| OFF: Oops! Tought the first salve of bullets were normal bullets!... but still, it is irrelevant. If the enemy sees the bullets coming, she'll block them anyway... ____________________________________________________________________ The "Ex" being stood there as the bullets pierced trought her brain... and then, she fell down to the ground without saying a single word... At this moment, the "Ex" being's Dark Weapon shattered into a million of pieces. A voice echoed within Serra's head... ???: "Dark Weapons are linked to their wielders... if the wielder dies, then the Dark Weapon dies too... You'd better remember this, Serra! If anything happens to you... it happens to me too!" Serra's Dark Weapon's eyes had opened. It's large, red eyes were all staring at it's wielder's soul... Dark Weapon: "I've slept well!... but I'm a bit hungry right now however. I already know about your family... I can read your toughts after all! Anyway, looks like there's trouble outside! Since I eat souls... then you'd better get out there and kill some bad guys already!" |

| Ex stared at Seph. She was fulminating! That anti-matter blade... it could only mean... no... he wouldn't dare... but still everything was showing that he had dared to use... IT... He had mixed the dreaded Eterni spell to his combo, thus adding an "instant-death or nothing happens" effect to his combo! Ex: "You cheap BASTARD! Using an Eterni-type spell, you moron! Instant-death is no fun, loser! Sure... you win... but COME ON! You're a shame to other "Ex" beings! Furthermore... Energy-based moves kill the target FOREVER! That's lame! | OFF: I'll join your RP when it's created. ____________________________________________________________________ You hadn't to go far to see what was happening. Just outside of Serra's house was total chaos. Thousand upon thousands of beings identical to Serra wielding exact copies of Dark Weapons... They were destroying everything. They left no building standing. They let nobody live. Men, women, children... all of them, being slaughtered in cold blood. These beings had all of Serra's powers when she was at full strenght... and they were obviously extremely smart. It was not a mindless slaughter, like those demons would sometimes do... It was a coordinate attack. Obviously, someone was leading them in their mission to destroy everything... and yet, no visible leader... The worst was this was happening everywhere on the planet. Thousands of "Ex" beings everywhere... and nothing could stop them. No magic, no weapon could destroy them. The sharpest sword would break upon touching the mysterious force fields around them and all magic was absorbed. Their Dark Weapons shown levels of power never seen before. No material could protect against them. The blades passed trought even concrete as if it was simply air... But the "Ex" beings weren't the only threat... the sky had changed... thousands of ships of steel had appeared in the sky... ships that would soon enough deliver nuclear-powered death to every life-form on the planet. It was not a mere attack... it was a full-scale invasion by a force far more advanced than anything this world had ever seen. Unlike the UEN, those beings were not nightmares... they were real and they were deadly. Dark Weapon: "Not that... everything but that... Serra... please... tell me that you have the HydraXIV hidden somewhere on this world or at least some kind of spaceship..." |

| OFF: Ex will join the fight!... but she won't choose a side. ____________________________________________________________________ Beyond time and space... such she was. Ex Lightheart... the ultimate life-form. Nobody knew where she came from or why... She seemed so nice... so cheerful... and yet so mysterious, so distant at times... After a few minutes with her, you would think that you're her very best friend and that you know everything about her... and still, people have been studying her for centuries now... and she's still an enigma. Why? Where? How? Few knew why she was fighting... and those who knew didn't said. ... Ex stood in the limits dividing this world from another one... the time had come. Ragnarok It was the name of this world's Apocalypse, the final judgement, the end of the world... Odin and Fenrir were the keys. Two sworn enemies who fight for their own cause... but this wasn't like most Apocalypses. In most Apocalypses, the final battle would take place between the Absolute Evil and the Chosen One... but not in this one. Evil has been destroyed long before the end of this world... Both Odin and Fenrir were friends of Ex... and she knew how it was going to end as she was beyond time and space, beyond life and death. Still, while she was supposed to stand back and watch as any Almighty and Perfect being should... well... the truth is that Ex never has been a very good Almighty being. She would always interfere, trying to save everyone even if it meant causing the appearance of new pain, new destruction... and she didn't cared. Pain and destruction can be eliminated in time. Dead mortals remain dead forever. She felt it was her duty to help Odin and Fenrir... she tought she could help them... she tought she could allow them to actually complete the Ragnarok, the final battle, without killing each others and everyone else in the process... ...but first, she needed to give up on her limitless power for a while and assume the form of a mortal. She needed to return to the form of a being limited by Time and Space. ... In the quiet town where Odin had asked everyone to meet him, lost souls gathered. In a flash of light, all of the souls of the beings who had perished becease of Neoterra's destruction gathered at the center of the town. The souls rotated around an invisible force and finally merged. Their consciousnesses were sent to the After-life while the raw soul energy was compressed into a humanoid form ressembling a mouse with very long ears. Then, the soul energy was tainted with a pure dark power... and finally, an unknow power infused the soul with life and gave it a physical body. Ex Lightheart was reborn... again. Ex: "Well well well... here I am!" Ex stood up and looked around. Such a nice, quiet town... she looked at her current form. It was her usual form. A stunningly beautiful female humanoid mouse with long ears, pinks cheeks, and a small black tail shaped like a thunderbolt. She had almost golden hair and bright yellow fur. Her eyes were blue like the sky... and... she was naked! Ex: "Man! I'm supposed to be the strongest being ever and I STILL can't create clothes for my new body when I phase into a new world! Looks like I STILL need more training... What they say IS true after all... No matter how much you knows, you still have much to learn." Ex hoped that nobody would look at her now... which she doubted since her entrance had been rather... visible? |

