In my algebra class in eighth grade, something was going wrong. I don't know if it was the difficulty of the questions, or the fact that the teacher couldn't lecture well at all, or the fact that the textbook sucked, or what. But, in several of the tests we took in that class, more people failed than passed. Sometimes we were allowed to do a test over if we failed, but sometimes we just had to take the failing grade. And there were only about five grades a quarter in that class, so one bad test could kill you. |

No offense or anything, but I can't stand threaded view either...and it isn't really necessary. If you want to reply to a particular post in the thread, just quote it. |
In general, only the most basic board systems use threaded view...all the major ones (phpBB, Invision, vBulletin, etc.) are flat view. (restricted) | (restricted) |

Once, we had trouble with all the modems in the house, and we couldn't figure out why...turns out that my mom, who had just bought and set up a new computer, accidentally plugged the phone line (RJ-11) into an RJ-45 jack, and apparently that messed up all the phone lines in our house.

Whenever I'm playing a Zelda game that I'm familiar with, I always have to get everything. Every heart container, every weapon, every item. Oddly enough, I don't like maxing out my rupees in Zelda games, I'd rather spend them when they're near max. (Maybe because I don't want to find a 300-rupee treasure chest when I'm already at 999 rupees...) |

The problem with that is that the number of pages is customizable...if someone decided to display 5000 threads per page, they could reply to some really old threads. |

They used to hold LAN parties at my school, for the students in the two advanced computer classes. I never went to any of them though...they didn't have any classic games, just the new stuff. |
