that would make sense.... since everyone seems to agree that it won't last....

and once it runs out, maybe we will stop all this crap about wars for oil.... and high prices... and all that crap...

maybe we can have an energy source that isn't really friggin expensive anymore....

I bet if the amount of money put into defence was put into research, a lot more things would have been figured out by now.... but hey, missles are more important than everything else

only got one account on my computer.... and the wife and I both use it... but she already knows not to just add stuff without asking... cause, most of the time she doesn't know how [giggle].... but, just one, and it's admin.... don't see a need for anything else

hooray, at least a couple people know/remember me....

and, it was partially because I wasn't interested in posting here anymore... and partially because of Erk.... I just don't like the way he runs a board....

hehehe, yeah.... the death of someone may just benefit the board

oh, and there won't be any new kicking from me in #acmlm, since I don't have any uh, power in there.... but, if I do get power.... oh, will the kicking commence

the only problem with global warming is that all the models are based on the last 40 years of temperature readings.... which show an increase in temperature of about 3 degrees celsius...

however, from the mid 30's to the 70's the temperature went down!.... eventhough the second world war increased CO2 production incredibly....

and from the 10's to about the mid 30's the temperature increased....

so, the worry about ice melting all over the world and the like, isn't a very scary thing to me....

I mean.... temperatures seem to have fluctuated over the last 100 years.... why not again?.... temps will probably go down again in the next 10-20 years....and we'll start this whole global warming scare 50 years from now

well, of course outlook gets to hotmail faster.... both microsuck products ....

I haven't bothered to set up thunderbird.... since I barely use e-mail.... the provided clients in the sites work well enough for the 1 e-mail a week I send....

well, what is the Kyoto Treaty really saving us from?

I'm all for cutting back on harmful pollutants.... forcing plants to filter some more.... but not for greenhouse gases.... that's just silly... .in my opinion... but I'm okay with trying to stop acid rain.... or some toxic gas that isn't dealt with....

but not global warming.... no one is dying... nothing is ruined because of that....

haha, probably just sucky DNS.... I heard it was supposed to have fixed yesterday.... and that DNS would just have to catch up depending on where you live....

which might explain it.... but, maybe something isn't right?

I dunno.... I just switched to amber. whatever it is and that's fine for me

[edit] oh.... www.acmlm.org works... maybe try that instead?

yes.... but... what about our activities is it helping?

I guess no one seems to have explicitly said what the purpose of the Kyoto Treaty is (not to me at least).... I hear a bunch of how it's better for the world.... but how?

that's pretty cool.... kinda shows how only certain parts of the world are really online.... but, still really cool to see where people are from.....

although, there are huge gaps in places where there probably should be some people

well, linux also has irssi.... I use it, and I prefer it because no one really uses it.... so no one fucks around with it
