| An indicator flashed red on Zerodius's visor. Computer: "Ultra-low temperature alert." Zerodius was completely frozen by the gaz! Computer: "Initiating auto-heat process... automatically loading Plasma Cannon Module on Blaster Cannon." Zerodius's Blaster turned into the Plasma Cannon. Computer: "Initiating discharges." Zerodius seemed to explode as broke out of the ice cube in which he was stuck. Computer: "Manual controls restored. Damage to shielding minor. Small breaches in outter layer of armor. Acid's effects cancelled. Outter layer of armor is now fragile due to very quick changes in temperature. Use caution." Zerodius: "I see..." Zerodius turned to Cyberaptor. Zerodius: "You're starting to get on my nerves..." Zerodius charged magical energy in his left hand... One detail made the ball different from the other spell charges Zerodius had used: this ball was MUCH bigger. |

| Zerodius: "I guess I should end this now... Your potential is truly evident but first... I shall test you one final time." Zerodius noticed a flaw in Cyberaptor's attack: he was aiming everywhere... but in front of himself. Zerodius suspected this to be a trap... but with the spell he had prepared, he would be ready for anything. The thrusters activated in his feet as Zerodius dashed out of the way of the giant anvil. Zerodius: "Prepare yourself!" Zerodius placed the magical sphere into his Arm Blaster as he got closer to Cyberaptor... Zerodius: "Survive this if you can!" Zerodius's Arm Blaster transformed into the Plasma Cannon!... or is it? It was totally black and white and the sparks that were flying out of it seemed a bit... dull. Zerodius: "PULSAR!!!" Zerodius shot a HUGE sphere from the Arm Blaster! The sphere was totally black and white and moved awfully slowly... but there was a problem with it... a SERIOUS problem. The sphere's gravity was thousands times the strenght of the very planet's gravity! In short, it's almost the level of a black hole! When Zerodius yelled "Pulsar", he really meant that he was going to shoot a real, actual pulsar, it seems! As such, direct contact with the sphere will cause molecular structure fKitten Yiffer (read: crushed beyond recognition) and the sphere constantly sends extremely powerful magnetic waves from it's spinning poles... and these waves are so powerful that they can shred the strongest material at molecular level. In short, Zerodius had thrown a gigantic magnetic saw at Cyberaptor. The chances of survival for both fighters were quite low... already, pieces of Zerodius's armor were ripped off his body and were absorbed by the advancing magnetic sphere... Computer: "Armor tolerance critical. System fKitten Yiffer imminent." Zerodius: "Pah! It doesn't matter. Magnetic-elemental matter retains it's effects as data... and as such, should Cyberaptor survives this attack, he has passed my test." Zerodius's armor was completely ripped apart and absorbed by the pulsar... but as the armor fell into pieces, a mysterious life-form came out and escaped to a safe distance... Cyberaptor could not grasp the form of this creature... Zerodius *thinks* Let's see how this mortal will deal with my pulsar... if he can destroy or disable it... then he and his specie will officially succeed this test... | OFF: I guess it hasn't been specified enough if at all... so I'll say this: Dark Weapon cannot be damaged, end of story. Dark Weapon instantly destroy every souless object at a molecular level upon impact. Only objects with souls can resist a direct impact... and even then, it varry on the soul's strenght. In short, unless Kire's sword is a living weapon, Kire just wasted it. ____________________________________________________________________ Unfortunately for Kire, his sword didn't do anything to Dark Weapon. Worse, if it was souless... then it must have shattered instantly on impact. Dark Weapon: "Weird... I sensed an impact or something... It was going at an incredible speed..." Ex *thinks* Bah! Must have been nothing... Ex carried on with her attack as if nothing had happened... in short, Kire's intervention didn't do anything at all... exept breaking his own sword. |

| Ex stared at Fenrir... Ex: "The Ragnarok is already over, Fenrir. Chaos said it himself... and since he's the Creator of this Possibility and since he is bound by the rule #1 which is "the Creator shall be Perfect with a big "P" or else an angry mob of mortals will tear him apart", it means that he cannot lie and as such... well, you get it. This is not the Ragnarok. It's a fake created by someone else..." Ex paused... Ex: "I joined Odin becease I believed this to be truly the Ragnarok... but I do not see any usefulness in following him in a fake Ragnarok that will only cause pain to the souls of the world and nothing else." Ex unsheated it and pointed it at Fenrir. Ex: "You can consider that I have switched sides... for now. I'll eventually return to Odin's side... but until this case has been solved, you can consider me an ally." Ex sheated Dark Weapon and turned to Odin. Ex: "There you are... the Ragnarok is fake, Odin. You have been fighting for absolutely no reason. Indeed... that continent that was nuked was destroyed for nothing. An evil force is at work, throwing the world into a mock-up of the Ragnarok... and until that being has been taken care of... I fear that I'll switch sides. In short... I'll follow your opponent, Fenrir, starting from now... but do not consider me an enemy. Fenrir is not bound as much as you to Fate and as such, he is more vulnerable than you are... altought he