| Meteo Prime smiled... Meteo Prime: "What a foolish attitude... you are talking about the Dark Kings, legendary Dark Forces! Death Seraph is a weakling compared to them! I strongly doubt the Guardians stand a chance against the UEN, even with their so-called "Doom Angels". Anyway... it is now time for you to face your fate!" The Meteo Prime began to emmit darkness... Meteo Prime: "May you drown into the emptiness of your own soul! Farewell, fool!" ETERNUM! Everything went dark around Seph... Ex: "This is my very last message. In order for the soul to be complete, the test must be completed. The final test is the death of your incarnations. Only then, you shall be reborn under your true form. Many beings before you attempted this test... but being an "Ex" being is not enough to survive the test. As your incarnations' souls will be merged, you will relive all of your life in a mere second or two... and all the emotions born from this experience will kill you... unless you truly is worthy. If you are the one, then you must not allow your own hatred to devour you. Do not let the emptiness devour your soul! Fight it back with all of your positive feelings! For it is the true power of the "Ex" beings, the reason why they can survive this terrible attack! "Ex" beings can summon the past and future to oppose the evils of the present. Go ahead and use your happy memories, hopes for the future, and positive feelings to repel the emptiness of the Eternum spell!" Thousands of blades made of emptiness came out from nowhere and pierced Seph's incarnations, transforming them into pure soul energy. Then, the soul energy was merged into a single soul... the real Seph... The final blade began to fall from the sky... it was now or never. Either Seph repelled this last blade and succeeded the test, either he would fall, dead. FKitten Yiffer was not an option. |

| Off: Realised that this post lacked something very important: the second part of the post, actually! Anyway... tell me when you edited your post. ____________________________________________________________________ The gigantic blade crashed into Seph... SCLANK! But unstead of killing him, the last blade shattered on impact! Meteo Prime: "Hmph! I was wrong! You ARE the one... alright then! Open your eyes now! See what you once was... and once again is." When Seph opened his eyes, the incarnations were gone and his body had changed... or should I say, her body had changed. Seph had returned to her original form. Her physical appearance was similar to what was once Ex's. However, she was a bit smaller and she didn't have blonde hair, like Ex had. Unstead of deep blue eyes, Seph's eyes were green. Meteo Prime: "Shocking, isn't it? That's right, Seph! You're, in fact, a ZX-104 "Ex"... and you are also a girl. Anyway! Most, if not all of your friends will not recognise you for most of them never knew you when you was truly yourself." The Meteo Prime paused and made a few steps toward Seph... Meteo Prime: "Well... I guess my task ends here... and yours start now. Now, I will tell you what Zerodius has told Ex, before what should have been the final battle, years ago. The true power of the Dark Weapon is not it's dark power... it is it's power to mimic and amplify the power of it's wielder's soul. When the final battle will finally happen and that the source of all Evils will oppose to you everyone's hatred, you must use the Dark Weapon to oppose it with everyone's hope. Just like you were able to keep Eternum from consuming you, you must keep Evil from consuming our world. Now, I will teleport you back to the entrance... finally... I'm going to get some sleep..." Seph was teleported at the entrance. The door closed itself tight right after Seph was teleported outside. From the looks of it, it's not the kind of door Seph will be able to open. Seph heard a voice in her head... Dark Weapon: "Seph isn't it? Ex's memory image told me everything about you. I've been sealed here for years... I can't wait to see the light of the stars again! But that's beside the point. According to what Ex memory image told me before vanishing, you should first return to your friends. I do not know how they will react when they will see what you truly are but I guess that it would be nice of you to show them that you actually survived the trip trought the Energy Shrine. Furthermore, you can't go fight the UEN all alone, do you? You will need help from both your old friends and get yourself new allies." The voice paused... Dark Weapon: "Something is approaching, Seph!" Two "Ex" beings model ZX-109 teleported next to Seph... The two "Ex" beings were staring at Seph in disbelief... 8-01: "Hey, 8-02!" 8-02: "What is it, 8-01?" 8-01: "Well... I tought that all ZX-104 "Ex" beings had either comitted suicide or were killed long ago." 8-02: "Yeah... it's weird that we have a ZX-104 "Ex" being just in front of us, right now, while the last one died about a century ago..." The "Ex" being know as "8-01" made a few steps toward Seph. 8-01: "I do not know if you're some kind of memory image or something like that... but if you seen the life form know as "Seph"... be sure to tell us! Vice-Admiral... I mean Admiral Blakes is worried that Seph may have not been able to survive his journey. Furthermore, his son and his friends are worried sick. After all, it has been several months since he entered the Energy Shrine and was never heard of again." 8-02: "We could really use his help! For some reason, the UEN suddenly returned to full power and all of it's Dark Kings returned! Also, Ex vanished mysteriously and is nowhere to be found. Worse, the Guardians have perfected their "Ex" beings thus becoming a serious threat to us... but us, the Hunters, we still keep losing more and more agents as they turn to the Guardians. As long as the Guardians are busy fighting the UEN, we're OK but... the situation is bad... real bad..." | In FS on the GBA, there is no AI controlled players. When there's 3 players, there's 3 links. When there's only 2 players, there's only 2 links. Also, the dungeons are scaled down when there's only 2 or 3 players. (edited by Zerodius on 07-22-04 01:04 AM) |