| OFF: Origin won't last long alone... in fact, as soon as the "Ex" beings reach him, he's dead as they can kill even deities. However, my post is made of 3 parts not counting the "OFF" part... and in the second part is a hint of who could help Origin survive the onslaught... ____________________________________________________________________ Dark Weapon: "Well... the Guardians will probably spot our ship... but if this thing has the ability to fly at the speed of light thus evading them, we may have chances. It's quite sad Serra but... your homeworld is done for. All we can do is retreat and prepare a counter-attack... We must strike them while they haven't conquered many worlds... and we must find the Master of your world, Serra. You remember, the Chaos Essence? It exists in you world too... but under a different form and as a living being unstead of a power that can be used. We must find this being and get him to help us. Only he can supply us with the power needed to destroy the Guardians for while we can kill the "Ex" beings, as long as the Guardians themselves will live, we will never win... and the Guardians are gods and thus, do not fear physical death. Only Chaos's power can kill them for real." ... The Anti-Exs were having fun. Thanks to all the destruction, they were back almost to full power and were slaughtering the "Ex" beings. They were so easy to kill for them... ... The "Ex" beings approached Origin's tower entrance. Enemy #1: "Break that door open! Once inside, kill every being you see! No prisoners!" The "Ex" beings aimed at the door with their Dark Weapons. Whatever the stuff it's made out! Whatever the magic on it! Dark Weapons ignore all defenses and all magic! |

| Ex stared at Janus... Ex: "Well, you must be able to see souls or something like that." Ex smiled. Ex: "I'm not a goddess actually... I am a type of being which doesn't exist in your world... altought some confuse me for a goddess, others confuse me for a demon. I am an "Ex" being... the strongest type of creature that exist. However... we only exist in a single Possibility and since Possibility travel is actually... we send our memories, powers, and feelings beyond Time and Space. In short, I am truly a human... but I am a human infused with the consciousness of a being called "Ex Lightheart"... altought I am not truly possessed by "Ex Lightheart". It's quite confusing in theory but it's really simple actually..." Ex stood up. Ex: "I am a human who was given the memories and powers of a mortal that evolved beyond Time and Space. That's what I am truly. Sorry if the energy signature that my soul is giving is bothering you... but well, it's not my fault if my energy signature doesn't have quite the same shape as my body... and anyway, I bet that many of you aren't exactely human, aren't you?" Ex looked around... Ex: "Well well well... I think I may recognise some of the people in this room..." Ex turned to the two versions of Star. Ex: "I believe that trought a dimensional anomaly of some sort, we must have met, don't we? Can you remember anything?" Ex finally realised something! She had forgot to present herself! Ex: "OOPS! Just realised I didn't told everyone my name! I don't know I used to be before being infused with those memories... but since it seems the memory transfer was successful, you may call me "Ex Lightheart" as I believe to be an almost perfect incarnation of Ex Lightheart." |