has clearly superior fighting capabilities. As such, I'm following him until that being has been defeated. Once he's gone, he's on his own again, though!" Ex smiled. Ex: "We shall be on the same side again sometimes, Odin!" ... During this time... ... NeoBowser laughed and laughed and laughed... NeoBowser: "Hahahaha! What a joke! You TRULY are a lame copy! The real Ex would NEVER attempt to fight me using the very energy I feed on!" NeoBowser's Trident began to glow... NeoBowser: "Heeheehee..." As the pain continued to flow in his veins, NeoBowser's wounds began to close... his body seemed taller... but he had not grown in size. In fact, his back, which had been broken by the flow of time, was being repaired. The Trident was absorbing the pain the copy was transferring into NeoBowser and was using it to make it's wielder young once again! After a short while, NeoBowser was back to his former, young self. NeoBowser (voice is MUCH scarier now. Detail in his voice that made his voice ridiculous is gone): "Haaa... there's nothing like feeding off your enemy's mistakes!" NeoBowser pointed the Trident at Ex. NeoBowser: "My powers were not restored... and as such, I'm still mortal... but unlike the real Ex, you cannot survive your weak point!" NeoBowser put his Trident back into his backpack. NeoBowser: "This is a beautiful darkness, isn't it? Perfect for a dance... just between you... and me..." NeoBowser did a strange gesture... he made a step backward while inviting the copy to dance in a weird way... No doubt about it! NeoBowser was trying to activate the self-destruction mechanism that was in every "Ex" being: the Dance of Insanity! Since this was a copy, NeoBowser espected the copy's desire for death to surface thus allowing him to get an easy kill... NeoBowser couldn't wait for the copy to anwser. Sure, it wasn't the real thing... but killing this copy would still satisfy him until the day he'll finally get to kill the real Ex Lightheart! That hated, stupid rat... always interferring in his plans... He vowed to someday end the rat's life and restore the honor to the Forces of Evil, disgraced twice by Ex both as her original self and as Serra, her alternate but nonetheless annoying form. |

The figure revealed itself... a shadow in a cloak wielding a scythe made of human bones?!? ???: "I believe Serra knows who I am so I will not tell you my name... but know this: be careful what you wish for. The Guardians aren't all rainbows and lollypops. They are actually quite nasty and while they aren't completely pure evil like the UEN were... they're still people you do NOT want to mess with. Take my advice: forget that those serving the Guardians were once people... all that you must know is that they are enemies and must be terminated. The future of your world is dependant on the success of your journey... do not let your hesitation doom you..." The figure disappeared... and so did the body. |

| Suddenly, at the same time as Schwa filled the slime with electricity, the Rainbow Devil shot a thunderbolt into the slime too! The slime gathered and rose like a gigantic tidal wave! In fact, it had became an actual tidal wave that washed over all the robot masters, reducing to shreds! We have both revolted against Chaos and overcame Fate only to be forced to face it again and again... both labelled as "evil" for our nature and name..." Ex smiled. Ex: "I like you. I hope I never happen to learn that you've murdered thousands of people in the past for no reason... and if I do, I hope I'll learn that your fights with Odin's incarnations gave you a cause to fight for." Ex turned to Odin. Ex: "Well... looks like I won't switch sides after all. I came to this world to make sure Evil wouldn't come back... now I am here to learn everything about this world and keep this world from being consumed by Fate!" Ex approached Odin... Ex: "There is much hatred in your eyes... but this hatred isn't yours. It is an instinctive hatred put into your mind by superior forces. You're nothing but a puppet... a puppet which Fenrir will crush easily... but it is why I follow you." Ex stood next to Odin. Ex: "I am confused... I am a dark force which exiled itself from it's own world in hope of reaching a world in trouble where it could finally find excitement... and well, my wish has been fulfilled. This is quite a complicated case I got myself into... and I do not regret it one bit!" Ex smiled... Ex: "A world on the verge of destruction... two persons stuck in an endless duel by the forces of Fate... an evil entity manipulating the former master of everything... and travellers from other worlds interferring. | Sounds could be heard... ... steps? Suddenly, Cyberaptor was surrounded. Around him were a dozen of Hunter agents in armor... but they were not hostile. Far from it. They placed strange machines around the pulsar, "binding" it and then proceeded to analyse the pulsar... which, strangely enough, contained all of the data and energy Zerodius had got from Cyberaptor. One of the agents approached Cyberaptor... the agent took off his helmet and... ?!? It was actually a shockingly beautiful female humanoid green dragon! She smiled as she stared deep into Cyberaptor's eyes... her blue eyes glowed like the ocean. Her blonde hair was looking as if it was made of gold... Firux: "Hi mister Cyberaptor! I am Firux, the commander of the Hunters on this small planet. This battle was arranged in secret between the Hunters' High Council and the ruling beings of Cybercity. Since Cybercity's strongest creature, you, has