Well what do'ya know. That's a rare occasion. Also know that the Graphical data is not placed in a way that'll get displayed properly in the Tile, in every area of the game. If graphical data starts on an even Addess (XXXXEX : E=Even), it will be displayed with in one Tile,... if it starts on an odd Address (XXXXOX O=Odd), it will be displayed with in two Tiles. The reason for this is because each Tile is 32 Bytes,... and this is all assuming that Nintendo placed them at Addresses that end in XXXXX0,... otherwise it won't look right at all by the way the current Tile Editors are displaying them. Edit: Ok, you can shift the display of the Bytes in most Tile Editors (or you could organize the data yourself,... which would take a while). Not really, because you can shift the data manually (and in a seperate file if you please),... it takes a little more time that way, but not by much (unless you're doing it for the whole game). I've never used it with all of the Gfx work that I've done (didn't seem limited to me that way). | |||

Nah, that's only that part of the level. Rather than being wrecked, it looks more like a fleet of ships,... a lost and lonley fleet of ships (since it's supposed to have been stranded for a while). Yea, when I get a little time to work on it (because of school). I'll try to help you sometime this weekend. As for what it will take to add the values to your timer, you simply just need to change the RAM address that it is writing to (and for some of the things, you'll need to add a couple Instructions so that it writes to more than one RAM Address). |

You may not want to do that, because it uses Letters from a complete Font which is used in other areas of the game. | |||

That would require some reprogramming. I don't know if I could get them to be exactly the same, but definately close. I haven't had time to explore any programming that involves Sound/Music, so I can't give you the specifics as to the Notes and Instruments that can be used (there could be some other factors to this as well, but I'm not really awake right now, so I can't think about it in detail at the moment), but they will be simillar if not the same. @ Darkflight: um, that is not clearly impossible,... it's not even hard at all (you really just have to know what you're doing, that's all) (edited by Atma X on 03-13-05 12:43 AM) (edited by Atma X on 03-13-05 12:43 AM) |

Though in reality, that wouldn't be very hard to create (as for the 3D part, that's already been done,... as I'm currently working on a 3D hack, and it's succeding very well).
