| Really? When I think videogame vixens, I think Jade (MKD), which was the only reason I could think of for watching this thing. I saw some clips of the show. Not much to it, really, which is probably another reason why you don't know what G4 is, Kitten Yiffer.  |

| The wedding party observes everyone enjoying themselves, then they take in the atmosphere of the reception hall for a moment. The general theme of the room seemed to go with "lacy white" , the elegant white fabric covering everything from the curtains to the tablecloths. The tables we adorned with several placesettings, along with a floral centerpiece. There also remained a lone, empty table with nothing else on it. The main thing that caught most of the guests eyes, however, was the dance floor. It was rather large, or at least large enough to fit everyone on the floor. The DJ stood with his setup in front on the dance floor, ready to play the music for the guests to dance to. However, the time has come for another part of the formailites... DJ: "Alright! Before things get too crazy, let's have the Bride and Groom up here for their first dance as a married couple!" Ada:  Jarukoth:  Ada drags Jarukoth up to the dance floor... Jarukoth: "Ahh...Ada? ...I...never really danced before..." Ada: "Come on, with all the martial arts you've learned? You must have SOME coordination. Here, like this..." She puts his hand on her hip, and meets his other hand with hers, guiding him in the impromptu dance lesson, as a familiar Chris DeBurgh song begins to play... Shino: "..."Lady in Red"? Real cute, you two..." ----------------------------------------------------------- Meanwhile, the waiters come out of the kitchen with platters of food. The general plates served contained Chicken Cordon Bleu. The waiters also bring out two extra vegetarian plates for exchange for the main course... Of course, none of that matters at the moment to holy woman in the corner, consoling a sad little girl. Nimue suspected that the "death" of herself she was feeling was most likely a loss of innocence. Ami always did seem to be rather introspective for a girl her age, and it wouldn't surprise her in the least if that was the case... Nimue: "Hmm...Well, let me ask you this...What part of yourself did you see dying?" ----------------------------------------------------------- On the other side of the room, a hungry hydromancer grows a bit impatient... Kari: "Do we get to have cake yet?" Rob: "No, not yet. Not for a bit, I don't think..." Kari: "Well, I wish they would...HEY! CHICKEN!" At Kari's rather loud remark caught the attention of the various cuccos wandering about the room. They hopped up on chairs and windowsills, and perked up thier heads, getting a good luck at what was being served on the plates... Cuccos:  ----------------------------------------------------------- Jarukoth: "By the way...honey, what did you put on the dinner menu?" Ada: "A surprise..." | Nimue hugs Ami lovingly, happy to have helped her. She looks down at the girl with a smile, a usually rare sight to see from Nimue... Nimue: "Just remember, if you ever wish to talk to me again, don't hesitate to ask... Nimue and Ami's tender moment winds down just as Jarukoth and Ada finish thier dance together, and the guests applaud... ---------------------------------------------------------------- DJ: "Let's hear it for the bride and groom!" Ada: "See? Nothing to it." Jarukoth: "Yeah...that wasn't so bad." The two walk off the dance floor together, as another one of the wedding party continues to wait... Kari: "...Do they cut the cake NOW?" Shino: "Huh? No...not yet." Kari: "Ooooooh comeoncomeoncomeoncomeON!" Kari remains a bit glum, until she sees Jin stride out onto the floor. Her face brightens up she gets an idea... She eagerly runs past Jin, and onto the dance floor... Kari: "Let's have...a DANCE CONTEST!" Rob: Shino: "Erm...wha?" Kari: "Yeah! Get on the dance floor and show us your moves! Come on!" Rob looks around a bit nervously. Shino just shrugs, and smiles a bit. Rob: "Mmm...Nah. I don't think so..." Shino: "Meh, I'll do it. Why not? At least I'll show Ada that she's not the only DiEn on our team who is willing to dance..." Jarukoth catches wind of Shino's comment. His eyes follow Shino as he proceeds to the dance floor after Kari... DJ: "By the way, if anyone has any requests, feel free to make them, and I'll play what music you want to dance to..." Kari: "SHUT UP AND HIT THE MUSIC!" DJ: "...okay." [Current Song: Darude - Sandstorm] As Kari begins dancing, Shino begins doing the robot...rather well. Kari is momentarily taken off guard by his sudden burst of rhythm. Meanwhile, Jarukoth slowly gets a sly grin... Jarukoth: "Ada...I think I just got some inspiration..." Ada: "...Let 'em have it..." Jarukoth leaps onto the dance floor with a rather large leap, and begins dancing wildly in a manner that can only be described as breakdancing mixed with some brazilian Capoeira. After a series of dazzling flips, handstands, and midair spins, his motions with his hand, challenging all of his fellow dancers to attempt to outdo him... Shino: "That's it. It's ON now..." |