| As Ex stared at the two versions of Star, she smiled. Their anwser had been a bit shorter than espected... well, much shorter to say the truth. Maybe they didn't wanted much to remember that incident?... very probable. The Chaos Heaven was, after all, probably the most nightmarish of all places. A place where no logic existed exept the logic of pain and despair... a place where no life-forms could exist, only twisted nightmares and feelings of hatred made physical by the awesome power of Evil incarnate, NeoBowser. A simple trip there was enough to break the mind of most creatures and as such, Ex tought that it wasn't surprising after all that Star hadn't given a long anwser... in fact, she should be surprised that she actually espected a long anwser. Maybe all those centuries travelling trought Possibilities gave her those twisted perceptions of what is "fun"? Anyway... all those toughts aren't going to lead her anywhere. Janus is probably going to explain everything and she can't wait for the explanation. She's hitching to see if Dark Weapon's transfer into this world is successful and if it is... she will most definitely want to slaughter a few thousands villains! |

| Dark Weapon *using telepathy*: "Well... the Guardians, unlike the Hunters, do not have a Mothership. Unstead of a Mothership, the Guardians keep a planet somewhere in the Universe. The problem is that becease of their technology, they could place it anywhere... on the surface of planets or moons... or even within stars! But the worst is when they place it within a pulsar or a black hole! As you must probably know... pulsars emmit enough magnetic waves to nuke any system in 0,000001 second and biological brains in 2 seconds. As for black holes... well... let's just say that 90% of the weight of the Universe is concentrated in those things so... I guess that says how strong is the gravity strenght of those things. Let's just hope the Guardians placed their main base at a location that isn't too crazy..." | |||

| Dark Weapon *telepathy*: "I doubt this ship could take on any of the Guardians' bigger ships actually. The Guardians possess more or less the same technology as the Hunters had after all... and it was this technology that created me as well as the specie Serra is a member of! Really... attacking their fleet would lead to our doom. What we need is to find their base and nuke it. The Guardians, unlike the Hunters, think that their leader is completely invincible and as such, did not prepare in case their leader would be killed. Furthermore, Serra is the prototype of an "Ex" being actually... which means that she lacks the mind-control chip and nano-bots that real, complete, "Ex" beings have. If the Guardians' leader was to fall... the Guardians' "Ex" beings would find themselves without anyone to guide them and would stop their constant assaults against our Possibility." ... During this time... ... The Anti-Exs were teleported in the tower. Lieutenant Shadow: "Errr... how did we got here?" Captain Dark: "OMG!!!111!!! "Ex" beings! KILL!!!1111!!!" Fierce Deity: "Whatever how we got here? There's more victims here! HAHAHA!" The Anti-Exs jumped toward the invading "Ex" beings and promptly started to hack them to pieces... but a single one slipped by, unnnoticed... |

| OFF: To Sonicandtails: Semi-original character! He's quite original but the fact that he's created from two existing characters stops me from calling it totally original. Anyway... I have one major pet peeve against your character... it's name. "Sonicandtails"... it's not possible to think of a more lame name in my opinion. Even something cliched like "Fusion" would have been better. ____________________________________________________________________ Ex: "Hmmm... this is weird but... this looks like a Fusion creature! Indeed, I can see it... the reason for this creature to be so strange is that two bodies and souls have been merged into a single one.... well, apparently. I cannot see clearly into their souls but that's what I can see for now." Ex approached the strange half-hedgehog, half-fox thingy... Ex: "You look like a mix of the hero of Dimension 9, Sonic, and his side-kick, Miles Prower. Are a clone or something?... or did the two merge into a single creature in this Possibility?" Ex smiled. She hoped nobody would notice that the human's eyes had turned white when she had received the memories and powers... for Ex was, in truth, "blind". She was blind in the way that her eyes didn't need to work... unstead, she was able to "see" with her very soul, thus allowing her to see beyond appearances. Varrying on how powerful the soul she is looking at what and how much of her power is unlocked, she would see more of the "target" soul... For now, since she was quite weak, she would only see the feelings of people... but as she would grow stronger, she would be able to see progressively their memories and even, eventually, their toughts. But for now... only the feelings of non-protected mortal souls. |

