OK, here we go...

An emulator is a program that allows you to play games designed for a specific system on your computer (or even another videogame system). For instance, if you wanted to play NES games on your PC, you would get a NES emulator for the computer. Roms are the games themselves. IF you wanted to play Super Mario Bros., you would need to find a Super Mario Bros. rom and load it with your NES emulator.

There are a variety of emulators available for free download on the Internet. There are also roms out there, but they're a lot more difficult to find.

To use your SMB3 editor, you need to find a SMB3 rom and load it with the editor, then you can alter the levels and such. To play your altered SMB3, you will need a NES emulator.

Simetimes I'm naked when I'm home alone...I don't like wearing clothes for some reason, especially on hot days.

Which is another reason why I prefer the windows to be closed.

Huh? What? (I don't speak French...)

I was exam-exempt this year, but I've had to take them in the past...I don't like them, the teachers expect us to remember things we learned ten months ago and have never covered since.

I think the Officer's Club and World Affairs forums should defnintely be watched by a moderator, whether it is one specific to that forum, or a full mod or admin who checks regularly.

I wonder if people figured those two forums would be too tough to moderate, so they didn't sign up for either of them...

Um...have you noticed that this "newbie" registered more than a month ago? I don't think we need to keep welcoming someone who is no longer new...

Yeah, I HATE Tubular. It's the level I always dread when I'm going for all 96 goals. The inflated Mario is so tough to maneuver and moves very slowly, you need to know which "?" blocks to hit or you're dead, and one hit from an enemy means you have to start over. I especially hate the baseball-throwing guys...it's extremely hard to move up or down the screen passing through a line of baseballs without getting hit, because Mario moves so darn slowly.

The only gimmick I can think of is that there's a LOT of optional stuff. I still think there should have been more dungeons. Like, at least eight.

I haven't done much heavy-duty studying for anything...usually, I only need to study if the test is about memorization, like in science class when we had to memorize the names of various pieces of lab equipment, parts of the human anatomy, parts of a cell, etc.

Yep, Tubular is the second Special world.

Outrageous (the 7th special world) is the other one that people find difficult...basically, you have to carry a trampoline through a long level filled with bullet bill cannons and those jumping fire things. I recommend Yoshi and a cape. (If Yoshi is carrying the trampoline in his mouth, make sure to spit it out every so often or Yoshi will swallow it.)

I like the Light world music in LTTP. It's like the original Zelda overworld theme, only...SNES-ified.

I also like the music in the last palace in Zelda II for some weird reason. Maybe because that's the only place that particular theme is used.

TMK was one of the very first boards I ever registered at...I posted there from January to May of 2002, under the name The_Millionaire (my first online alias, which is kinda ironic because I'm now a socialist). And there were, like, no rules. At all. There was only one staff member, and he would go months without even viewing the board. So people were always double posting, creating total spam, posting in the wrong forum, etc.

The software (which I think was custom, or else a rare board system) seemed very incomplete and buggy, it was possible to view and post in nonexistant forums just by entering an unused ID. That place had zillions of hidden forums because of this.

I found Acmlm's site in summer of 2001, but didn't discover that there was a board until early 2002.
