Looks cool. Does it make it so that whenever he passes by things, you can see right through megamans body at whatever background is behind him ?

Not for me. I'm an administrator on http://www.alienaa.com/
So the answer for me would be no.
My MB post counter on that site is at 17413 right now. Been apart of that website for over 4 years.

But honestly, Acmlm is my 2nd or 3rd.

nope, sorry. No such person or account name.
That sounds like a japanese name. We do have some people on the site that are from japan originally..but not very many out of the 13,000+ people currently registered.

No offense or anything, and i don't want to sound rude, but ..i kinda don't like this one ...i'm not saying it's bad or anything. Just, kinda don't like the idea of everything being mostly the same solid color. :-S

But when I was editing my profile, i noticed this:
User Rating: 10 (130/130, 1 votes)

I just want to really make sure so that I understand ... that basically means someone rated me because they liked me ? .
Kind of like those dating sites or places where you post pictures of yourself and people rate you of how good or bad you look ....something like that ?

What does the 130/130 mean ? :-\

Yeah, you shouldn't worry it, especially if it's low like I head when I first got here. Oh yeah, if you want to know what 130/130 means, it means that a Level 13 person voted for you. All you have to do is take away the 0 to see the level of the guy who voted for you. Once a lot of people start to vote for you though, it'll be hard to tell the levels of the guys who rated you. Only admins can view votes and votes you made.

Ohhh, cool. That's exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks.

Since nobody answered this part, I will.

The rating is based on the person/people who rate you. The person who rated you gave you a 10, so that gave you 130 points out of a possible maximum of 130 points. If they had rated you anything less than a 10, then your rating would have been xxx/130. The xxx depends on what they rated you.

The maximum points that you can get from a 10 rating vary from user to user. The number is based on length of time registered and activity. Someone who just registered 24 hours ago will have a lower maximum points than someone who registered 8 months ago.

Thanks for the info. I'm not going all crazy about it or anything, it was just something that put question marks in my head. ..I already understood the the amount of "votes" part. Just that odd 3 digit number was the thing i didn't get. Oh well but i see now

But thanks for telling me. I appreciate it.

In FCEUXD ....
When I'm using the trace logger/code,data logger ...and how in the hex editor that code and data will be color coded ..

It doesn't say precisely in the readme file which color means what for data and code
I've found 3 colors so far ..
gold, blue, and green
I'm assuming the gold and blue are the data and code ..but i'm not sure which one means what. ...gold = data ? .. blue = code ... green = ???

Ahh okay.
So green = both
blue = (big guess) ....umm ...data ?
gold = (guess) code?
Even the FCEUXD SP 1.05 readme txt file doesn't specifiy.
gotta make sure.

Edit: anyway, i'll figure it out myself.
I've got just only a couple more minor things to ask though ..but i don't want to flood the board with question after question. Only just things I've been wondering...

That's cool man. Although it may only just be a simple lives counter change as your first attempt, I totally respect that.

I mean, when I started ASM in the past month with megaman games...i started off with learning how to control the lives you start off with too. Since I knew absolutely no ASM ..but I'm really learning alot now thanks to reading a chat log from Dahrk Diaz' website. (and reading/understanding 6502 tutorials).

Keep at it and you'll eventually learn more too.

Its just freaking insane. Also duel monsters is barely in the series. Anyway anyone else know more about the series? Maybe a place I can get all the episodes? It hasn't been made here in america(too violent) so its not illegal. Anyone else want to add anything I'm missing?

Did I mention Yami yugi is crazy(like kill you in a moments notice crazy)

Season 0 ? ...the heck ??
Never heard of such a thing..i'm familiar with everything else though.
1 - duelist kingdom (the tournament with pegasus
2 - the whole marik saga (part 1)
3 - Enter the Shadown Relm (short season involving the Virtual World with the green haired kid Noah..
4 - Enter the shadow Relm (marik saga part 2/battle city finals)
5 - Waking the Dragons (my favorite season )
6 - Grand Championship (just recently ended on KidsWB)
7 - Dawn of the Duel (now airing on KidsWB) ... ..this'll be interesting ..the final season of the series

Are you by any chance using 0599 as your Write breakpoint in the debugger Datahax ?
Cause that seems to be a pointer for the lives counter, and I don't get the same results as you do.

(i'm not really sure how to know when to work with the "read" or "execute" yet )

I must be doing something wrong.

Cause, when I do a common write to 0599 ...it doesn't actually snap when starting the game and how it loads the 4 lives that you see in the bottom right hand corner of the game.

only snaps when I die so I end up with ...generally around this area:

$E4B6:A9 FF LDA #$FF
$E4B8:8D 5F 05 STA $055F = #$00
$E4BB:4C 5D E4 JMP $E45D
$E4BE:CA DEX
$E4BF0 16 BNE $E4D7
$E4C1:CE 99 05 DEC $0599 = #$04
$E4C4:10 06 BPL $E4CC
$E4C6:4C 66 E5 JMP $E566
$E4C9:AD 96 05 LDA $0596 = #$2F
$E4CC:8D 97 05 STA $0597 = #$2F

I know it's going to "DEC"rement the #$04 by 1 ..to 03 within this line:
$E4C1:CE 99 05 DEC $0599 = #$04 ..
but nothing is loaded into the A, X or Y registers at the time. :-/
That's what i'm not understanding

When I try a Read breakpoint instead....i come up with this:
$B41E:AD 99 05 LDA $0599 = #$04
$B421:C9 63 CMP #$63
$B423:90 05 BCC $B42A
$B425:A9 63 LDA #$63
$B427:8D 99 05 STA $0599 = #$04
$B42A:CD E8 66 CMP $66E8 = #$04
$B42D:F0 46 BEQ $B475
$B42F:8D E8 66 STA $66E8 = #$04
$B432:85 00 STA $00 = #$00

I don't see any A904 anywhere (specifically)

I hate when i get stumped
I guess this game is just designed far differently and a little more complicated than other games..considering how it's a largest NES ROM file.
Anyway, going to go back to working on my megaman hack now.
