Guard: "Bring it on!" ====================== MINI-BOSS BATTLE BEGINS! ====================== -Boss enemy: Guard Captain Jakes The leader of this base's guards. Captain Jakes was one of the first Hunter agents to betray the Admiral and join Dreickonis's forces. An Apocalypse war veteran, Jakes is not to be understimated. Jakes wield a Gatling Gun, an ancient and dated weapon... but do not let it's dated technology fool you! Becease that it uses bullets unstead of beams, today's force fields are less effective in blocking the gun's shots. The bullets are also explosive which means that they'll inflict more damage. But what makes Jakes really deadly is the fact that his gun fire so fast. It's as if he was wielding a giant sword! Captain Jakes's armor is dated, just like his gun, but the shieldings on it are stronger than those on the regular guards' armors and as such, what Jakes lack in defense, he make up with bigger Life Force reserves! Also... remember that Jakes' aim is MUCH better than that of the lowly guards! | Suddenly, a black shadow began to form behind Mitra... A single eye appeared on the shadows... and then another... and then another... and soon enough, a gigantic miasma of blackness had formed behind Mitra. The queen Kirbynite had met earlier appeared next to Mitra. Queen: "So she is your friend? I see..." The queen approached Mitra... Queen: "A Phoenix, as I can see... Fire Birds are common on the Outter Stars... but Phoenixes... extremely rare!" The queen examined Mitra... Queen: "The creatures of this world are interesting... and thus, it is understandable that my son had interest in this world... but still, the inhabitants of this world are way too weak and naive. Barely strong enough to serve as workers..." The queen approached Kirbynite... Queen: "As for you... you are the son of my greatest creation and backstabber-extraordaire, Kirby... isn't it? It took long years to create a being that would have the Copy power that is unique to the Dark Matter specie and still retain it's power of Light... and when we finally succeeded, that incompetant fool of a servant that is Nightmare had to lose him to a stupid gang of thugs like the inhabitants of this Star! What a waste!... Well! All is not lost, I guess... since if we cannot get the father... we shall get the son!" The queen smiled and suddenly, she transformed into a gigantic one-eyed angel! 02: "We shall purge this body of all of it's positive feelings and make it into one of our top-ranked officers! But my vengeance goes first!" 02 began to cry Hate tears. 02: "Since attacking that crumbling aging fool Kirby would be too easy... I shall have my revenge on Kirby by defeating and then torturing his descendant!" 02 was about to slap Kirbynite with her wing... but unstead, she pointed Mitra! 02: "SEIZE HER!" | However, Kirby's bat only found air. The shadows and Mitra were gone long before he could actually strike them. 02 laughed... 02: "What a worthless gesture! You cannot save her... but well, you can always try, right? If you want to save her... then you shall go to the hills where I first met you. There, your fate shall be decided..." With that said, 02 dived into the shadows. |

| Once at the hills, two Waddle Doos, a Chilly, a Plasma Wisp, and a Blade Knight were waiting for Kirbynite. Waddle Doo #1: "So... this is Kirbynite!" Chilly: "We're supposed to rough him up, aren't we?" Blade Knight: "We're going to get a beating..." Plasma Wisp: "We're NOT going to take a beating! We're going to make our Queen worthy! Oh yes! We'll present her with a tainted Kirbynite corpse!" | OFF: I'll assume Origin tried to strike the archer on the way altought you didn't specified if your character had struck or had just flied toward the enemy, doing nothing. ____________________________________________________________________ The mages tried to cast a spell to protect the archer but Origin was too fast. The archer was sent flying by the sheer power of Origin's attack... but he was dead before even reaching the ground. The others stared at Origin. In their current state, they were powerless before him. A new warrior came... Warrior: "Good news! We're getting reinforcements!... and they have magical equipment with them!" Mage #1: "About time! We've done all we could... but we need magical equipment to beat that guy! | I played the game... I'm unable to join a server or something... in fact, I don't understand how the multiplayer game works but well... right now, I'm more interested in the changes you can make to the game. It is possible to edit the levels and even change the sounds and music... but for some reason, the game crash when I change the GFX. I took the pictures of the first player (dragon 0), made a copy of it in bitmap format, edited the bitmap, and then saved it as a PPM (the format used for the game's GFX). I loaded the game with the new graphics... and it crashed. An error that spoke about the server having problems with "Cell 0", "Cell 1", and other things like that. As such... I wonder what went wrong and how it could be corrected. As for the game itself... really fun. There's a definite lack of bosses however. Where's Hyper Drunk, the Giga Invader, the Mecha Skull Robot, and all the other wacky bosses? Yes, the final level is quite interesting in it's current form... but I would prefer a boss battle to a onslaught of wacky effects (ranging from enemies appearing out of nowhere and being afflicted with all the bad bonuses at the same time). |

Normally, nothing should be able to reach something this high in the sky... but these arrows were magical ones and as such, would hit Origin whatever the distance at which he is. Warrior #1: "Great! Reinforcements!" Mage #1: "Great shot!" Archer #1: "Judging from how the target is glowing... he's going to use something strong! Mages! Use your spell and cancel his attack!" Mage #1: "It's as if it was already done!" He kicked the barrel down and then, kicked it again with as much force as possible sending it toward Dracoon! When you create Techs during battle, you may also writte them down so they can be used in other battles. All in all, it saves time. I don't know what this means but... well, according to what I know, people called "Dracoon" and "Trapster" may want to copy and paste our full status into .txt files for some reason... well, anyway!" Dark Weapon paused. Dark Weapon: "As for the note... well... we won't find out what's written on it until we read it. "Ex" beings