Well, I've joined these forums. Not much to say...I guess you can expect to see me the most in the Emulation forums.

I have an idea...a custom block that gives you an imediate Yoshi of a random color, without having to go through the feed the Yoshi five enemies gag.

Sounds great! It might work well for a Mario Sunshine themed hack, with the shades and shirt on Mario when he gets big.

I wasn't sure whether to post this here or the Mario gaming, since I consider Donkey Kong games Mario games. I decided to post it here since most people would consider Donkey Kong and Mario games seperate series. But now, to the point of this topic. In any level with water (including battle stages), on certain walls, dive underwater, press C-Up, C-Up, and then use B to swim through the wall! It only works on certain walls, so experiement with it. Now for the second part. Do this glitch in the waterfall area of DK Isle. It works on one of the walls there. Swim through and up to the surface, then swim into the DK Head of the Island. Keep swimming and eventually your Kong will dissappear. Keep swimming and you will enter a small room with a radar in it. To get out, jump over the radar. Note that this glitch will take many tries to get right. (edited by Dylan Yoshi on 08-30-05 07:56 PM) |

It was the part about the room with the radar.

Well, if you use this glitch, you can race the Seal with any Kong by swimming through the wall and going underneath the entrance to the Seal Race. And it really bugs people who don't know how to do it when you do this glitch in battle mode. Especially in the Coin Capture (or whatever you call it) game. |

I've never really liked Lunar Magic's 8x8 editor. I reccomend downloading a tile editor like YY-CHR (found in one of the stickies, which I'm too lazy to link to).

Those graphics are AWESOME. Especially the overworld! I'm really looking forward to this hack.

Zsnes does in fact have a movie recording selection, but I think he wants to make it into a .wmv. I've been wondering how to do that...

I was kind of crossed between SMRPG and SM64, but I decided to choose SM64. And does the minus world work on earlier versions of Super Mario Allstars? It doesn't work on my game pack... |

The same thing happened to me. I think Smallhacker made a SMW clean ROM verifier. Try scanning your ROM with that.

Erm, I can't connect either, but I think I have a different problem than anyone else. It takes me directly to there as soon as I enter, and I've entered other IRC chats perfectly before. (edited by Dylan Yoshi on 09-03-05 04:57 PM) |

Alright, I downloaded it and here is my critisism: 1. The slant was quite a good idea, but it needs some work. I vote on keeping the slant and just adding onto its graphics. 2. Your levels are too easy. In fact, some of them might be easier than the first few levels of the original Super Mario World 3. Your secret exits are way too easy to find. I can upload and PM you an example of a harder secret exit from my hack if you want. 4. The rising and falling water in Iggy's Castle didn't make for that good of a challenge. I was hoping for more of avoiding Munchers or lava and that sort of stuff. 5. Yoshi's House needs to be changed more. 6. The Yellow Switch Palace is just..bad. Now, for the compliments. 1. See #1 of critisism. 2. Your map design was very nice. I really enjoyed it. 3. Your fish, although used in many other hacks, looked nice. Credit for that. |

You could solve this problem by making it so that every level no longer has level access after completing it. But then that would take out the fun of going back and playing the levels over... |

Was that directed towards me? If so, how would I fix it?

I think he means making the entire game have Luigi as player 1 and Mario as player 2. If so, I'm going to mention that its not that hard to change Mario and Luigi's palletes. Originally posted by Luigi fanAnd I don't need anymore of block, so stop with that please. |

Most RPGs are too difficult for me, probably because I avoid battles commonly. Therefore, I don't level up much. So, basically, I'm more of Paper Mario person than one of those Final Fantasy people. |

My opinions: Mario Party 1: Ah, the beginning. Nothing wrong with this except those dumb control stick rotating mini games. Mario Party 2: I love this one. The boards are awesome, and so are the minigames. Mario Party 3: My favortite of the bunch. It had awesome items, and lots of REALLY fun minigames (like Fowl Play). Unfortunatly, it has too many luck based minigames. Mario Party 4: Meh, this was kind of fun. It could use some work. Mario Party 5: This one was quite fun, but is nothing compared to the first three. Mario Party 6: WHAT THE HECK DID THEY DO TO THIS ONE? The story line was poor! Come on, the sun and the moon get into a fight over who is better? And then comes Solo Mode. What happened to Story Mode? Solo Mode is a piece of trash, and doesn't deserve to be in any game! Also, there were few minigames I found very fun. And the boards...complete trash. Anybody who likes this game needs help. (edited by Dylan Yoshi on 09-15-05 07:54 PM) |

Wow. Your rips are awesome. This is something I'm really looking foward to. Edit: Wait...in that underwater screen, why is the Piranha Plant in front of the pipe? (edited by Dylan Yoshi on 09-03-05 03:01 PM) |
