. That wasn't so bad, was it?" He then turns to the crowd, motioning for the men to come on down... Jarukoth: "Okay, you know the drill. Guys, line up to catch the garter! Come on, I know you all want this thing!" As he speaks, Jarukoth takes a couple of steps closer to the cake table, where his katana and wakizashi still rested. If the brawl that resulted from the ladies and the bouquet was violent, a struggle between several red blooded male warriors for the garter was bound to be more than a bit chaotic... |

| Kari: "!!" The water immediately rushes back to Kari, whirling around her body surprisingly quickly, extinguishing and surpressing the flames from the spell. As the spell dissipates, everyone can see a few burn marks on Kari's body... Kari: "Nice try...but using a fire based attack against a water user isn't usually the wisest move..." As Kari taunts Lunari a bit, Nimue notices the agile Nijote, still darting around the arena with her trademark speed... Nimue: "Kari, I think we will need your talents elsewhere...", pointing at Nijote in the distance. Nimue: "Hewitt and I will take on Lunari. Take it off, and go after her..." ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Kari: "Okay!" Undoing the master clasp holding the massive gourd on her back, Kari raises the heavily wieghted accessory over her head, and lets it drop behind her. She doesn't even wait to hear to the loud crash as the heavy gourd impacts the ground before she takes off at a shockingly fast rate of speed. A few moments later, she pops up beside Nijote, as if to take her by surprise with her sudden speed burst... Kari: "Hiya, speedy! Where's the fire?" ---------------------------------------------------- Nimue: "Hewitt...it's playtime..." Suddenly, a second head sprouts out of Kari's shoulder. It's a male head, sporting evil, glowing eyes... Hewitt: "Haaa...It's about time, sister. I need the exercise. Who's dying today, eh?" Nimue: "We're fighting all of Team Dracoon. Right now, our target is that one over there, Lunari." Hewitt: "Heheheheh...delicious..." Nimue, with Hewitt attached, dashes up to Lunari at point blank range... "Gatling Kick!" Nimue jumps at Lunari, suddenly sporting two additional legs! She then flips into a spinning kick, attacking with three legs rather than one... -------------------------------------------------- Meanwhile, Khrone is still struggling to find his niche in the fight... Khrone: "Great. I suppose I get to fight the werewolf guy, then. Whoop dee doo..." Slapping another clip into his gun, Khrone opens fire on Fenrir again, while attempting to get his attention seperate from all the chaos... Khrone: "Hey! Scruffy! Bob Barker called! He wants to say hello!" |

| Shino Shadefoot, the halfling assassin, paced anxiously in the skybox overlooking the arena reserved for him and the other two members of his DiEn team, Jarukoth and Ada Cross. There was only one problem; neither of them have shown up yet. Jarukoth always liked to warm up hours in advance. It wasn't like him not to be here before a big tournament match... Just then, Jarukoth walks in with a rather content grin on his face. Shino: "It's about time you got here! The match is about ready to begin! What kept you?" Jarukoth: "Meh...I slept in..." Shino: "You...slept in?" Jarukoth: "Mmm...yep." Shino couldn't believe what he was hearing! Jarukoth always loved high profile fights. It wasn't like him to be this laid back at a time like this. Something had to be up. Only one possibility entered Shino's perverted mind... Shino: "Alright. What did she do?" Jarukoth: "Who?" Shino: "Ada. You haven't been acting normally since the wedding! What the hell did she do to you?" Jarukoth: "...Showed me the secret of life, I suppose." Knowing Jarukoth as he did, he figured they weren't thinking of the same thing... Shino: "...Okay, I'll bite. What IS the secret to life?" Jarukoth holds up his index finger. Jarukoth: "This." Shino: "...Your finger?" Jarukoth: "One thing. Just one thing. As long as you stick to that, nothing else matters." Shino: "...And what's this one thing, now?" Jarukoth: "...That's what you need to find for yourself." Shino sighs. At least he was beginning to sound like his old, sometimes philosophical self again. ...That is, until Ada sashays into the room, and the couple begin speaking in English accents... Jarukoth: "Hello darling! I trust you slept well!" Ada: "Simply smashing! I have missed you terribly, my dear!" Shino:  Normally, Shino approved of this type of thing between couples. But this...was just obnoxious, even for newlyweds... Shino walks out the door, mumbling to himself, and slams the door behind him in frustration before the two even notice his departure... A few moments later, Jarukoth and Ada stop acting so cute, and finally get thier act together... Ada: "Hey, wasn't Shino in here a minute ago?" Jarukoth: "Yeah, here's not here now?" Ada: "Nope. No sign of him at all." Jarukoth: "Well, where would he...oh crap..." Jarukoth gets a mild sinking feeling as he looks out into the arena below... ---------------------------------------------------------- Shino runs out to the middle of the arena, and looks around for Legault, the opponent for this round... Shino: "Alright! I'm taking over for Mr. Jarukoth the Preoccupied this time. I'd say the people need to be reminded of what I can do, and I've got no problem with that!" ---------------------------------------------------------- Either Jarukoth knew there was no talking him out of it...or he just wanted to rest for a round. Not that the reason mattered much, anyway. Jarukoth just sits down next to Ada, and tries to enjoy the match. He wasn't used to watching his comrades fight, and he prepared himself for an unusual treat. Jarukoth: "I'm looking foreward to this, Shino. Good luck!" ---------------------------------------------------------- Shino: "I'm not so sure yet if I'll need it or not. What kind of fighter IS Legault, anyway?" | Shino raises an eyebrow at Legault, and takes a few steps back after turning to face his opponent. Shino: "Alright. let's get this over with..." Shino calmly takes off his bandanna from his head, and tosses it on the ground between the two fighters, stretching a bit. With a flick of the wrist, a trio of throwing knives drop from both sleeves of Shino's jacket, and into his hands. A second later, he tosses the knives at Legault with little hinderance... --------------------------------------------- Ada: "Oh! I haven't seen that move in some time..." Jarukoth: "Neither have I. This is looking like a good fight already..." |

