This shuriken was obviously too big to knock away. Instead, he attempts to flip over it, get slashed in the back as does.

Jarukoth: "Ow...well, that could have been worse..."

Meanwhile, he sees Ragiko getting ganged up on. He had enough trouble focusing on the ninjas. He didn't want to have to worry about him too.

Jarukoth: "Sorry buddy, I don't want to see you hurt..."

Jarukoth dispels the summon, dismissing Ragiko in a burst of smoke before the ninja's katanas can connect...

Jarukoth: "Need I remind you fellas who your real opponent is?"

I had to get through a few fillings when I was little. Braces, too. I've pretty much had really screwed up teeth all my life up until last year.

Given the way my teeth look now, I'm quite satisfied.

I've actually heard that guy lives around where I am. There was actually an idea circulating around that were going to invite this guy to our prom.

I advised against it. The poor guy has probably suffered enough by now.

I just got back from seeing it tonight, and it was much better than I expected. I went with a friend of mine (who is a HARDCORE fan of the books), and he was a bit dissapointed. Most likely because he anticipated the movie more than any other of my friends, and his expectations were astronomical, which is understandable.

Though I have to say, the "Thanks for All the Fish" song is now stuck in my head.

I thought about seeing this movie. Then I saw the trailer.

I think I've been a tad too desensitized for one lifetime to see this movie. I don't care how good everyone says it is, I will pass on Ichi.

Yeah, my friend noticed that too, and he brought up something interesting: He said that when he was writing Adams was writing the first book, he was so behind in writing it, that the publishing company told him to send them what he had when the due date arrived. Thus explaining the somewhat abrupt ending of the book and movie.

As Garro and Kalar run off, Zabel grumbles to himself as he and Kari rejoin Nimue and Durmed...

Zabel: "Hmph...he had better watch himself..."

Kari: "I'll say...he wasn't very nice..."

Durmed: "Not to worry. This be a simple task..."

Durmed pulls a capsule from his belt, and presses a button on it. Suddenly, the capsule expands into a large ladder which reaches down to the bottom of the floor. He then turns to Kyle.

Durmed: "Just don't overexert yourself, lad. We'll probably need ye for the fights to come..."

Jarukoth noticed the type of attack Janus was using, and got an idea...

He draws his katana, and lunges at Sky-bot. If Janus and Jarukoth could time thier attacks just right, they could make an attack replicating another famous Chrono Trigger move...

"X-Strike!"

Elmo - I don't remember ANYONE claiming that the books came first. He said that event happened when the books were being written BASED off of the radio show. I assumed people here would get that. My friend was also the only one who noticed his face at the end.

Geez, I'm glad he doesn't go to this board, otherwise he would probably have a hissy fit by now...