successfully cleared our Admiral's test... Cybercity is now an official part of the Hunters." Firux placed a strange object on Cyberaptor's chest... Firux: "Cybercity will now have access to all of the Hunters technology but will also have to share their own technology as well as their scientific finds. The DNA banks of the species under your control will be added to the Hunters' main database as well. Soul data acquired during the test will be analysed and used." Firux standed back and stared at Cyberaptor for a while... Firux: "Cybercity retains it's former rulers and laws. Laws that were contrary to the Hunters' ethics were already erased way before this fight even begun. A communications center has been built into Cybercity which will allow your specie to contact us whenever you need us... or whenever we need you. The pulsar that was used in this test shall be used as the energy source for the new building; the communications center will not take any energy from your regular power sources." Firux paused for a while and smiled... Firux: "Now that I'm finished with the official speech... I can go on with personnal matters. It is truly a wonderful thing that Cybercity finally reached the technological and intellectual level needed to become a part of the Hunters. I'm sure that our species will do great things together... but we shall see. My name is Firux as I said earlier... but while I'm not supposed to say this... there are still some tests your specie will face." Firux said some words in an unknow language and the other agents left with the pulsar. Firux: "While your specie fulfill all of the requirements... our Admiral is still a little weird... and as such, he deems it necessary to test your specie one last time... or should I say, test you..." Firux stared at Cyberaptor in a rather... strange... way? Firux: "The contact with other species... to see if your specie can merge or will evolve on it's own... such is the Admiral's final test. Now that your specie stood the test of War... they must pass the test of Peace!" Firux stared at her right arm... Firux: "Well well well... looks at that! Still talking in an official way! I think it's becease I did not got enough time for my vacation... so what about it?" Firux approached Cyberaptor and began to transform as she did... Firux: "Will you bring me to Cybercity?" Firux was now just in front of Cyberaptor. She was now a raptor like him while still keeping her armor and good looks. Firux: "I want to see your city... and I want to learn more about this city's guardian in a more... hmm... how can I say this... well... in a more... "personnal"... way..." | Ex tried to make it between the two so she could stop them from fighting... but she was too weak in her current state to fight the current created by the shockwaves. As such, she was hopelessly stuck in the wall. Ex: "Odin, stop it you moron! You can't win! You're no match for him in this state! Fenrir! You're wasting your time! He's just acting on the impulse of an irrationnal rage that isn't his! Ignore him! He isn't a threat to you in his current state anyway!" ... During this time... ... NeoBowser savored every moment of his victory over this weak illusion... NeoBowser: "It may have been an easy win... but it still feels so... great. Communications Officer: "Mission accomplished, sir. We just received the transmission from Profound Idea." Zerodius: "Good. Cybercity is now under Hunter control. I was a bit worried the Guardians would contact them first and force them to worship them... but now, Cybercity is safe." Communications Officer: "Sir... we just received a strange signal... it's Firux!" Zerodius: "You know she's a nymphomaniac. She must have fell in love with the local hero, Cyberaptor. I fought him just a few seconds ago... excellent potential. His exoskeleton is shape-shifting, a bit like our Blaster systems... but the extensive use of shape-shifting technology makes it vulnerable to molecular disruptors... but I'm sure the molecular stability problems will be fixed in time as their technology will be upgraded... and later as they will use our technology to further theirs even further." Communications Officer: "So... another specie merged successfully to the Hunters Alliance?" Zerodius: "Yes... but with an "if". The Guardians do not let powerful and intelligent species slip from their grasp so easily. A war for the control on Cybercity is imminent." Communications Officer: "I'll call Commander Firux..." Zerodius: "It has been 4 billions years since her last vacation... and a bit of romance in her life wouldn't hurt. Let her do as she please. Cyberaptor must also recover from his heavy exposure to intense magical energies. We'll deal with this ourselves... and anyway, this is a golden opportunity to incorporate the abilities we got from Cyberaptor to the Project "Ex". The invading Guardians will make superb test subjects." Communications Officer: "Using "Ex" beings on the Guardians? Is that a bit of an... overkill?" Zerodius: "Cybercity just joined us. Let us spare them from that stupid conflict between us and the Guardians. We'll let them enjoy a little peace for a while..." |

We'll see who will laugh once I become the Universe's supreme ruler." Ex: "The only thing you'll ever rule is your very own cell in the Prison Dimension!" He tried to attack us... and well, his attack, while unsuccessful, caused a drop in power level which made our attack do next to nothing to the target." Ex *thinks* Too bad... really. CLANG! Dark Weapon: "Yet another Shard Flurry Bomb!" Ex *thinks* Man! Not now! BOOM! Ex attempted to block the real rain of shards but unlike last time, she wasn't ready for the attack and as such, at least two dozens shards got into Ex. Ex cursed as she felt intense pain and transformed Dark Weapon into a strange object which she used to extract the shards from her body. Ex: "I hate this attack..." |

