I think that saying LM was a bad idea just because some idiots don't know how to use it, is like saying that ANY Program is a bad thing, because the're are many programs that a lot people don't know how to use, and never will know (no matter how stupid a person is or not, there's always going to be some program that they'll try to use, and won't be able to figure out how the fuck it works, no matter how hard they try).

In other words: Some will create a bunch of crap, and some won't. You can make the program itself idiot-proof, but you can't make the stuff that is produced idiot-proof, because it's up to the creator (hacker) to make the art (the hack in this case), other wise there wouldn't be a point to the program in the first place.

This is the way humans work: Each person is different, and will do different things (and some will do stupid things no matter how many times you smack them on the head for it ),... learn to live with it

I would say the second one,... and for the colors, you might need to use a seperate palette for some of the Tiles (that may or may not work, because it might conflict with some of the Tiles that need the lightert color in it's palette, but you can always try it).

For one of the palettes, you'll need the two blue colors that are already there, and a darker blue color (instead of black).

And for the other palette, you'll need need to keep the two brightest blue colors, and have an even brighter blue for your third color (instead of having the dark color)

Try that, and if it doesn't work, then I'll try to think of something better.
Good luck with that.

Here's why all of those 'coincidences' occur...

Yoshi's Island broke a lot of ground in the Mario games.

First game ever to include:

Red Coins
Pound the Ground
The modern Pyrahna Plant look
The modern Magikoopa style (In Mario World 1, they didn't quite look right)
Yoshies throwing eggs
The Mario Bros. parents (actually, the ONLY game thus far)
Use of the FX chip in sprites (This is how sprites are stretched, bended, grown, etc.)
Baby Bowser and Baby Mario, of course

Probably some other things, too.

Yoshi's Island was the peak of SNES platforming at the time. DKC 2 was pretty good, but...The level designs in Yoshi's Island are just more insightful, I think.

As far as 'bonus music'...What are you talking about?

The Starman song? That was in Super Mario Bros. 1. Mario 64 didn't have a rating system like Yoshi's Island. You collected Stars and Coins, yes, but it's not quite the same...

Um...As far as the same team...

They're developed by Nintendo...

Nintendo Presents

Um...Other games that aren't made directly by Nintendo are often noted otherwise. The Mario RPGs, for example.

Squaresoft
Intelligent Systems
Alpha Dreams

But in Mario Sunshine, it's just 'Nintendo.'

In Wind Waker, it's just Nintendo, I'm pretty sure.

In Four Swords, (at least the GBA one, I don't know about the GCN version) it was Capcom.

Actually, Red coins first appeared in Super Mario World, and they also have wings, but they don't actually have any special purpose
(I'm not 100% sure if they're used in any levels, but they're in the Sprite list)

Playstation 3:
You can use up to Four "8x8 Tile Slots" per level (any Four from the list: Gfx # 0-31, ExGfx # 80-FFF) for the FG/BG Graphics, and Four more "8x8 Tile Slots" for the Sprite's Graphics, and one "8x8 Tile Slot" for the "Animation/ExAnimation Graphics.

So there are 9 that can be loaded in any Level.

BTW: In the First FG/BG "8x8 Tile Slot", there is the Game's Regular Animations, and they take up Half of an "8x8 Tile Slot", so technically you only get Three and a Half "8x8 Tile Slots" to make your FG/BG graphics.
And also, on the Second "8x8 Tile Slot", the Game has the Berry's and ON/OFF Switche's Graphics (which can't be modified either), so subtract 12 more 8x8 Tiles from your availible space (12 8x8 Tiles = 3 16x16 Tiles)

So if the 2 ExGfx Sets your using don't take up too much room, then you can use both of them (and if they don't use up too much Palette room.

And if the Both Sets are too much, then maybe you can just use parts of the Graphics from Both Sets.

And to answer you question: Yes, you can mix and match,... if you have enough room. There are a total of 436 FG/BG 8x8 Tiles that you can modify,... and you should leave one as a blank Tile, so you really have 435 (it's best to leave the 8x8 Tile # F8 as the Blank square)

Knuck: I was spamming eh,... I suppose it was (according to the rules stated in the FAQ), since it was off topic.
I could have sent you a PM, but I figured it would be much more convienent for you (and everyone else) to find it here (since they can't read your PMs directly, what better way could there be!?!?! )

Here's a better way to aviod this from now on:
NEVER SAY YOU LOVE ME AGAIN!!!!!! (through your "Location", or ANY other part of your Profile, or directly)

(don't say you love me, and I won't have any reason to Spam,... so in other words, Don't be a Faggot!)