are living weapons... beings that carry Death in them and spread it like a wildfire, bringing a peaceful eternal rest to all things marked by the force know as "Evil"... and the "Ex" beings' greatest joy is that Death. To kill... is the greatest joy an "Ex" being can feel..." Siryx's eyes suddenly turned blood-red... just the exact color NeoBowser's eyes were... it seemed as if the entire base had vanished. There was just Serra and Siryx... Siryx sheated his weapon and hugged Serra... Siryx: "The desire... it is within you as well... for their entire lives, the "Ex" beings spread the Death within them... but unfortunately, they have been programmed in a way that they will never, ever be able to feel this Death trought natural processes..." Siryx's grip on Serra became MUCH stronger... but then, hormones of unknow origin began to flow in her veins... she felt an excitement stronger than anything she had felt before... Siryx: "As the Bringer of Death and Destruction, NeoBowser understood the pain of the "Ex" beings... and as such, he gave your specie a gift... a way that they could finally end their existance and fall prey to their own Death... they gave you..." Siryx unsheated with his left hand his Dark Weapon and placed Serra in a position that would make it impossible for Serra to defend herself! Serra's excitement grew to an incredibly high level for some strange reason... Siryx: "We Anti-Exs are in truth, mere agents... but unlike the others, we understand your specie. It is why you fell in love so easily with me... becease you knew I understood you and becease I know you understood me..." The blade of Siryx's Dark Weapon made a slight cut into Serra's neck... as the blood began to flow out of the wound, Serra felt something she had never felt before... it was like, the total opposite of the fear of death... an instinct of self-termination... The fate of the world was no longer of any importance to her, her friends and family had ceased to exist... All that she knew was that she would finally feel it... Death... it called to her and she anwsered the call... Siryx: "Each day, when I was the Avatar, I terminated tons of "Ex" beings... but each generation has it's Chosen One... an "Ex" being that is stronger, more intelligent, and more beautiful than the others... I fell in love with each of them... and each of them fell in love with me... and I gave them all the Death they were longing for... in short, each time, I had a great day." Siryx's blade made a longer cut in Serra's neck this time. The excitement was greater than ever... just a little centimeter and Death would claim her... finally... but then, suddenly, the base reappeared, her friends and family existed to her, and she noticed that the wounds inflicted had been real. Siryx's blade was covered with Serra's blood... and he was laughing... but this was not his usual laugh. It was a cold, cruel laugh... a laugh that was shockingly similar to NeoBowser's... Siryx: "Serra... you are an "Ex" being and I am an Anti-Ex... Someday, you'll be ready to face your Fate... and when it will happen, I'll once again have a great day." Siryx bringed the Dark Weapon's blade in front of his face and licked the blood... Siryx: "Hmm... nice and warm... just like I like it. Anti-Ex one day... Anti-Ex forever they say..." Siryx sheated his Dark Weapon once he had licked all of the blood. It was quite incredible but altought he had licked the extremely sharp edge of his Dark Weapon... he hadn't cut himself. Siryx: "This is the true nature of the Dance of Insanity. It is when one spots an "Ex" being's desire for Death and give them the Death they've been longing for..." Siryx winked at Serra. Siryx: "The day will come, my dear! When it will come... I shall satisfy your desire for Death and have a great day. I'll be waiting, my dear!" Siryx stopped fooling around and stared at the other party members. Siryx: "What are you looking at?!? Yes, I did make a few cuts on her neck... so what? She's an "Ex" being, I'm an Anti-Ex! That's called "instincts", morons!" Looks like Siryx hadn't given up on being an Anti-Ex after all. He had given up on being a servant of Evil... but not on his ability to exploit the desire for Death within the "Ex" beings. =============== DRACOON EVENT =============== Jakes: "WHOA!" Jakes was forced out of his hidden spot by the attack! After the attack was done, Jakes was STILL unscathed for he was protected by the walls and the other objects... but he was just standing there, confused. Jakes: "How did a mortal use an attack like that?!?... and where is he?!?" Jakes was looking for Dracoon... and was not noticing that he was behind him. What had he been thinking? How could he dare hurt the one he cared the most for? Becease of the impulse created by some silly long forgotten instincts? That made no sense... why now? What was wrong with him? Siryx took his Dark Weapon and stared at it's eye... Siryx: "Why? Why? WHY?!? Why did those... instincts... awakened?... and why did it awakened within her as well? What's wrong with me?!?" Siryx stared at his Dark Weapon, panicked. He was receiving no awnser... There was only silence... then suddenly... Soul Eater *telepathy (everyone can hear)* "For a milli-second, I could taste her soul... so nice and sweet... and I know you felt it. The excitement of killing. The almost perverted joy of ending the life of an "Ex" being... for a short while... and the blood... it was so warm and nice, isn't it?" Siryx: "Y... Y... How dare... you?!?" Soul Eater *telepathy (everyone can hear)* "Oh come on! Why should you feel guilty for it? It's your fate, after all. You were born to kill her... and she was born to die by your hands. You know it and so does she... She felt it, too. When you sliced her neck, her soul was crying for more... she wanted the blade to cut her neck wide open and to spill all of her vital liquid on you and herself. The desire for Death is in her, do not deny it!... and do not deny that you want to fulfill her desire like none other!" Siryx was too horrified to say anything. He stared at his Dark Weapon... He was shaking, afraid of what he was and what he was capable of... Siryx: "Y... YOU'RE WRONG!" Siryx thrown his Dark Weapon away and fell to his knees, crying. Why had it happened? =============== DRACOON EVENT =============== Jakes suddenly heard a big sound... Jakes: "Huh?" CRASH! Jakes was crushed between the metallic floor and a rock that had appeared out of nowhere!