| Nimue: "Yes, I'm afraid someone did die. However, it was only another DiEn who attempted to stop Jarukoth and Ada's wedding. It may have been shocking, but at least it wasn't someone who Ami knew closer than that..." As for the girl, Nimue turns to her, smiling again. Her remark was charmingly innocent, as usual... Nimue: "Ami, do what feels right. It's not about skill, it's about fun and merriment..." "...Though at this point, it seems as though a drunken monkey could outdance those fools..." Looking at the dance floor, most would be inclined to agree with her. Thirty minutes have passed since the competition started, and the competitors are beginning to run out of steam. Jarukoth is fit enough to continue, but is running out of dance moves. Shino has the moves, but is beginning to tire. And the always spunky Kari has simply been doing the same moves for the past twenty minutes... Jarukoth: "Getting...tired yet...Shino?" Shino: "Heh...no...way..." Kari: "Wheeee..!" Ada, still watching from the sidelines, realizes there is only one way to stop the madness. She makes her way to the DJ, handing him a small notecard. He reads it, and quickly stop the music, and raises the lights... DJ: "Okay, everyone! Now it's time for the Bride and Groom to cut thier Wedding Cake!" Shino: "Phew...thank you..." Shino collapses on the dance floor, falling flat on his face. Kari: "FINALLY! YAAY CAKE!" A pair of waiters walk out of the kitchen with the massive white wedding cake, complete with mini plastic bride and goom, and places it on the previously empty table. Jarukoth walks up to the wedding cake, calmly takes out his katana, raises it over his head, and... Ada: "HOLD IT!" Ada puts her hand in front of the blade's path, blocking the sword's path... Ada: "Too big. Think. Smaller." Jarukoth: "Smaller?" Ada: "Yes. Smaller." Jarukoth just shrugs, and places his katana down on the table. He then reaches into his coat pocket, pulling out a wakizashi, and then shows it to Ada, as if to get her approval... Ada: "...A little more..." He puts the second sword down, and looks around. He spots a cake knife on a nearby table, which he promptly takes and shows Ada... Ada: "Better." Satisfied with the decision, Jarukoth fianlly cuts a slice of the cake, putting it on a plate. He then gives his wife the first bite... Ada: "Mmm...is that chocoate mousse on the inside?" Ada gives Jarukoth a bite. Jarukoth: "Hmm...tastes like it." "Now, I guess it's time to serve it to everyone else..." Ada: "Okay...now don't do anything stupid..." Jarukoth: "Don't worry..." "Kenjutsu - Kogetsu Zan!" [Crecent Moon Slash] Ada cringes as Jarukoth leaps over the cake, making several quick slashes in succession before landing on the other side of the beautifully decorated dessert. To everyone's surprise, the cake is cut into neat, even pieces. Neither the cake or the table seem harmed... Ada: "Oh...okay then..." Jarukoth:  |

When your ready to dance, the dance floor is open!" [Current Song: Wild Cherry - Play That Funky Music White Boy] Rob: "Well, I see that your musical tastes haven't changed much..." | *cracks knuckles* Okay, here we go (in no particular order)... 1) Ada Wong: She was pretty cool in RE2, but Ada in RE4 is like finding 10,000 shares of stock in Google that you forgot you had. Unexpected, yet awesome beyond all belief. 2) Morrigan Aensland: Nobody gives enough love for Morrigan anymore. Odds are, I CAN kick your ass with her. 3) Cammy: See above. 4) Nightmare: The first time I played this game all those years ago, HE, Voldo and Astaroth were the only three things I remembered about the game. Not even the game name. 5) Nemesis: Staaaaaaarsss.... 6) Kabal: The most badass MK character. Ever. 7) Akuma: Remember how awesome it was back in the '90s when we first found out he existed? You can't recreate that feeling easily. That's all you people get for now... |

Now, I never have any clue what to do for my birthday. With my birthday coming up in early August, I'm pretty hard pressed for ideas. | Rob: "Hey, Hey! You all may want to calm down a tad. Last I checked, this place was supposed to be for friendly competition..." Jarukoth's brother, Rob Cross, accompanied by his partners, Kari Chailyn and Nimue LaFaye, walked up beside Grey's trio of warriors. Rob looks different than when he was first seen around the Acmlmboard Building. He tended to wear generally darker clothing, with only a trenchcoat being the brightest thing on him. However, the bag that he wore over his shoulder also stood out. It seemed like it would carry something a bit bigger than you average bowling ball, but gave no clue as to what was inside... Nimue and Kari looked significantly different as well. Kari came dressed in her basic Atlantian fighting attire, complete with her massive gourd strapped to her back. The fact that she is standing straight up with the gourd seems almost impossible... Nimue has shed her ceremonial cleric robes for something a bit lighter and more practical, yet not unbefitting a holy woman. It was clear she came prepared for something... Nimue: "Since the tournament is underway, Jarukoth's team is a bit tied up at the moment, and is unable to fight beside you, Grey." "...However, my team has been rather bored for quite some time..." Rob: "Hell yeah! I've been waiting for a chance to show off what I can do! All of you will fear the name of Khrone!" Kari begins to giggle... Rob: "...What?" Kari: "Heehee...Khrone? Your DiEn alias is Khrone?" Rob: "...Yeah. What's wrong with that?" Kari: "Oh...nothing. Heeheehee..." Rob: "Oh, like 'Kari' is so much better! Just call me Khrone from here on out..." Kari: "Okay...Khrone...heehee" Khrone: "SHADDAP!" Nimue shook her head in disgust. She was used to Kari's childish antics, but Rob was another story. She could hardly believe such an obnoxious fool could come from the Cross family tree... However, none of that mattered. He would have the chance to prove himself today. Nimue picks up her staff, and looks to the mob of fighters... Nimue: "Enough. If we are to fight, I suggest we get started then, shall we?" Before the fighting starts, Kari turns to Grey's team, and whispers to them, smiling... Kari: "Don't worry. We can take them! You'll see!" |
