Nope, Sage doesn't seem to work in the ROM hacking forum at all. It works in this forum though. Which is rather odd to say the least.

From what I can tell Famicom Advance seems to support FDS ROMs. Try using that instead.

Once you learn Java, it shouldn't be too hard to learn C++. In fact, once you learn any object orientated programming language, it's not hard to learn another one.

I use Firefox and Thunderbird. I have used Sunbird in the past, but I don't really have a need for calendar applications really.

Copied from the FCEU help file: "Famicom Disk System You will need the FDS BIOS ROM image in the base FCE Ultra directory. It must be named "disksys.rom". FCE Ultra will not load FDS games without this file. Two types of FDS disk images are supported: disk images with the FWNES-style header, and disk images with no header. The number of sides on headerless disk images is calculated by the total file size, so don't put extraneous data at the end of the file. You should make backups of all of your FDS games you use with FCE Ultra. This is because FCE Ultra will write the disk image back to the storage medium, and the disk image in RAM might have been corrupted because of inaccurate emulation(this case is not likely to occur, but it could occur)." The same works for FCEUXD. |

Oh shit. I never read that part. Yeah, that's in the FCEU user manual too.

It's preferable to read the graphics from the ROM. For editors for NES games, it's pretty much expected, SNES less so. However, it's not unacceptable to load them from external files. |

It sounds like your ROM is zipped, so unzip it.

My MP3 CD player plays the tracks in alphabetical order. Just prefix numbers to each of the tracks in the order you want. For example: 001 - Song 1.mp3 002 - Song 2.mp3 003 - Song 3.mp3 004 - Song 4.mp3 |

(Probably the only reason he said that was because the whole discussion had been dealt with in the Temporal Flux thread) Maybe it's just me, but the whole issue of deinterleaving and stripping the header isn't a big issue. At all. Maybe a sense of proportion is needed. |

You don't even have to do that, as the first time you run Lunar IPS it registers the IPS file extension, so all you have to do is double-click the IPS in Windows Explorer, and select the ROM file you want to patch. I don't think it gets any easier than that.

Heh, you think you are lazy, I'm 22 and I've only bothered to actually learning how to drive now. Heh. I have my theory test next Friday, and once I pass that, I can do my practical. Although, at the moment, if they ask me to do parallel parking, I'm fucked. I'm also not hot on reversing into a parking space, but thankfully, over here, they won't ask you to do both parallel parking and reversing into a parking space. The other two manoeuvres I'm not actually too bad at (3 point turn is piss easy, and I can usually do reversing round a corner).

Here (well, the UK at least), you have to pass a theory test that consists of 36 questions, and a hazard perception test (simply, you watch a video and press the screen when a potential hazard appears, the quicker you press, the more points you get). Then you have to take the practical test, which consists of you driving around on actual roads. Also, you have to do two manoeurves to pass. There are four possible manoeuvres, three point turn, reverse around a corner, bay parking (reversing into a parking space), and parallel parking. Luckily, if you do one of the parking ones, you don't have to do the other. Oh, and did I mention that you also have to take driving lessons with some accredited place or something, and they are pretty expensive. So yeah, the whole thing can be very expensive. I've taken 22 lessons, and have spent |

I just roll about a bit until I fall asleep. I'm actually the worse sleeper ever. I usually end up at the opposite end of the bed, or i throw my pillow on the floor. Or I stick my feet up in the air. All while I am asleep. Thankfully, I don't seem to be as bad as I used to be. (Where I would sing in my sleep, or shout random things)

Apparently the exploit is in the library that Microsoft used to implement PNG support in their application. And the vulnerability has been known about since last August (and it was patched then) or something. It's yet another case of Microsoft being lazy with security holes. |
