This is the old German FAQ of my translated AcmlmBoard v1.92.
I don't know how the PHP syntax was changed in the later distributions.
http://mitglied.lycos.de/mithrandir21/faq.php.txt

But really, translating the FAQ is a couple of minutes to do it
Edit: Fixed two damn typos.

It is actually too easy. I'm one who never reached the 10.000 in TA or PDP yet (once I got close and missed it by 30 point - but it was with luck) and I'm usually between 5000 and 6000 in Time Trial only, but the new PDP/Dr. Mario for GBA is really nicely done - but I'll go with Hiryuu.

I got scores above 10.000 - unbelievable; but I would have to try it on "hard" yet

And surviving against a Lv.20 CPU on easy also can be done - but only I lose anyway, due its way loong time (last time it was about six minutes)

Hiryuu - play on the highest speed in VS. mode against a lv 20 CPU - this is truly hard - it really seems to end in just that second when you rech the top - it is fun. I only have to find out how to change the tunes, since only one track is quite boring

Zeal Kingom. The music is just more than kicking ass, the graphics are awesome - and from here it leads to the pretty neat battle against Giga Gaia (really nice), Dalton and of course the famous Zeal Palace.Although there is no way to return back, at least you can make Epoch travel back to the era - enter the "Commons" to hear that nice track again and again ... my most favourite track after the battle of Lavo's second form, which is that after you fought him on the surface (depending on "how" you get into the last battle).

I think Nintendo didn't think the customers might want to have the original feeling - but "only" a portable PDP version. The graphics are not bad, but are somehow cold, without life, despite moving backgrounds. A motive is missing.
It's like a hospital - white walls. Even good equipment and doctors cannot help in a atmosphere like that.
I wouldn't mind Dr. Mario at all if I had a GBA - but I would buy the game even for PDP then. That's the reason I adore the SNES version (both Japanese and American) of it.

I think threads could be left open after a problem got solved, it sure would depend on the case. If someone has issues with Daemon Tools or something, it could be left open even after solving the problem - so someone else might browse that and maybe bump it. On the other hand this might interfere with the rule of pushing older-than-fourteen-days-old threads.
If I was a mod in a certain forum I would have left open a bumped thread open as long the poster has a reason to push it, not something like pushing a thread like the one for Meteos' release and not having a post like "YEA THIS GAME KIKS AS AND IS KUL!" and nothing else.
Edit: Fixed two types. No "pusing" but "pushing" xD

I don't want to yell about it, but even if people make an editor with a nice GUI, people will expect something like "I click on that - and a complicated ASM operation has to be done!".
If Solar Soundtrack will be done, it (probably) will ve convenient, but it is not like RPG Maker, where you simply can import any MIDI or MP3 file - it will require a little more work than just using music file x from ROM y, if I'm not mistaken.

And, blackhole89 even is not our slave, although he announced it - things need time and other things have priority.

Well, at least in Winamp 2.x/3.x it is free - and already in Winamp included. Why including a plugin in a free version then, if the plugin itself costed money ?

On the other hand I dunno about future versions like Winamp 5, which never will come on my system and I simply cannot get off that nice version 2.89 which uses hardly any resources and starts up in about two seconds.

Let's see if I can blame myself in the loser's bracket too - but the fight against Tamarin was funny indeed

Meanwhile I reached my minimal goal in Tetris Attack - getting the 99999 in less than thirty minutes:
http://mitglied.lycos.de/mithrandir21/Record.jpg

Now on to going about halving that time, which will take a longer time
Edit: Tried the Vs. mode in Pokémon Puzzle League. I'm not really anyone who likes Pokemon, but the difficulty owns me - finished already "V-Hard" with two continues - now I got S-Hard unlocked and are in Stage ten - the continue display already reached two digits. Tetris Attack'S CPU almost seems "easy" compared to that

Nevertheless I still favor original TA/PDP above any other version

I messaged him twice yesterday to set up the match with Kitten Yiffer. Yesterday (CET zone) ZidaneFFIX and me were online and Kitten Yiffer wasn't. But I think it is just the fact that they are people of two different communities. I'll send him another PM - I suggest if it doesn't get done in the next eight hours to drop ZidandeFFIX from the tourney and to replace with Setzer as stated in Hiryuu's post (the time span is calculated as we live in the same time zone like Kitten Yiffer).

Alright: The new time span should really be enough. I also PMed him. If it does not get working either, I suggest dropping rather ZidaneFFIX than Kitten Yiffer in that case, since Kitten Yiffer is more active in this community and might be just fair.

I know him personally. He works sometimes at different times, but I had forgotten that.

