Nice hack. Here is a review of it in a pro/con comparasion Pro: Unique levels and overworld Use of Yoshi Island and other ExGFX Overworld GFX Con: none Others: 3-up moon at Yoshi's House? Overall: Awsome 5 out of 5(Great) Other opitions: I agree with RapTop. Water on Water seems weird. |

Super Cape easy! The ability to grab onto a climbable object to 'hold a flight' is amazing and I take advantage of the brief invinciblity from losing flight to get by tough enemies! | |||

Enter whatever you want the block to act like in the 'Block will act like'(or something like that) in hex. Here are some examples. Solid Block(default for unused blocks)-130 Passible Block-25 Black Parana-12F For assembling the blocks, use the 8X8 editor to find some blocks you want to make up the 16X16 tile(all the objects are made of 8X8 blocks, but you can use ExGFX), put those values into the top 4 boxes, set layer priority and pallet, and finally paste it(right mouse) to the tile you want it to be on. It's quite easy once you get the hang of it. |

If anyone can remember the old board, Lemon Kirby was at first the 'head overworld creator' of this topic but due to diffculties, he told me to take charge. So I'll recap the rules SMG's Overworld Creation Service Guidelines 1.Tell me what you want the OW(overworld) to look like(otherwise, it's ramdom) 2.Send me ExGFX you want added. 3.If you want levels added or removed, tell me(I always move Cholcate Secret and Donut Secret 2 to thier areas). 4.Give me a patch of your hack if you have started it. 5.Custom pallets are added(tell me if you want to do it yourself). That about covers it. |

You want screenshot, you got screenshots! First: Second(the dotted paths indicate shortcuts): Third: Comparing with SMWUM and the 2 unreleased sequals, Return to Ulimate World and Lost in the Mystery Forest: SMWUM(Water Spots) Return to Ulimate World(Main Land)[The left top passage leads to the yellow switch and Main Lands 1) Lost in the Mystery Forest(Tropical) For the spot on the bridge, I used a preplaced level properties techinque to place the tile without stopping the path to the yellow switch. 1.Place a level tile where you want the level to appear. 2.Set up the level properties 3.Turn move,copy,paste,delete layer 1 settings off. 4.Delete the level tile and replace the orgional path tile. 5.Use the layer 1 event editor to add the level tile you want. This can be used for any kind of blocking passage(landslide, earthquake, bridge collpase, ect.) |

While searching the Lunar Magic Data, I found this weird message in address '000A8214' to '000A8284'. "Overworld level and directional ASM enhancement data" I think that this ASM hack could allow for all levels from 0 to 1FF to be pointed by a level. Also, this could make multible directions enable for a certan event(or more than two goals to a level. I'm not really sure). I'm still somewhat in the dark about this, but this could lead to even more levels from the overworld(exactly 428 more[in decimal]!). |
