Wow, I thought this thread was dead... (No pun intended.)  Sion: Sounds like the Red9. You really only need one handgun. My advice? Sell 'em both for the Blacktail later on. It's way better. Also, the virus was destroyed. Racoon City got nuked, remember?  Guru of Furu: The Outbreak games do have a story to them. At least they hold more relevance than the movies, which had little to do with the actual official storyline. While the subject is up, RE Rebirth used to be my favorite, until 4 came along. I have to admit, though, that I still play 2 and 3 every now and then. I think they still hold up. |

"Hakke Rokujuu Yonshou!!!" [64 Points of Divination] ----------------------------------------------------- Ada: "What the...!?! When did he learn the Juuken style?" Shino: "His Sharingan analyzed all the pure energy attacks Stacice did, and he learned it himself." Ada: "Then how can he seal up Stacice's energy if he doesn't have the Byakugan?" Shino: "He can't. Because he doesn't have it, all that is is just a series of 64 quick combo strikes dealing damage to the inner body and organs. He may call it the 64 Points, but it's just basic Juuken." Ada: "...Remind me again why YOU can't do that?" Shino: "I'm a halfling, and NOT a Hyuuga family member. It's not exactly a simple thing to learn..." |

I don't think it's very likely, considering guys like Itachi are still around. Plus, we haven't even seen any of that plant guy's powers yet... | As Jarukoth unleashed his assault, he realized that Stacice was attacking him right back. Instead of attempting to lay hits, he focuses on using his Juuken strikes to deflect Stacice's blows. On the 64th strike, he unleashes an extra burst of energy, pushing himself backward and creating some space. It is then when he looks up, and really gets a good look at the fire giant behind Stacice... Jarukoth: "...Oh crap! Kuchiyose no Jutsu!" Jarukoth slams his palm on the ground, and large cloud of smoke emerges behind him. When it all clears, a giant black rooster-like creature is visible behind Jarukoth. Jarukoth: "Hail to the king, baby...King Cucco, that is." ---------------------------------------------- Shino: "Well, now they both have giant summons. What now?" Ada: "I don't like to bet against a comrade, but I'm betting that Stacice will get a big fat check from Perdue in the near future..." Shino: "That isn't a chicken. That's a Cucco. BIG difference." | Shino: "TAKE COVER!" ---------------------------------------------- Before Shino's words could even be recognized, Jarukoth had already taken off running. He dives behind King Cucco, who is already injured from the Efreet's strike. The blades collide with the King Cucco directly, which forces the Cucco to upchuck a rather large...egg? In any case, the massive egg flies in Stacice's general direction, thouhg obviously not well aimed... Jarukoth holds his ears... Jarukoth: "EGG BOMB!" |

| Rebirth is the RE1 remake. I think you've heard of that. The Outbreak stories are just a bunch of side stories of a group of average citizens during the RE 2/3 timeline. Translation: They add VERY little, so don't worry about it too much. I've played through the game three times already, and am pretty much just toying around with all the different guns at this point, saving my herbs and CT/IL combo for when I run out of ammo. I just killed an El Gigante with only two shots from a fully upgraded Broken Butterfly. Nice. |

| The force of the landing didn't set it off for whatever reason, but the second blow was more than enough. The egg bomb exploded quite forcefully, damaging anything in the immediate area. The explosion also caused the King Cucco summon to dispel, leaving Jarukoth exposed, with only wisps of smoke left behind to protect him.... Jarukoth: "Well...this stinks." |