Oh and BTW, don't try to act like a mod (by telling me to stop spamming)

Don't worry, it took me about 2 and a half years before I discovered it (although I started using LM since version 1.30, so it probably wasn't in there yet )

I just rolled/flipped my car today (not sure which, because my car was facing the opposite direction,... maybe a little of both) and it feels really odd. It feels like it never even happened, as if it were just a bad dream, but I still know that it's true. It all seems like a blurr, and I can't even seem to remember what exactly happened (at least not in detail that is).
I never went unconscious, and only got a small cut on my arm, so I'm very thankful for that, but I'm still a little freaked about the whole thing. Also when it flipped, I landed rightside up in the passengers side of the car,... (basically sitting on the inside of the roof) I don't know how the hell it happened, but I think I'm very glad for that,...and luckily, I wasn't wearing my seat beat. I really can't imagine what would have happened if I had it on, because after the Car stopped, and judging by how I landed, I think I might have been in mid air as the car rolled over (it just rolled half of a time, and stopped after that).

Well, I have to go right at the moment, but I'll talk about it some more in a bit.
(my car might be driveable still , I don't think I totaled it)

I was going down a dirt/graveled road and I cut the corner while going to fast, and I made that part alright, but as soon as I came around the corner to the strait part of the road, I was starting to loose control (I was fishtailing) and regained control for a second, but then I think I hit a small bump (it was a buch of little rivity-like bumps) in the road with one of my tires and lost control again and went off the side of the road and rolled/flipped the car at that point (the car some how turned around and rolled upsidedown).

They had a Dodge Ram, I'm not sure what year it was, but the body was made of Steel, so it was an Older Truck (maybe from the 80's). It was also lifted off the ground pretty high (that seemed to be how it was originally designed).
So to get the car on it's wheels again, they put some kind of band around it that had a chain attached to it, then put it in 4 Wheel Drive and pulled it right up without a problem.

As for what happened afterwards:
I'm perfectly fine (I didn't even get thrown around at all, it was as if I was practicaly invincible for a second and unaffected by gravity), but as for the car,... it's roof got smashed in at the front,... but the guys who helped me get the car up, also pushed the roof back up, so it's mostly just dented a lot and the frame is slightly bent. And the lower area of the car was basically untouched, it just has a few small/medium size dents on the sides.

Bella: That really sucks about the RV and the Car (and the coincidence of how it happend to the same RV which had the blow out on the same day). That kinda reminds me of what happened yesterday. I was in the car with my friend Eric, and he mentioned again to me how he's never really wrecked before (except for one time, but he only had to replace the front tires, and there was no other damage at all), and I told him not to jinx himself by talking about it so much, but for some reason, it seemed that bad luck came my way. Also yesterday, my friend Lizxz ("Liz") was joking by saying that he might end up on the news in some horrible wreck or something,... because he's driven while being Stoned and even on Shrooms many times before, and has always driven perfectly,... yes, drugs are bad, but he's going to be quiting pretty soon (he hasn't done anything other than those two types,... and getting drunk, but that's it). It's all so weird, because today, I went for a fun little drive around my neighborhood, and this is what happens (not so fun anymore ), right after the stuff my friends and I were joking about yesterday.

Well, it looks like I won't have anything to drive for quite a while .

I hate to make Driving sound like a scary thing for you. But if you don't speed very much (especially on dirt roads, and hills) and you're good at paying close attention, then you should be just fine (never go over 10 MPH on paved roads, and don't go over the speed limit at all on dirt roads, even if you feel like you can handle it easily,... and go extra slow on hills, whether or not they're dirt or paved). Also, don't make it a habbit of slaming on the brakes (when driving on icy roads or on sharp curves), that's usually one of the worst things that you can do (I didn't do it, and I'm not sure if it was better or worse this time), because your car may easily spin out of control or even roll (unless your going strait, then your car will just skid forward a little and stop). It's usually best to slow down as much as you can, but not until your tires stop spinning, because then they'll just slide.

Hiryuu: Yea, no one was around with me either, so at least it's only my own damage that I have to pay for.

The only way you could have fixed it manually was to know what address the byte was at, and to change the byte's number back to what it was.

Black Lord: LM must do some recoding and probably makes that byte become unused (I'm not certain on that, but that's the only thing I can think of that makes sense).