| Ex turned to Janus. Ex: "Saving three people like in Chrono Trigger, right?... and without causing a paradox? OK... got it. We're also going to fight a deity? I think I can help you..." Ex closed her eyes and began to concentrate and then... FLASH! Some kind of pendant appeared in Ex's right hand. She opened her eyes and looked at it, pleased by the result... Ex: "Just as I tought. Dark Weapon's transfer was a success. I'm definitely going to be an important part of your plan since Dark Weapon was transferred successfully. You see... Dark Weapon can stop time and ignore defenses, striking the soul thus damaging even immortal foes... as such, it will be useful in both saving the three Agents and destroying our first target, Algus." The pendant began to glow and then, it transformed into a sword! Ex: "I will make my soul resonate with all of the others and then, I will stop time at the moment the enemies will try to destroy the Agents giving you enough time to replace the originals with the dummies you created. Then, we'll all escape and I'll unfreeze time just when we finished escaping so no paradox is created." Ex paused. Ex: "As for Algus... well, Dark Weapon was created to defeat such targets. Unless Algus has special "Links" protecting his soul, I'll definitely be able to cut him into pieces." Dark Weapon was returned to the form of a pendant. Ex placed the pendant close to her heart... Ex: "I've been into many dangerous situations before and as such, I am not afraid and will stay with you until the end of this mission. I won't ask for anything in return for my services either. The mission itself shall be my reward..." Ex smiled again. Ex: "I have only a single question now... If I am the one who perform the finishing hit on the target, Algus... then may I feed his soul to Dark Weapon or must his soul survive for the sake of the timeline?" |

| OFF: Just a little note... When there is a *using telepathy* before Dark Weapon's speeches, then everyone can hear them (unless specified otherwise). If the *using telepathy* bit is missing, only Serra can hear Dark Weapon (since it is in fact Dark Weapon thinking but since Serra and Dark Weapon's minds are connected, each time one of the two thinks something, both hears it). ____________________________________________________________________ Dark Weapon *using telepathy*: "Well... where could be the Guardians' base now..." Suddenly, the ship received a transmission! It was the Guardians! ???: "Greetings mortals!" Dark Weapon: "This must be..." ???: "I am Dreickonis, the leader of the Guardians." Dreickonis paused... Dreickonis: "As you have seen... you mortals are absolutely no match for the might of the Guardians. You shall worship us and be our slaves for all eternity. You shall never have any rewards let alone our gratitude and you shall be forever thankful to us for allowing you to worship and serve us. You have no rights. In fact, he's considered to be the second worst disaster to have happened to the Universe after NeoBowser. I wonder how he was able to create "Ex" beings however... I tought that Project Ex was top-secret and that only the Admiral knew the exact DNA sequence to create "Ex" beings and Dark Weapons..." Dreickonis: "Now... I know that she is among you... the "legendary" retarded rat, Ex Lightheart! I know that you are here, Ex!... and I remember the defeat I suffered at your hands in the home Possibility!... but this time, it shall be different. Anyway! Our base is within the pulsar in the Graldus solar system at the location X1042 Y1953 Z2012. Why am I telling you this? Becease that our base is protected by a special force field which can only be broken using the 4 Good Elements!... and we have all 4 of them in our possession. If you hope to save your world from our domination... then you will have to defeat each of the Guardians wielding the 4 Elements... which is impossible, of course... but you can always try!" Dreickonis paused. Dreickonis: "The location of the first Element is just within your solar system, on the 9th planet. We are waiting for you, Ex!" The transmission ended. Dark Weapon: "This sounds rather fishy. Why would Dreickonis tell us the location of his base and the Elements like that, out of the blue? Sounds like a trap... but if what he says is true... then we don't have much choice." ... During this time... ... The "Ex" being's dark aura disappeared... but it's mind still seemed intact. The "Ex" being ignored the fact that it's protective aura was gone and decided to attack. The "Ex" being pointed Origin with it's Dark Weapon and time was frozen. "Ex" being: "Prepare yourself!" The "Ex" being dashed toward Origin and struck his chest with it's Dark Weapon! Then, she slashed Origin a second time! Then a third time! The fourth attack was directed at his legs. The fifth one was directed at his arms. As she executed the sixth hit, the "Ex" being jumped... and then, on the way down, she struck Origin one last time. This last attack was twice as strong as the last ones. Then, once she was done, the "Ex" being jumped away from Origin and time unfroze. Varrying on Origin's resistance to time-based attacks, he would or would not be struck by all hits... but one thing was sure: whatever he had done, the seventh hit had connected. Ex stared at the pendant. Ex: "HEY! Wake up!" The pendant opened itself and transformed into some kind of sword. Ex: "Good! So... how are you feeling? The transfer was a success, right?" Dark Weapon *thinks* Errr... no. Ex: "What do you mean, no?" Dark Weapon *thinks* Well... the fabric of Time and Space in this Possibility is very delicate and unstable and as such... none of my powers works in it. In short... not even my resistance works. I'm just a stupid iron sword. Talking about embarrassing... of course, I can always be revived easily but still... I'm just a stupid normal sword! How humliating... if Calibur would see me in this state... she would flip! Ex: "Just great... Dark Weapon has no powers in this Possibility... Well, do my Blaster handgun works in this world?" Dark Weapon *thinks* Yes it does. Ex: "Well... at least THAT works." The sword returned to the form of a pendant. Ex: "Well... you know, guys? It looks like Dark Weapon's transfer wasn't as successful as I first tought..." |

