Ok, I fixed your game and it's on it's way.

There seemed to be a major bug somewhere in your rom, but it's fixed now.

I don't know what the bug was, but there was definatly something wrong with it.
And the "Torn rom" had Levels in it that were not in the IPS, and the IPS had levels that weren't in the "Torn rom".

I sent an E-Mail with a couple of pictures.
(if it didn't send, let me know)

Which one's go in the actual rom?

Oh, BTW: The "Torn rom" wouldn't open in any Emulator. But I could open it in LM.

Thanks MajinBlueDragon, I'll take a look at these.

Oh and also, how do you find the End of the Pattern Pointer Data and Music Data?

Edit: Oh BTW, do you have MSN Instant Messanger, because I'll need to talk to you a little bit about the music editing whenever your availible (tomarrow would be best for me, and that will give you more time to figure some more stuff out).

I won't use AIM, because I just tried Installing it again (I had it once before a long while back) last night and got a Ton of Trojans and Spyware installed as a result of it, so I don't trust it anymore.

Level 104 works just fine, but it looked like he had some of his levels going in some kind of order. But I'm just going to make it exactly as it was, but without the bug of course.

Your welcome, I'll copy your stuff back to a new Rom for you to get you started again, so you do the extra work. And you can keep Yoshi's as 107, it's just a another level with a different number.
I don't mind having to copy the data back, it won't even take me that long to do it, but the only reason it's taken as long as it has already, is because I've had to do some work outside.

I never thought of that.
BTW, How do you use the Music Editor in Hyrule Magic.
I found almost everything, except a place to edit the Notes of a song (what the song is actually composed of).

I would have never firugered out what he was actually trying to say.

Skateboarder11: Right now, the only animations that can be made to the Status Bar (Action Panel) , are palette animations. And that is determined by animating palettes 1& 2 for each level that you want them to be animated in. And (obviously) you only need to animate the colors that the Status Bar's gfx tiles are using (the're the colors that are near the end of the Palette, somewhere around colors B-F, and not all of them in that range.

I'm sorry I've taken a while to get the ExGfx (from SMB3 OV World 1) to you, I've been a little cought up with things the past couple of days, but I've got lots of time now. Do you still want me to make it for you, or have you already done it yourself by now?

Try this (for the X Speed).
Here's what I found

In ROM: $8094 is the X Speed for going Left, $8095 for going right. Basically it takes Mario's direction from $76 and goes to $8094+direction. Fireball shoot code is around $80C9. $FEB6 (SNES format) is the sound effect #, 2 and 3 bytes ahead of that are the address to put it in (byteswapped).

Yea, that's because the ExGfx catches people's eye, and the level desing isn't really seen untill they play the hack.
If the Graphics don't look good, most people don't download it because it doesn't seem to make a great impression just by looking at it.

Is there any program that you know of, that can tell you which Addresses are different between 2 similar files.

Edit: BTW, Is there a way to import an SPC into Hyrule Magic? (I don't think there is, but I figured I'd just find out if there is or not for sure)

And also, I did what you said about editing the Music, but I still don't see what I'm looking for (Editing the Notes that the song is actually composed of). I saw a bunch of different commands though. (Set Loop Point, Set Intruments, etc.)

The got the idea for the Goomba's gfx from another Mario toy that I have, but I did also use the SMB1 Goomba as a guideline (just to look at).

I would say Toad. He's got the best playcontrol overall, and he's much faster too.

I really don't like using Luigi because he's quite slow, he takes a longer time to jump, and land again (although the hight is nice), and he easily slides off vines.

Mario's my good for most things.

And Peach is pretty good, but lacks some speed.
