As for the postcount thing, I generally see postcount as a type of age/experience count. The bigger the number, the longer the person has been around. That's about it. |

Shino is a bit surprised to see some other members of Team Grey. Ada...not so much. Ada: "Let me guess...#322, right? Geez, all the romhacking powers in the world, and this place still has faulty NPCs..." Shino: "Oh...they're just watching the fight, then? Cool. You fellows have a seat, I'll go get the snacks..." Shino goes to rummage through the booth's mini kitchen for some edibles, and Ada radios to Jarukoth one more time before the fight begins... ----------------------------------------------------------- Ada: *via ComLink* "J, it seems that "the successor" thinks quite highly of you, and even has some prior knowledge about your fighting style. Don't let him down..." Jarukoth: "...I don't intend to..." Ada: *ComLink* "I'll get back in touch with you once I gather more intel on your opponent. Ada out." The sun doesn't shine too brightly above the arena. Nothing interrupts Jarukoth's sharingan from identifying Janus from approaching. As soon as he steps within range, a voice rings out over the stadium speakers... Announcer: "FIGHT!" Not a second after the word is uttered does Jarukoth make his opening move - a horizontal slash from his katana, but with a larger slash radius beyond that of a normal katana. Energy can be briefly seen extending from the sword, extending his slash attack... "Kenjutsu - Kogetsu Zan!" [Sword Art - Crecent Moon Slash] |

| As Shino brings out the tray full of refreshments, he overhears Team Grey's boasts. Shino: One moment, please. Shino takes a cup of water from the tray, and takes a gulp. A second later, Shino does a spit take in Team Grey's general direction. Ada simply begins to laugh. Ada: "Don't underestimate a DiEn. This fight is more evenly matched then you think." ---------------------------------------- Meanwhile, Jarukoth sheathes his katana as Janus speaks to him, and takes a fighting stance... Jarukoth: "As strong as I want to be.......By the way, you're within range of my divination....." "Jyuuken - Hakke Rokujuu Yonshou!" [Gentle Fist Style - 64 Points of Divination] Jarukoth quickly turns around to meet Janus, as his hands radiate with energy. He then lunges in to connect with the strikes... ---------------------------------------- Ada: "Now then, let's see how he deals with an organ damaging combo attack...." As it clears, a large beast remains, a couple feet taller than Krauser, and almost insectlike in appearance. It growls at Sion and Enma eerily... Krauser: "I see your Enma....and raise you my Verdugo." --------------------------------------- Hewitt: "Gravija!" Hewitt focuses the spell at the orbs, the enhanced gravity sending them rocketing to the ground before they can reach him. However, Korra's dropkick still connects, knocking Hewitt to the ground... Hewitt: "Dookie in a bag...then you put it on your feet...put it on your feet...dookie in a bag then ya put it on yer feet...then every-one EX-PODES! YAHH!" After Hewitt flips back up to his feet, he forms some fireballs in his hands, which he hurls at Korra after a moment. Meanwhile, Nimue steps in front of Ami, just to be sure... Nimue: "Sorry, but I cannot let you interfere..." |

| Shino: "Oops. Heh heh. Sorry about that, Red. I....HEY! Was that the 64 points already?!?" As Shino directs his attention back to the fight, Ada sighs to herself, and gets up from her chair... Ada: "I'll get you a towel, Red. Just hold off on fighting Shino for now, ok?" ------------------------------------------- Meanwhile, Jarukoth watches Janus activate his Haste spell on himself. He was pretty confident in his Sharingan's ability to read Janus' movements, but given that this was a tournament match, he didn't want to take any chances... Jarukoth draws his katana again, and focuses his energy through the blade for a second time... "Kenjutsu - Senpuu Retsu Zan!" [Sword Art - Whirlwind Slash] Jarukoth whirls around, releasing the energy stored in his blade as he does so. | Ada: "Ok, here you go, Red." She tosses him the towel, and then sits down again, focusing her attention on the fight. Shino can't focus as well, however. He just noticed the way Red was looking at Ada. Almost as if he wanted to... Nah. It couldn't be. Still...he didn't like people eyeing his comrades like that... -------------------------------------------------- Jarukoth, meanwhile, didn't like having his moves reversed like that, as expected. Janus' whirlwind easily cancels out his own attack. Futhermore, the copious amounts of rock being spewed everywhere weren't making things any easier. Jarukoth dodges most of the rock, getting struck by a few of the smaller chunks. One thing was certain: he would need a little something extra to get any sort of advantage. Jarukoth: "Wait. Shino's stuff..." He takes out the bottle, and only looks at it for a moment before taking a big swig of what was inside. A odd feeling begins to come over him... Jarukoth: "So...that's what you were planning...very...clever..." ----------------------------------------------- Ada: "Ok, spill it. What's going on here Shino?" Shino: "Well, last night, I decided to try an experiment. I had Jarukoth watch some kung fu movies with the sharingan active, just to see if he could learn the style." Ada: "...So, what does that have to with that stuff in the bottle?" Shino: "The stuff in the bottle is just Dwarven Stout. Some of the strongest stuff outta Norrath, I might add." Ada face fills with a grim realization. Ada: "Shino...what movies did you make him watch?" Shino: "Heh...Drunken Master I and II..." --------------------------------------------- Jarukoth: "HEEEY YO CHICO!! Whyyya godda be all SPPiinnin' roUnd and SHit!?! HUH!?" In one of the more bizarre displays ever to come out of Jarukoth, he staggers around, taking a very unusual fighting stance... Jarukoth: "LET'S FIGHTING LOOOVE! WHOOP WHOOP! WUSSUP BAYBEE!?! WUSSUP BAYBEE!?!" ---------------------------------------------- Ada: "So...right now, he thinks he's a drunken master." Shino: "No...right now, he IS a drunken master. This should be gooood...." | Krauser: "Finger Shots!" Krauser extends his right hand to Enma, right before bullet sized bones rocket out of his fingers, and speed at the monkey king. Meanwhile, Verdugo backflips out of Sions way. Verdugo then spins around, attempting to hit Sion with his sharp, dangerous tail... --------------------------------------------- Just as Fenrir's razor sharp claws are about to connect, Kari's water sweeps her up, and quickly carries her a good distance away from the fanged menace... Kari: "Fenrir...I knew that name sounded familiar..." After she lands, Kari forms the water around her into several independent forms. As she does so, she throws down a CO2 bomb between them, creating a large cloud of the chilling gas... "Chailin Ice Crasher!" Kari then sends the water forms through the cloud of CO2, freezing them into large icy spikes, which fly at Fenrir... --------------------------------------------- Hewitt: "BWAHAHAHA!!! Kid, are you sure you're ready for - URG!!" Once again, Hewitt's arrogance costs him, as Korra's blast collides...painfully. After a few moments, Hewitt gets up once again, angrier than ever... Hewitt: "Are you mocking me, you little shit.....I SAID ARE YOU FUCKING MOCKING ME?!?!!?!?!?!" "SLOW!!!!" Hewitt attempts to cast a biot of time magic on the young fighter. He wasn't entirely sure if it would work, but he was more than willing to take that chance... Nimue, on the other hand, had become much more serene with young Ami... Nimue: "Don't worry about it, honey. This is a sanctioned match. If you still wish to fight, go ahead. It's okay..." |

