| Jarukoth: "...the hell?" The swords fly haphazardly fly through the air. At the same time, the shuriken zero in on Jarukoth in about the same location. With one parrying blow, he knocks everything away with one fell swoop of his katana, save for a stay shuriken that sticks in him arm. He pulls it out, looks at it for a moment, and turns to the "shinobi"... Jarukoth: "That's some clumsy attack for a ninja...let's see if these guys really are what they seem..." "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!" [Shadow Clones] Six shadow clones spring up beside Jarukoth, a second before they all draw thier swords and charge the ninjas... |

| My mom is a big time Tetris and puzzle game addict. We play the occasional game of Super Puzzle Fighter every now and then. She's actually pretty good. However, she is dangerous with arcade basketball machines. I've seen her dust snot nosed kidss and guys my age alike. Scary. I can still crush her at DDR easily, though.  |

| Jarukoth: "Oh, come on. I know you can do better than that..." The clones pull out some shuriken, and throw them into the portion of the shadows where they saw them run into... Meanwhile, the seventh Jarukoth turns to the other ninja behind him, who he had almost forgotten about. As he looks at him, he realises something else he has almost forgotten about... Jarukoth pulls out an unmarked bottle, removes the top, and drinks the contents down... Jarukoth: "Man...I hope that...was..enough..." |

| The clones watched the ninjas circle them with thier katanas drawn, ready to strike as soon as one drew near... As the shockwave approached them and passed by, they only feel ticked by it a bit. Not being an illusion, they simply shrug thier shoulders, and watch the ninjas again. Jarukoth: "HEEEEeeeEYYY kID! I'm a cOmpuT3R!" Meanwhile, the real Jarukoth is stumbling around like a fool. A few moments later, he goes into a Drunken Fist stance. It would appear he has gottem himself drunk again... Jarukoth: "STOP ALL TEH D0WN1_0AD1N!!!" Jarukoth then takes the now empty liquor bottle, and heaves it right at the ninja's head in front of him... |

| Okay, this is getting a tad nuts. It's been a very long time since any progress was made in the tournament. I have spoken to Teddylot recently via PM, so I know he's around. I just don't know why there has been a problem with the judging. If this keeps up, what will be done regarding this match, and the rest of the tournament? I don't want to lose this one due to a lack of action like the last one... |

| At long last, the hour that Jarukoth had waited years for had finally arrived; a sanctioned tournament rematch with Kirbynite. He sat in the locker room, still watching the tapes of Kirbynite's matches with his wolf Ragiko by his side. He had to get every possible advantage against him that he could... Ada and Shino walk into the room, and are a bit surprised to see him not doing his normal pre-fight ritual... Shino: "...Shouldn't you be stretching?" Jarukoth: "Already did it." Shino: "...What about sharp-" Jarukoth: "-the katana is sharpened." It wasn't like Jarukoth to be this tense or deadpan. Shino knew there was something he wanted out of this fight with Kirbynite. He just wasn't entirely sure what. Shino walks into the middle of the doorway leading out, and rests against the side of it. Shino: "Alright, start talking. I have no idea about what's going on, or why you want to fight Kirbynite so badly. As your friend, I feel I have the right to know." Jarukoth: "...It's nothing..." Shino: "I'm not letting you leave until you tell me the truth." he says, brandishing a dagger. Jarukoth stands up slowly, and turns off the tape. Jarukoth: "...Back when I was Thresher, I faced Kirbynite in the tournament. In our match, he...completely annhilated me. Since then, I was labeled as second tier by the entire sim battle community. ...Good, but never quite good enough. Never being quite strong enough to win the big one...or to do what needs to be done... Shino: "WHO CARES!?! Who cares what everyone else thinks? The only thing that matters is what YOU think! What about..." Ada: "That's enough, Shino..." Shino had been so intent on getting the truth from Jarukoth, that he hadn't even noticed that Ada had been so silent this whole time. She had a pretty solemn expression on her face. Did she know something he didn't? Jarukoth: "It's alright. I may have lost to his successor, but I swear I won't lose to Kirbynite himself..." Jarukoth walks out the door, past Shino. Ragiko begins to follow him out... Jarukoth: "You go with Ada and Shino to the stands, boy. You deserve a break. Shino: "...What if you need him to fight? What will you summon? Jason?" Jarukoth: "I can't summon Jason anymore. Don't worry though, I've got it covered." Shino didn't know what puzzled him more; why he wanted Ragiko to stay with them, or when he said he couldn't summon Jason... In any case, Jarukoth ran off to the stadium entrance, as Shino, Ragiko, and a still serious Ada made thier way to their designated observation booth. ------------------------------------------- Jarukoth's music plays over the stadium speakers, and the crowd cheers as Jarukoth sprints out of his respective entrance. He can't hear any of it; he is too focused on his dragonesque nemesis in front of him... "Sharingan!" His ocular skill now active, Jarukoth draws his katana, and leaps at Kirbynite with a opening katana slash, with a look of focused anger in his red eyes... Jarukoth: "COME ON!!!" |

| Bouncing back a bit from the claw and sword parry, Jarukoth lands just in time to see Kirbynite's other massive swipe rushing at him. He flips backward, feeling only a rather large gust as Kirbynite's claw speeds past his head. As soon as he is back on his feet, Jarukoth notices a few of his hairs on the ground... Jarukoth: "Well, I guess that rules out the majority of my hand-to-hand repitoire..." -------------------------------------------------------- Ada: "This doesn't look too good." Shino: "Why? He's fought dragons before..." Ada: "...Those dragons also didn't have knowledge of the Sharingan, or most of Jarukoth's fight style..." Shino: "...geez... ...wait, what the hell is he doing?" -------------------------------------------------------- "99 Red Balloons!" Slamming his hands on the ground, a single red balloon appears, hanging in the air around Kirbynite. A second later, a second balloon appears. Another red balloon seems to appear around Kirbynite with each passing second... -------------------------------------------------------- Ada: "...I've never seen this before. Conjuring balloons?" Shino: "If those balloons aren't explosive, or filled with acid or something, I will be convinced J has lost his mind..." |
