Try to empty your TEMP folder on your windows partition/harddisk (don't delete the folder itself, just its contents) and retry it.

Link2004 probably meant a Zelda gaming forum, but the one Leg mentioned was a ROM hacking forum for Hyrule Magic (on Zophar's Domain should be a copy of it), which is a Zelda III Editor.
It's here: http://www.zophar.net/utilities/sneslevel.html
But as said, even if the forum was remade and both gaming and ROM hacking might have been discussed - it would have lower activity. Threads about that also fit into Emulation or General Gaming.

The Berlin Wall is not sexy at all - a concrete wall with an "overhang" about it and some barb wire about it. Its "beauty" seem to be only due to the roots of it.

The Wall of China is another question, since it is way longer than the Berlin Wall, a better construction. But we're talking about sights anyway, so its "beauty" is just the viewer's opinion

I often "forget" to be in motion (clearing keeps the last two seconds after touching the top lengthening) so I'm about to send a nice present over - and die myself

Grabbed also a code for it. Opera is nice, but the only feature which had might have it comparable to Firefox for me was minor, as stupid as it sounds:

The instant reaction of mouse gestures. But even that got off, since I'm using Deer Park Alpha 2. In its release notes there is an entry

Faster browser navigation with improvements to back and forward button performance

it - so now even the mouse gestures work instantly just like in Opera
Opera is a nice browser (if ad-free), but it ranks second after Firefox and paying for a web browser ?
No thanks

I hope not - just think someone puts malware into his/her layout, like bypassing the "download font" dialog wirth IE somehow (and downloading/running something else then without the user's permission). I think the download-thingy-link is just enough:

Who wants to view it with the normal font, can download and install it, who not - can read the text anyway.

What I might recommend is a small thumbnail in the signature which is something like a preview of the font - so you know if the font will be worth downloading for your personal taste, or if someone is not interested it.
Better even might be a that clickable thumbnail pointing to the preview and/or to the font itself.

Maybe the gravity played an important role and it was more than 9,81 m/(s²) - accelerated by its cheating/boost feature

And as for Sony - my old PSX often locks up during playing videos - and I also think that it put scratches on my games - not the normal wearout but somehow faster - I hardly could save my Vagrant Story disc with IsoBuster which doesn't run anymore on my PS1

The gas prices rise and rise, though I even have (no money for) a driver's licence I noticed that too. Is there marketing strategy from the OPEC countries or is there something real behind the fact, the oil will be depleted in a little than more than fitfy years (there are theories that this is wrong, I have no English source currently available ...) ?

The gas prices were today for 1,32 Euros per liter when I got off the boss and saw the gas station, that is not that much different from US dollars. When I think back the prices were as half as much three years ago, at leasr in Germany [...]

There are "rape oil" stations scattered, very rare here in some parts of Germany - but this might be an alternative. The downside is ... your car will smell like chippy

Thanks for opinions, but it might be that my pad still works - but the Saitek one from HyperHacker really might be to check out, when the current one is dieing (d-pad losing accuracy later).

I just play better and better - although I still suck in Tetris Attack compared to other ones, I constantly get better (Improved my time from about 44 to 37 minutes in Endless-to-99999-points).
But KP9000's theory is right for the pads I got until now - even some expensive pads might wear out pretty fast; on the other side friends recommend Microsoft's Sidewinder pads ... I don't like them too much anyway.

Can you post the entire message ?
Use the MS Knowledge Base to find solutions to that.

It named IRQs - you could try to switch any installed PCI devices - or if you have an IRQ conflict somewhere (this can be checked if you select "Run" from the Start Menu and type

msinfo32

Then check the Hardware Resources tab and the entry below it in the tree-structure.
Other than that I only can recommend to reinstall Windows XP - maybe a repair install can fix that. But having these nasty errors, I highly recommend you to backup your most important files; since the install may fail due to driver or any other problems and only resolving a full format and reinstallation of XP might help (do this only in the worst case and as a last solution).

Well, at least we "less good" players can be happy to for our improvements. And weird is the music change thingy in TA.

You know that glory-sounding music when you hit 99999. It triggers really only if you reach exactely 99999 (what is also the score limit as we know) and not 99997 or even 99998 - I experienced this for myself as I did another run (did them very often the last time), just check out this screen. I simply was too fast, my eyes already seemed to see "99999" and I wanted to kill myself -> too early as seen. And I got the ending music like when your reach something like 60000 or so.