| Jarukoth: "you'se want ta fight ME? DO YA, CAPTAIN CRUNCH!? I'm MAgiCALLY DElicioUS!!!" Jarukoth draws his sword...rather clumsily, and begins to fall over on his side. He props himself up by digging his blade into the dirt. He then hops up on top of the handle, and balances himself surprisingly smoothly for a drunken man. Jarukoth:"Turn the page, wash yer hands....turn the page, wash yer hands...." As he balances, Jarukoth and the sword rocket up into the air, and then comes crashing down a second later on the blade, creating small cracks in the ground beneath it. Jarukoth begins "pogo jumping", up and down, on his sword, coming closer and closer to crashing down on Janus with every jump... Jarukoth: "...and then you turn the page...and THEN YA WASH YA HANDZ!!!" -------------------------------------------- Ironically, the action outside of the arena seemed to be more serious then the action inside it. Shino only smirks as he hears Red's accusations... Shino: "Hmph...at least I'm not undressing your teammates with my eyes..." Ada: "What?!?" Shino: "Heh....I can't be fooled, Red. I know a lot about perversion...believe me..." |

Shino then emerges from the shadows of the room, grinning rather smugly. Ada: "Let me guess, you switched yourself with a kage bunshin when you saw Red was getting angry, and he threw the clone out instead of you?" Shino: "Pretty much, but I added one little twist..." ------------------------------------------------------------------- Down on the battlefield, Shino's clone explodes violently before Red can begin his assault! ------------------------------------------------------------------- Ada: "...........since when did you know how to make your clones explode like that?" Shino: "Since when did YOU master gun katas?" Ada: ".........Fair enough. Well, let's get moving then..." Shino: "Wait a sec, is this allowed in the tournament?" Ada: "Even if it isn't, we can't let Jeff be ganged up on. Come on...." Ada leaps out the window, and sails down to the arena below, leaving Shino to wonder about what his comrade just said... Shino: "....Did she just call him.....never mind." ------------------------------------------------------------------- Meanwhile, Jarukoth leaps off his sword to dodge Janus' shots, leaving the sword dug in the ground behind him. As soon as Jarukoth gets within range, he let's loose with some fast, crazy strikes, drunken fist style. Jarukoth: "dat Wuz TOO close! You were almost a Janus sandwich...ROFFLE!" ------------------------------------------------------------------ Ada lands in front of Red and Green rather smoothly, reaching behind her back... Ada: "Since you boys like interfering in other people's fights so much, I hope you won't mind me interfering in yours, Red..." Ada takes her arms out from behind her, revealing a pair of Covenant Needlers. She then exhales slowly, while assuming a stangely exotic fighting stance... "Gun Kata - Dance of the Pines!" From her stance she sprays needler shots at both Red and Green, as Shino lands on one of the smaller islands behind her. Shino: "I was going to get involved, but it seems like you've got things covered..." |

"Plagas - Level 2!" Krauser's other arm then grows into a twisted form matching the other arm, granting him two massive, beastly arms.... "Crusher Clap!" In another rather plain maneuver, Krauser attempts to crush Enma between his massive claws... --------------------------------------------------------- Hewitt: "GYAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!" Ami's blast hit's Hewitt full force, sverely damaging him. Nimue rushes over to him as quickly as she can. She silently curses herself for being so naive... Hewitt: ".......ughhh..." Nimue: "Quick, jump back in until you can fight again..." Hewitt quickly melts back into Nimue's body, leaving only Hewitt's head sticking out, nearly lifeless. Nimue: "Summoning - Sabafang!" With a burst of smoke, Nimue's summon steps out onto the battlefield. It is a rather large white tiger, growling rather viciously at the two kids. Nimue: "Don't underestimate them, Sabafang. They are more powerful than they look..." |