Sorry for inconvenience - there should be no other deadline for those two (thus Setzer getting a chance to jump in); but I think Tamarin should decide if there are problems.

As for myself, I will stay in the tourney, of course.

EDIT. Whooops, forgot the changed title about the deadline . Alright then

Whoever wins in our match Xkeeper against me - he will get a shitload of work in the next round to do - getting either Hiryuu or Tamarin will be pretty hard

But nevertheless I'm working on me - trying to get the minimal goal to defeat Very Hard in PDP without continue - still happens too much I use continues. On the other hand I'm improving in chaining without garbage quite good for my purposes - earlier I just waited for the enemy to drop a huge block to "begin" actually my chaining

Tamarin just should have used time lagged chains more ... in one of the games you was in a bad sitduation, Hiryuu ... (although that state only lastes seconds ), if two rows touch a garbage block at the same time it is anyway only one chain plus a combo added - instead of two or even more separate chains as long the chains are at different elevation levels ... Other than else I also will have a "nice" opponent - but I learned my lessen - although I will be cannon fodder I won't die due to insanely high raised stacks or dieing on my own than on my opponent

Yes, I meant - despite some nasty spelling errors in the last post above I just meant Tam. And speeding up helps, yepp, since the speeds grow up more and more after a couple of minutes.

Heh, I think if someone can do the stop-the-stack-indefinitely-skill, is there even a chance to defeat an opponent ?
How could be Abused Rib be defeated ?
I mean, if he constantly scored x13s - and the other opponent scores these too - it simply goes on forever - or who makes the first mistake

Super Mario Bros. - my first video game ever, taking two full months of play to finish this game, going through lots of lives - getting five lines of text with a short and looping piece of music while seeing few pixels representing Toadstool. I never forget that - when I was playing with a friend, he usually had to wait until 7-2 where I began using lves first; so he usually could play cards or something else before it was his turn

Super Mario Bros. 3 - Simply the best 2D jump and run on this earth, loving the hammer suit for eternity, having nasty problems in world 7 until I finally could the game - also having the most innovative level design as well

Later I got grown up, but these games are still memorable even today:

Rudra no Hihou - this game simply introduced me to east-style RPGs, it has these cute characters, very neat graphics (best world map tilesets ever on a SNES, the dungeons and the villages also rock), along with tons of animations, good music and a higher difficulty level which invoked strategy, the creation of new magic-spells as well as the proper usage of the limited amount of MP

Valkyrie Profile - the battle system still is the best one for me outside, it also showed me some nice work from the music guru Motoi Sakuraba.

Diddy Kong Racing - unbelievable how hard a game targeting children usually could be - I even cannot get past the first Wizpig race (), thus also having the ability to use planes, hovercrafts aside the karts as well.

And I'm stuck in S-Hard mode in Pokémon Puzzle League - Ritchie already was a pain in the ass for a below-average player (eight continues). but stage 14 is hard and my continue counter is already standing at 14 ... I wonder how hard Mewto will be

So, X nailed me as expected. Getting two strong opponents in a row if pretty hard anyway, but I won't whine about it
The result - without counting our first game as the practice game 3 - 0, with counting 2 - 1. Anyway, he got me pretty easy, Xkeeper advanced one step forward

Hmm... :\

Sorry, that's not entirely true. I told him that these 13xxx were in the new GBA version "Dr. Mario & Panel De Pon" on the easiest difficulty level, and as we all know, it is pretty slow.

On Tetris Attack/PDP for SNES I yet have to reach 9000, peak was 9008 once, but my score varies strongly, between 5000 and 8000 - mostly only about 5500 to 6500

Hiryuu, I have some movies up, I know I suck:
http://mitglied.lycos.de/mithrandir21/1PTimeTrial.rar

Copy and paste, it's on Lycos - I had a reason to make it not a clickable link

And about the lag with Zidi:

I have lag if I leave XChat or the messenger open, but he lives in the same country as me, has (as far as I know) about 2000 kpbs down and at least 198 kpbs up, if I'm not mistaken - I for myself have 2000 kbps/128k up

But Hiryuu and him live far away geographically, as I also had some lag against Tamarin, you and X too.

Third edit (I don't care);:

But funny to see: I still beat Zidi mostly, but he advanced more forward than me - I already got out in round 1. Go, figure

I'm wearing a cap from the type "Natural Shaping Comfort" cap with stealth/invisibility-technology.

All other caps are crappy looking on me, also I don't like wearing anything on my head. Taking caps on and off messes up my hair anyway Since it blows into my face when it is windy I anyway have to make a ponytail