And with that, Jarukoth heaves the garter into the crowd slightly recklessly, anticipating the impending struggle... |

| The rest of the crowd seemed to quiet down a bit with Grey and Shino's awkward moment, considering neither of them seemed willing to drop the garter to the other "No way." Shino thinks to himself, looking at Kari. "Not this time..." Jarukoth: "HASSAN CHOP!" With a single, surgically accurate slice, Jarukoth cuts the garter in two equal pieces as Shino and Grey stumble backward. It would seem staying close to his weapons wasn't such a bad idea after all... Jarukoth: "Huh. Well, that was weird..." --------------------------------- Meanwhile, Nimue rushes over in a panic to Ami's side as she sees her collapse... Nimue: "Can you speak to me? What happened?" As Legault charges, Shino snaps his fingers, and the bandanna explodes as he passes over it, releasing a large purple cloud of poisonous gas into the air around Legault. The gas also buys Shino enough time to dodge Legault's initial strike. Shino: "Feeling anything yet, Leggy?" ------------------------------------------- Ada: "Hmm. That's odd. His opponents don't normally look at Shino's traps that long before walking into them..." Jarukoth: "Of course, the ones that do never seem to suspect anything, do they?" |

| Shino tosses a knife right in front of Grey's field of vision, which sticks into the leg of a nearby table... Shino: "...No." Not even Shino was fully aware which one of Grey's inquiries he was saying no to more, but that didn't seem to matter much at the moment... Nimue: "She's not dying...not as long as I'm here..." Nimue places her staff down, and puts Ami on her back. She then places her palms on Ami's stomach and forehead, flowing healing, holy energy through her body. Nimue: "Odds are, whatever is afflicting Ami, this should kick her out of it..." Just when things are beginning to look up, Ada begins to feel something. Something distant, yet troublesome... Ada: *silently* "Damn...not again..." |

| There wasn't much Jarukoth could do in the position he was in. He was just hanging in the air by the time the cleave attack collided with him, ripping into Jarukoth's leg. The blow seemed to sober him up really quick, and he started to feel the pain again as rolls to the side a bit, the other shuriken falling around him... Jarukoth: "Gaaah...they pick NOW to kick it into high gear? So be it..." The BioArmor may have protected him from death, but it couldn't prevent complete injury. A fact that became apparent as Jarukoth struggled to his feet, his left leg bleeding... Jarukoth: "You're gonna pay for that..." "Bolt3!" The sky grew dark a mere second before bolts of lightning from the high tier spell fell from the sky and streaked fiercely toward the ninja who had damaged Jarukoth... |

| Hewitt: "WHOA! What's with the meat shield?!?" Nimue puts up her staff to block Drake's blade, struggling against his heavy blade a bit... Nimue: "It seems we must divide and conquer...I shall confront the caster." Hewitt: "Way ahead of ya...Meatshield is MINE..." Parrying the sword attack, Nimue begins to dash around Drake to confront Lunari, as Hewitt pours out of her body... -------------------------------------- Hewitt: "GyyyyaaAAAGGHH!!" Hewitt doesn't waste anymore time getting to his feet as he lunges at Drake, with his axes drawn... ------------------------------------- Kari does indeed trip, but manages to use the momentum to turn it into a rolling tumble, minimizing any damage. When she stops rolling, gets on one knee, and looks at Nijote, who seems to be stationary for the moment... Kari: "I'd say it's time for a geyser!" Slamming her palm on the ground, Kari can begin to feel some tremors beneath her feet, as a geyser begins to build under Nijote, ready to erupt at any moment... ---------------------------------------- Thinking quickly, Khrone flips his bag upward, knocking Fenrir's arm away, and giving him a moment to put some distance between him and Fenrir... Khrone: "I wouldn't be so quick to underestimate my skills..." Khrone unzips his bag, and reaches inside it, pulling out a bizarre looking object a bit bigger in size than a bowling ball. It seems to be a ball covered in a plating that looks like razor sharp scales. If Fenrir's hearing is sensitive enough, he can hear a faint growling sound coming from it... Khrone: "Allow me to introduce my friend, the Deimos Ball. I call him D-Ball, but that really won't matter to you in about...three seconds." Khrone winds up a bit, and hurls the Deimos Ball, sending it rocketing straight at Fenrir... |
