Some dialups have wake on call and some network cards have wake up on lan or something, not sure what the last one is called. Basically, if someone calls you when you have your modem in and comp off, the comp can start up. Or if someone connects to you through the network and your comp is off, it can start up. It'd be very weird if a virus could start up your comp, I doubt most viruses can do that. |

I haven't noticed an "influx of lamers" or the post quantity/quality degrading. It's how it's always been. And right now, I'd say it's a bit calmer. You don't have to rule by fear. |
Oh, and you know what's worse? When an admin bans someone without giving a warning BY PM, and then ban them for 3days because of someones css being down I'm actually convinced that the more people complain about "the golden days" the more glorified the golden days will be and the more crappier the present will seem. Just, improve yourself and stop complaining. Keep the attitude up. Truth be told, I doubt the 'golden days' were that golden at the time. I think we still have fun now.