Nothing too spectacular follows, I think two x8s and one x11. I often mess up my chains, so I could have far less weak x2s, x3s and x4s

Making 1UPs as valuable as Pieces of Heart from Zelda games ?
Hehe, this is just the case with really scattering the Yoshi Coins in very good hideouts in a level. So you even only need not to find ONE block containing a 1UP mushroom, but you need at least FIVE Yoshi Coins - and be maybe rewareded with additional ones which grant you a 1UP again

But I think the neccessary levels should be able to played through with sufficient lives.
Think about an arkwardly loooong level which is not only hard but you really have no "fast" 1UP to save yourself from dieing.

If you really have to save-state to preserve your last life in every level and the green shrooms are more valuable than the combination "key + keyhole" - then something went wrong

Basically this is something everyone should pay attention to (unless you want to make a _good_ joke thread, but not in that forum), but even if you stickied it - there are people who download ROM hacks don't read announcements like that one about how to deal with IPS patches in ROM Hacking's forum announcement.

And I think this forum is too overcrowded with Stickys. That doesn't go to the moderators since every Sticky here has its purpose - and if you will start editing threads, you will have a lot to do.

I might suggest, but that post might better fit into Help/Suggestions -> Adding a subforum for the Stickys and put them into there, to make _another_ Sticky, but that one might contain links to the previous Stickys:

So, let's say, we have "Sticky 01, Sticky 02, ... until Sticky 1F", then all present Stickys might be unstickied maybe moved to a safe place not messing up with the current places - and a NEW Sticky might point to the existing ones - this might save space.

If you placed this Sticky in top of it just now - then there is only two Stickys; and people might read that one faster than thinking "Pffft, why should I read dozens of threads when I just want to patch my ROM ?". As stated, the threads have their purpose, but I simply think in that number of stickied topics even that one will be not furhter noticed.

You might start out like Jesper's idea of wanting people to add a legend/symbol in front of his/her threads - so at least some of the people could classify the post even if the title was wrong:
[ASM] - ASM related question
[SS] - Screenshots and so on ...
So a "[SS] My hack ..." tells at least more than

"My hack ..."
So what might it be then ? His/Her hack is lost, dumped, evil, eats children ?

You might "deaccess" old one-exit-only levels, Glyph, but on the other hand - as long the hack is exciting - you also lock out people from playing them; and of course levels with two had to be "ready" to reenter anyway

You can at least make it even so, that even in easy levels it really requires _time_ to pick up a 1UP mushroom; so if you have a very easy but long level and the shroom is found near the end, most players won't to do that too long - alternatively disable START + SELECT from Lunar Magic; so they HAVE to finish the level. If you anyway put not much lives into the hack, it won't may sense to play even easy levels fifty times and the player will get bored

Well, it has an USB connector, so there might not be the need to install additional software
And I also have the Logitech Gaming Software on my PC, still from my Logitech Dual Action pad - it claims that these games can be played using a gamepad
Playing StarCraft BroodWar with a gamepad ... sure (Yes, I know about the N64 version as well)

Or maybe hack the 1UP's ASM routine and ... add a flag or something which remembers if those blocks got already "used" or not, thus reentering makes these 1UP blocks become brown "used" ones. To make it easier, later in the game there could be set a one-time flag (like with the Switch Palaces, you can play them only once and even the L&R code shouldn't work on them) which might reset all these blocks.
I really have no clue of ROM hacking, but since LM already expands a regular SMW ROM there should be space to add few pointers/flags to interfere with the 1UP block routine ...

Just think about the Locked Doors and Keys in Blocktool:
You have four different doors which, when once the "obtained/touched key block" flag is set, remain open - even if you go to another level on the world map. There need to be used a "reset block" which is also included - it sets the proper Locked Door back to "locked" - like placing an invisible row of tiles acting like 25 which the player has to pass.

Otherwise it might be not fair - just think, you are in the last three levels, you found all (few) 1UPs but cannot pass the hard levels due to missing lives
And that "reset level" might be entered only once then.
Yeah, it sounds dumb, but something other than making levels-with-save-options only playable once each (d'oh ) just is not coming into my mind, what could be done without hacking the game
