Exactly.
Ness has a few good moves... all of his aerials are excellent. Especially his back+a which does great damage (though little range), and his up+a, which can juggle most characters incredibly well, if you use it right after your double-jump (using an attack cancels out the movement of the jump, so you dont go so high. You can jump, double jump, do the attack, immedietly land, and jump again to continue the juggle). His up tilt is alright as well, as well as his forward smash, but his other tilts and smashes are not to be mentioned.
All of his B moves are terrible. PK Flash wont hit anything unless you are edge-guarding someone who doesn't know how to air dodge. PK Thunder is weak and leaves you wide open normally. If you use it to shoot yourself (AKA PK Cannonball), it's just way too easy to block or counter, though powerfull if you manage to connect.
As you can see, Ness has potential, along with all characters (even Pichu and Bowser have a few great attacks. Pichu's upsmash? Bowser's aerial forward a and up+b?), but overall, he pales in comparison to many of the other characters.
(Random tidbit: Ness's recovery is better than some think. While the PK Cannonball itself is terrible, his air dodge is more than sufficient. His double jump can get him fairly close to the stage, and then air dodge. Ness has an amazing ability to grab the edge while being a full body length away from it.)

Of course, with the DS library becoming more solid, it wouldn't be such a bad addition. Probably not *that* hard to localize either once you get some copyright issues out of the way. (Like DDR)

IIRC, DS games are being imported quicker than any other system thus far. There are a lot of games out in Japan than people want over here. While a few of them will eventually be translated, a bunch probably never will make it over here. (Jump Super Stars probably wont. Ouendan wont. Band Brothers and Egg Monster Heroes are still "maybe"s)

Hm. Seems that Sneasel, Persian, and Swellow are also faster than it. The more you know. Still, it's pretty damn fast.

A few of my friends use Falco a lot. He's pretty tough. Beatable, but I fear what would happen if they master the art of the reflector, or SHL (Short-hop laser. Do a small jump, start firing your laser, fast fall so that the laser fires just before you land. Landing cancels the end animation of the laser, so you can immedietly jump and do another one)

Plus Julius mode was awesome in AoS, anyway. Can only get better in the sequal.

I agree to this statement.
Then, we could play Mario Kart.

X4 weaknesses don't really matter much... most X2 attacks would kill Jumpluff in one hit outside of a subsitute. Hell, neutral attacks would do a fair chunk of damage.

You're joking right? I've used PK Thunder countless times for recovery, it's kept me from losing. It's also useful for striking midair opponents, I've managed to KO this way several times. It's none too hard and overall it's just shown itself to be deserving of <3 with a little practice.

PK Cannonball for recovery is like Fox's Fire Fox. It goes a fair distance, but is ridiculously easy to edge guard against. Also, Ness's recovery is harder to aim. As I said before, its better to just rely on his double jump and use an air dodge. Only attempt a cannonball if you cant make it with an air dodge. Pray that you manage to catch the edge before your opponent spikes you.
As for an attack move, its just all around weak. It's fairly easy to block or air dodge it depending on where you are, and then Ness is wide open. Even if it does hit, it's not exactly powerfull, though it sends the enemy in an odd direction. Can sometimes start a combo if you are really lucky.

In other news, theres a Smash Bros tournament at my local EB, tomorrow.
Too bad I'm working.
I'm actually kinda sick anyways, so I tried to call in sick, but apparently theres absolutely noone who can take it if I don't go. So I guess I gotta miss that tournament, unless I feel even more sick tomorrow.

If you guys are interested in the New Super Mario Bros, check out Super Princess Peach.

No, seriously. I'm not even kidding.
The concept itself is pretty bad, but it actually looks like a really excellent 2D platformer. Reminds me of SMW2, Yoshi's Story, in a lot of ways. It looks colourfull and fun.
Check out the awesome video.
Like, right here.

As for the actual topic, I don't believe this is the end of LoZ. I mean, why would they get rid of their most popular series? Thats retarted. They'll probably just change the formula a little bit. How, though, I have no idea.

Hell, look at Exeggutor. Weak to fire. Weak to flying. Weak to ice. Weak to dark. Weak to ghost. Double weak to bug. People still use it, though not as much as Gyarados.

Gyarados is a pain because nobody brings it out against something with an electric attack. If you switch to an electric type, it uses dragon dance, and its already too late. Earthquake and Hidden Power Flying can sweep fairly easily, especially if they get off more than one DD.

I don't really like Petey Pirahna either. I mean, he's fine as the occasional boss, but they didn't need to throw him into shit like Mario Kart and Mario Golf.

Though, I did otherwise love Double Dash, possibly moreso than any previous Mario Kart. It was all around beautiful and fun. Repetitive didn't even matter. Me and a group of friends (either three of my friends or my sister and two of her friends, didnt matter) would just play constant Vs matches at Baby Park, and it never got old.

Hidden Power is random on every pokemon. It can be anything on any pokemon.
It's based off your Pokemon's IV's... basically, it's Hidden Power is determined when it's caught or when it hatches from an egg. Its power can be anywhere between I think 40 and 70, and its type can be absolutely anything.
Through constant breeding, you can eventually get a decent strength HP of whatever type you want. In Gyarados's case, Hidden Power Flying is often chosen, to get a boost from Gyarados's flying type.

Does it´s nature matter. Like Modest? And I don´t even have a Stantler. Maybe I´ll try to get one. If it´s good.

The nature gives different stat boosts or drops. In Modest's case, your special attack is a little bit higher, but attack is lower. Good for Lanturn.
Lanturn is good for a few things... for one, it resists both ice attacks and electric attacks, making it one of the few pokemon that can withstand the ice beam/thunderbolt combo.

That Stantler sounds alright, but I like Dunsparse for UU haxing. Thunder Wave, Attract, and headbutt away. Thanks to its ability, serene grace, headbutt alone will make them flinch 60% of the time. You'll probably go first thanks to Thunder Wave, but just switch out if you are still slower. Fourth attack can be whatever you want... Confuse Ray works, but I'd rather throw on Ancientpower. 20% win-game rate.
