We were, as we had been planning it for over a year now but Sepho and Jizuko decided to go against the grain and completly abandon us and they're going to join the shitty Euro servers. I guess 1-3ms less of lag is THAT important to them.

And Yarx just plain wont talk to me in game.

Angel, not as much. Especially now that they fucked up Warrior even more-so. I declare it the shittiest profession in the game. Seriously. A damn priest has about the same or more hit points than a warrior.

But I just started a paladin, for the thrid time so I'm going to see where this takes me. So far, so good.
Nah, I could play perfectly fine with 400ms lag on the open beta. It's just that I want to do my own payment, I don't want to rely on someone else to do my 'bills' and besides, CE seems to be out of stock in the US. But if they remove the localized server crap sometime in the future, I might just make another char there. As long as I can do the payment from here, from my own internet account. But, I have no idea what blizzard has in store for the future. We'll see.

It's Asian, what do you expect? All of their sites are filled with flash and tons of it.

But it seems pretty nice. You can have some cool transportations and there are cool world-altering features. You should all read the features page on the site.

Anyhow, the servers open tomorrow so no playing til then

Soon they'll have more money than manpower and then they'll just build houses out of dollar bills
Apparantly Sweden is setting aside about 74 million dollar for the tsunami. (Not including Population donations)
Amazon has raised 3.5million, Gates foundation has raised 3million,
And according to my sources, about 2 billion dollars is donated in total. And lastly, Japan is in the lead with their 500 million dollar aid.

I dig this, sure, alot of people died and I of course feel sorry for them, but the fact that the whole world can just pour out money like nothing because of a disaster just rings nice. People still care about other people

Well I kinda understand them. Who said they were in charge?
And they didn't say that the US did too much, just that they are undermining the UN.

Here's some fun stuff from CNN

"U.N. officials have said it will cost billions of dollars over a period of years to rebuild the destroyed region. The World Bank, which has pledged $250 million, said Sunday it may triple that pledge later.

Private donations may alleviate pressure on the U.S. government -- which faces its largest deficit -- to contribute more money.

Norway announced plans Monday to raise its pledge from $16 million to about $180 million -- an 11-fold increase that would make its contribution the single largest per capita pledge of any nation by a wide margin.

With a population of a little more than 4.5 million, Norway's pledge would come out to approximately $39.50 per citizen. The U.S. pledge of $350 million comes out to $1.19 per person."

There'll always be the discussion of the beggar that has 10$ and donates 9$ versus the millionaire that donates 1000$. The millionaire donates most but the beggar gives most of what he possess.

I know that it would be impossible for the US to match many other countries in donations per GDP since they are bigger they also have more poverty and homeless people. But 1.2$~ per GDP?

So Craw, I quote again;

Onto 'another' subject, I want to see a site that lists population donations, would be funny to see. And I also wonder what other countries have for campaigns, here we got like a little banner showing 20 times during all programs/movies on TV and also every now and then there's a commercial about donating. And just now, 2hours ago, all channels just stopped broadcasting (EVEN MTV, OMGOSH) because of the 3 minute silence in europe.

I used to play but not anymore. Both starcraft (borrowed cdkey from friend) and D2 with exps (got cdkey from someone on the forum here, very nice, unfortunately I can't remember the name :\)

Anyway, this is online gaming.
