Kyouji: I wasn't able to get around to posting my list last night, but I will do it when I get home for sure.
Also, I haven't been able to find the Address to change the Rex's starting form to its second form, that was also something I was hoping to come across, but didn't.
And for some odd reason, a lot of the Addresses that I found had the same kind of effects on the Rex's as many other Addresses that I found.

I also found one that would make them unstompable by doing a spin jump on them.
Instead, you bounce as if you landed on them with a regular jump.
I even found on that would make them jump every time they touch the ground (with the ability to easily increase or decrease the jump height).

And also one to increase or decrease their walking speed by a lot.
Even one that would allow them to walk through walls.

(I'ts not finished yet, but it's meant to be for a Liquid-Crystal-like level)
It will also take up 3 Palettes.

The only reason it uses Level # 's is so that it can have a name on the OV.

Yea, I wish I knew more about all of the sprites. Well, if someone can find any address that affects the koopa's programming, then I can find most of the rest of the data, as I did for the Rexes.

You'll need to rework the gfx a little if you change some of the 8x8 Tile pointers (the addresses that tell the Rex which 8x8 Tiles to use in its different positions/animations).

I had to use some of the addresses that changed the 8x8 tiles that are being used, but that was for a partial squash animation that I made because I made my Goomba take 2 hits to kill.
If you change some of these 8x8 Tile pointers, you may have to make a custom annimation in the levels he's being used in to make it look like he's walking (I had to do that with mine). I know that's not what you meant when you mentioned that he wasn't moving, but I'm just stating this for anyone who wasn't aware of it.

In your case, you must have changed something like his speed or even something else that could have caused him to stop moving (you should only use the values that I've supplied [not saying that you didn't, this is just a note for anyone] with the addresses that go along with them, if you try any differen't values that I don't have listed, either the game will freeze, or you will come across a different value that has the exact same effect).

For the addresses that have the same effect as other addresses, I think I put the best ones near the top (I have to check on that).

I can rewrite it so it's a little easier to understand, I could even make it a small package of HTML documents (the way that many people have made help files) that you can download and I can put links to any addresses that are similar, rather than having them mixed in with the addresses that have the best effects (I have them ordered by ascending addresses right now).

Anybody heard of HackMan (a free prfesionally desinged Hex editor, it even comes with a Dissasembler that has support for more than just the Snes).
It also has many other features.

If you think you want to try it out, here's the link: (I'll have to get the link while at school, my computer can't search using Google right now because of some stupid LOP files, the're like viruses that affect your internet)

If you search "Hackman" or "Hackman Hex Editor" in Google, you'll be sure to find it near the top of the first page.

I've went throught 4 Gravis Game Pad Pro's (between both me and my brother [2 each] ), and really hate Gravis now.
They've always broke after about 5-7 months.
I hate when companies intentionally desing their products to break, the only way that'll help them make more money is if there's enought stupid people out there who will keep buying them time after time. I'm done with Gravis for good.

Go to hell Gravis, you can also suck my big fat hairy balls while your at it!

Ok, I feel a little better now.

Hey everyone, does anyone know if there's a way to convert a "3D Game Studio" map file to a .pk3 (a .pk3 is a Quake 3 map file)? Or is there a way to convert a "Cosmos" (a much better 3D Game making program than 3D Game Studio) map file to a .pk3. I was wanting to know this because all of the Level Editing programs that I've found for Quake 3 really suck.

3D Game Studio uses both .wmb or .wmp file extentions.
I'm not sure which file extentions Cosmos uses.

Edit: I found out that a .pk3 is just a type of zip file.

I hate the characters on Diddy Kong Racing, the only one that even fits is Diddy (only because it's called Diddy Kong Racing). All the rest of them were made up when DKR was made (and if they are from other games as well, they weren't from very well known games). They should have had some of the other characters from DKC 1, 2 or 3, such as the Kongs and Kremlins.

I personaly prefer MK64 for obvious reasons (it's more Mario-like, and it uses Characters and types of Levels from other Mario-games).

It looks really good. But I don't like the way the camera changes angles when you move. Using the Up Button for jump is also annoying, and using the Space Bar to shoot fireballs is annoying too. They should make it so 2 of the buttons on the Numpad control your Jumping and shooting Fireballs (Becuase I'm always having to cross my arms over to make it feel a little more like a controler. Movement should by controled by your left hand, and Jumping and Shooting etc. should be controled by your right hand .... why do people setup controls like that anyway? It's annoying and hard to play with and I see people doing it all the time)

Edit: Well, I beat it, it looks good so far.

Something inside the chip actually seems to screw up. I also had another controller for Snes that did the same kinds of things, but worse. Also, after the Gravis controller started screwing up, any computer I tried using it on would detect it only some of the times, and if I had another Gravis controller (one that was still working) in my computer at the same time, the broken one would start to make the still-working one screw up too (just while the broken one was still in, but thankfully it wasn't afterwards too).

The reason I bought more than one was because I used to have an older Gravis Gamepad Pro, and after that one broke, I bought a newer desing (they looked the same, exept the older one had a switch on the back that the newer one doesn't have).

Also, my brother and I bought them at the same time, that's why we went through so many of them without knowing that they would break (it was a chance we took, and a bad one).

I'm starting to lose interest in SMW hacking too (just at the moment), The main reason for this is because I can't make certain things in my hack because Lunar Magic still can't change some of the important things. An editor isn't complete if only most of it's done. Another reason is that it takes to long to make custom Gfx, and Music editing isn't yet availible. Anyway, I'll probally take some time off from making my hack for a little while, but I'll come back to it for sure in a little bit.

Also, I've been taking a lot of interest in 3D Game Making right now, I plan to make a 3D-looking (2D platform style) Mario Game some time. It'll look much better than all those other homebrew 3D games too. The 3D Game Maker I'm using is the most Profesionally desinged one that I've ever seen. It allows you to make 3D Objects using up to 1000 sides, so the Objects will be really smooth, instead of being all blocky like in other 3D games that I've seen (it even allows you to bend the objects in several ways, this comes in really handy for making bent Pipes like in Mario 3, and DW: TLC). The Objects will also use more than one texture, as this Editor alows you do that. It also has hundreds of other features that I've never even seen in another 3D Game Making Program, and many options that I've never even heard about before.

The program is called "Cosmos" and it's made by "Radish Works". This one is definatly not a waste of time like 3D Game Studio and others like it.

And there's a really good tutorial to go along with it.

Create a whole Engine? Wouldn't a 3D Game Making program do that for you, and all you'd have to do is insert scripts to control the characters and some other objects?