| Becease of the trees, it was already dark in the woods. As soon as Kirbynite made it more or less halfway trought the woods, more than a dozen of characters stepped out of the shadows and trapped Kirbynite in the middle of the trail. The leader of the characters, a Knuckle Joe, stepped foward. Knuckle Joe: "Well well well! So you made it this far... I am the leader of this fine squad. Queen 02's orders were very simple. I am to put an end to your journey and bring you back to her, dead or alive." Knuckle Joe laughed. Knuckle Joe: "News of your victory against 501032 travelled quickly... and as such, to prevent our fKitten Yiffer, our squad received some little toys which I'm sure you'll like." The enemy leader took out some kind of replica of the Star Rod... Knuckle Joe: "Everyone! Plan A!" The enemies jumped back into the shadows... but as they did, Knuckle Joe shot a star with the Star Rod toward the sky!... it's then that the difference between this fake and the real Star Rod became evident: it was shooting black stars unstead of white ones! The black star travelled toward the sky for a while and then exploded... covering the forest with a thick veil of darkness! The darkness was so thick that it was impossible to see anything. The only sources of light were the two Plasma Wisps and even then... they did not emitted much light. Knuckle Joe: "How do you like that? You can't see anything anymore!" Chilly: "Maybe... but we can't see anything either!" Bio Spark: "That darkness doesn't bother me..." Waddle Dee: "Easy for you to say! Bio Sparks have the power of night vision!" Knuckle Joe: "Silence! Prepare for phase 2 of Plan A!" Waddle Dee: "Sir! The Plasma Wisps' light are revealing our positions!" Bio Spark: "Shut UP!" BANG! Waddle Dee: "OW! | OFF: Realised I forgot to specify that the Rainbow Devil's eye goes into the air ducts EVERYTIME he gets out of the slime body. In short, physical attacks won't do any good... as seen in this post. ____________________________________________________________________ Unfortunately for Schwa, the Rainbow Devil simply flied backward a bit, going deeper into the air ducts in the ceiling. As such, not only did Schwa took heavy damage, but he also smashed right into the ceiling, doing absolutely nothing. Worse yet, the ceiling became unstable after Schwa's attack and a part of the air ducts fell down on him! | As Serra entered the room containing the Element, everything faded away... the hall was in truth a gate to the Prison Dimension! Serra appeared inside of a temple floating in deep space. The room was entirely made of glass, thus making it a pretty... unique sight to say the least. In the middle of the room was an altar made of bones of various conscious species... and in the middle, on the top-most part of the altar was a pedestal made of an unknow black metal. The metal emitted... familiar... energy. That energy made Serra feel... at home?!? It was as if Serra knew what this metal was... in fact, the entire room felt so... familiar. The pedestal on the top of the altar was... empty. A single gap in the pedestal revealed that something used to be there however... Dark Weapon: "Serra... this is the Memiroa, the chamber of memories, the very origin of the world... It is here that every soul was born. That feeling of nostalgia within you comes from this fact. It was from here that Chaos ruled over the Universe... long... long ago... before time... before space... before existance. Now, nothing remains exept for the Link... the Link to ultimate power!" Dark Weapon paused. Dark Weapon: "I am the Key, Serra... Insert me into the gap within the Pedestal and your soul will merge with the Link. You will be everywhere at once... you will be everybody at once... you will be in both the past, present, and future. Your consciousness and the Universe will become one. Then... the Element will appear within you." Dark Weapon stared deep within Serra's soul... Dark Weapon: "The time has come, Serra. You will enter in contact with everyone's souls at once three times. You will enter in contact with everyone's souls each time you find a new Link. Each Link will allow you to feel a different feeling within the people's souls." Dark Weapon laughed. Dark Weapon: "This is so funny, isn't it? There was never such a thing as a Good or Evil Element. The Elements are in truth, nothing more than a soul that is in contact with the souls of everyone. In short... it is when all of the power of the Universe gather to a single soul, making this soul the incarnation of a single feeling. However... the Link can work on only one soul at a time... which is why the word "Element" was used. While it is not a physical possession... a Good or Evil Element belong to only one soul." Dark Weapon paused again. Dark Weapon: "Anyway... I doubt my explanation made any sense. Just insert me into that gap and hold on tight! You are about to experience something no mortal was ever supposed to experience... and your resolve will also be put to the ultimate test. Let's see if you were sincere when you said you wanted to save the world from the Guardians! Let's see how you will react when you will see the true form of your world!"
