What about me? In just a few minutes, I went from my daily GunBound fun to "oh damn what the hell everything is gone I got no backup what am I going to do I'll have to start over and I'll be busy all week-end so no time to play anymore damn daaaaaaaamn" But on the good side, this brought me back to the board ...

Welcome back, but I don't even remember you

It's like the difference between audio CD's and audio cassettes, except with video

But I have yet to watch any movie on DVD All I have is the DVD drive on my computer, we don't have any DVD player ...

I don't really mind anyway, I was pretty far behind in the tape -> CD transition too

It's very well possible, it would just need to track all the views (at least up to 24 hours ago, as keeping them all would just make the table grow huge) ...

There's already something new in stats.php that lists the totals for every day, though, and that includes the view count

Must be 18 frames per second ... that's the highest that browsers will let them animate, but it does look pretty smooth

He smashes and kicks into the door, shoots on it with a gun then a bazooka, hits several times with a big hammer, then a sword, then opens his head to shoot projectiles, breaths fire (?), throws a table, shoots lasers, explodes, summons a monster, smashes into the door again, then morphs into something big to make a large ray of explosion ...

... and then the door, still intact, opens.

Very, very well done, though ... even for black & white and stick figure animation

And I'll just pretty much repeat what I said the previous times this was asked (although I hadn't seen this again for a while ):

If you store one "read date" per thread per user (can't think of a more efficient way, except maybe cookies), the table would grow pretty quickly ... with the current amounts here, the table would currently have a maximum of 194565 values stored, and that's after only 4 days ... on the previous board, it would have been around 60 million

Then again, I could make it only store a value when you specifically mark a thread read (when you enter the thread ), and make "Mark forum read" remove all "thread read" values for the forum, so the actual table size would be much smaller ... probably still at least in the thousands or more, though ...

Weeeeeeeeeeeelcome, deeeeeeeeceeeeeeeeeehiguy ... ok, that's enough with the long e's

So are you one of the mighty bosses from FF6? Since Kefka brought you here ... but I don't remember seeing a dciguy01 in FF6

Ok, in all seriousness, welcome to the recently reborn Acmlm's Board, and have fun

I can add a link at the top (next to Logout | Edit profile | etc.), I guess, but I don't know about adding the whole thing or a popup ... you normally end up in index.php so often that you should normally see new private messages pretty fast, or at least that's how it's always been for me

Ok, I guess I didn't look hard enough

#24:
20 + 7 - (24 / 8) = 24

#25:
21 - 4 - 17 + 24 = 24

Now that was much easier

#26:
2*10 + 14 - 10 = 24

#27:
(20 - 7 - 12) * 24 = 24

I think that'll be all for now

Increase the padding a bit so the text doesn't go so close to the borders, but otherwise it's a lot better than earlier ... and it fits just fine in 800x600, so it's not too big

Wooster even had the male blue color at the start and everyone thought it was a guy ... not to mention "Wooster" is a male character from Mario comics

As for crazy posting ... well, I can hardly even reach Reinfors Syndrome when I'm in the mood and the board is active To get Wooster Syndrome, I'd need to find lots of interesting threads to post in while having a few spreeing threads around (even the Wooster spree wasn't enough for me) ... so 1000 within a day would be impossible for me, unless I totally spam or just cheat

How to fix it:

In register.php, look for this ...

if($action=='register'){

... and change $action to $_POST[action], to make it specify that the "action" variable is coming from the register form and not the URL Sure, it's still possible to just go in the Register page and flood there by registering the normal way, but at least it'd be slower and more time consuming ...

Of course, that'd have to be done on every AcmlmBoard he decides to flood, and whatever flood did get done must be cleaned up (should be easy, just a DELETE query)

Nice Mario World hacking did get pretty advanced ... Lunar Magic 1.0 was already great, and just kept getting better with each new version, and the hacks are quite impressive now (although I should really play them ), so it does deserve to be talked about

Yep, EGM ... it had a few pages about ROM hacking and translations, and it mentioned Challenge Games at the top of one page, with a screenshot from Strange Mario Bros and Metroid Challenge ...

I think that was in 2000, I remember I mentioned it on my site at the time

I tried it yesterday ... VirtuaNES had the same minor graphic problems, Nestopia almost had it right but was shaking a bit and then got stuck

So FCEUd (or FCEU) is still the most accurate ... another good thing with that one is that it supports all (or most) of the sound extension chips (VRC6, VRC7, N106, FME-07, etc.), even those that NotSo Fatso recently added support for