| The enemies, strangely enough, just stood there... Wizard Boss: "That mana stream won't protect you..." All of the wizards began to cast a spell... the way they were chanting the spell... Warrior: "Sir Rahl? The enemy wizards are uniting their powers in order to cast a single high-level spell! I'll try and keep the warriors occupied while you'll defeat the wizards." Warrior dashed toward the closest enemy warrior and tried to cut it into pieces with his sword... but strangely enough, the warrior didn't tried to counter-attack. Unstead, it just stepped out of the way. | OFF: If I understand the point of your last post correctly... then I must post the COMP's scanning results, right? Also... the Guardians' "Ex" beings cannot be defeated using conventionnal means since they are stronger than... well... just about every single being in the Possibility exept maybe Serra, Chaos, and Dreickonis. Notice that the Anti-Exs are not on the list... and yet, they kill tons of "Ex" beings with ease. Maybe they're exploiting some kind of flaw in the "Ex" beings' "programming" or something? <--Hint ____________________________________________________________________ "Ex" being: "COUNTER!" While stopping time didn't worked in Origin's tower... the flash that the Time Stop caused was still the signal that the enemy had once again used a Dark Overdrive! This time, it was a defensive one. The "Ex" blocked the spear attack with her Dark Weapon and proceeded to slash Origin in the chest with twice the attack power of Origin's attack! "Ex" being: "Hmph! Who do you think you are to think that you can win? I am an "Ex" being! A perfect living weapon! You won't last long!" Unfortunately, it was true. Origin was overpowered... and while the Time Stops wouldn't keep Origin from evading the "Ex" being's attacks, it still stopped Origin's attacks, thus allowing the "Ex" being to dodge even his strongest attacks as if it was nothing. Not only that but even if the dark aura was gone, it was obvious that there was LOTS of Life Force within this creature. It will take hours to beat it!... and by the time it will be defeated, many mores will have the time to come! Maybe there could be an easier (and faster) way to eliminate those things? ... During this time... ... During this time, on the lower floors, the Anti-Exs continued to fight. They had killed so many enemies they had stopped counting. The floor and most of the walls were covered with the blood of defeated enemies and the floor was almost completely covered with bodies... and yet, more enemies still came! It seemed like a never-ending flow... Lieutenant Shadow: "They're never-ending or what?!?" Fierce Deity: "Whoever reach 1000 kills last pays 20 bucks to each of the others!" Assassin: "Processing information. I shall not give 20 credits to all other allies for I will eliminate 1000 targets before allied units do so." Captain Dark: "Yo yo YO man!" Captain Dark executed his famous Falcon Punch (a move he copied and enhanced from a famous bounty hunter), making a nearby "Ex" being's chest litteraly explode on impact. For some reason, it seemed as if the "Ex" being had made no real effort to avoid the attack... |

| OFF: Actually, Neoterra was entirely and completely destroyed. The continent was no reduced to a wasteland... it's just... gone. Like: completely gone. Where they was a continent, there's just water... well, that what I understood from Dracoon's posts. Anyway... ____________________________________________________________________ Ex looked around... Great! Apparently, no one is here! Ex closed her eyes and concentrated... and then, a portal appeared above her. Her usual clothes appeared. She put them on and began to wonder why the clothes didn't appeared on her and why she had to actually teleport them in. Once she was done, Ex looked around. Where was Odin? Did she appeared at wrong place or something? |
