I have sent you the Log Cabin set: A rip of certain graphics from SMAS (namely, the SMB3 doomship logs/background, the SMB2 crates and SMB3 Castle Lantern), combined with some original graphics (most notably the windows for the background).

You need to change the download name of Log Cabin to lowercase though...it gives a 404 when you click it directly, but if you change the L and C to lowercase, it works.

It lets you take Yoshi into castles with a certain variable, C2 if I remember correctly.

This should be useful for some hackers...*coughsendycough* But you'd have to insert many, many for it to be effective.

These are most excellent, as usual. Keep up the good work.

1: Ugly Background 2: Floating water? 3: Looks fine... 4: Nice palette. 5: Just doesn't look right... 6: Same as above 7: Okay. 8: Good. 9: Yes, yes... 10: The "white outline" looks a little too weird... |

Such a situation would really depend. For the former, I would help the person if not saving him or her could result in manslaughter charges somehow. Otherwise, I would probably save the dog. As for the latter, it would probably be around the amount of an entire colony.

If it triggers the secret exit consistently, change the standard exit to that of the exit behind that number. In other words, if the event is 1E, change the standard exit to 1D. Considering you have no standard exit for that level, everything should be perfectly fine. Hopefully.

You need to open the "8x8 overworld tile selector." Upon doing so, the tiles used for the title screen and layer 3 stuff will appear there, and you can begin editing. (edited by asdf on 07-08-04 02:43 PM) |

Keikonium, it may be adviseable for you to fix Mario's palette as well. And as for the hunched over Goblin, it may be because of yet another palette mis-match in Lunar Magic.

The fat shyguy may also be a Dino-Rhino replacement. Dunno about the Dino-Torch Shyguys though...

It took a mere Google search to end up at the real forums for me. Cheap, yeah, I know.

I've had vanilla in those small rolls, and they taste most excellent. I voted vanilla.

Super Mario World 2 is the best. Period. Excellent music, a funny first fight, great SFX...that fight ruled.

Excellent, as with many of your other hacks. The best are the "swamp" level (screenshot 6) and the sky fortress (screenshot 8). Personally, I like the effect of the palette in the sixth screenshot. You are probably the best "average" hacker around; that is; a hacker who only works with an editor, and doesn't use ASM or anything else.

I too favor Gens over Kega. Gens even runs Mega CD as stated by Proto K. You can use it to play Sonic CD and stuff. Although Kega seems to be slightly faster on a slower system, it should be no problem for you. |