During the Apocalypse, we began the war by proving our superiority to the world by destroying Heaven... and I think that we need to impress the world once again... it is time to show the world that we are back and that we mean business!" (Everyone but Mewtwo and ???): "YES!" All Dark Kings (exept Mewtwo) left... two other beings came... Kregan: "Sir! The Black Baron is here!" Black Baron: "It is a honor to meet you. | Off: There were NOT transmissions! The Dark Kings were discussing inside of an unknow location... but since the way the post turned was interesting, I'll overlook this. However, I would like to point out that Ex Lightheart is NOT Seph's mother. In fact, it is pretty much the opposite. Ex is Seph's grand-child... exept that she is not truly Seph's child since Seph never gave birth during her original life. Ex was created using Seph's DNA. True, pure "Ex" beings are created genetically, hence Zerodius being called their "father". Children of "Ex" beings aren't true "Ex" beings, they are half "Ex" beings. It is impossible for a "Ex" being's child to be a real, pure "Ex" being since ALL "Ex" beings ever created were females. "Ex" beings are not designed to be merged. Also, "Ex" beings lost a large percentage of their power when merged. While the being born from the fusion will be more than powerful enough to face NeoBowser in terms of raw power... I fear that this being's chances are lesser than what would be Seph's chances if she was alone. Remember, NeoBowser has more than just raw power. In order to defeat gods that were thousands times more powerful than he is, NeoBowser has designed and created many deadly spells and techs. These techs inflict damage on both the body and soul and break most know defenses. NeoBowser's mind control techs will make short work of the merged being... and if it is not enough, then all that NeoBowser will have to do is yell "Eternum" once and it will be all over. Only Seph can take this spell. Nobody else can." Z-0 stopped. It was as if he was listening to someone else... someone that only he could hear. Z-0: "Zerodius has just told me... Seph, stop doubting yourself. Stop relying on exterior power sources such as fusions or summons. Seph, just like Ex, has no use for exterior power sources. When you will step trought it, you will bypass the Prison Dimension and see Dimension 0 under it's true form... however, becease of the way these Windows works, you will not be real. Only the one who has brought you there will be able to see and hear you... and only he will be able to bring you back in the Universe. Be careful, Seph. Many a mortal has went into the Dimension 0 using such Windows and got stuck. While they are harmless to us, True Gods, their collective hatred is very powerful and if they spot you, they will without a doubt try to use you as an emotional punching bag." |

| As Seph walked trought the vortex... nothing happened... or so it seemed. Everything around Seph became more and more detailed until the world became so detailed that Seph seemed awfully out of place in this new world. It was as if he was a drawing in the middle of the real world... Next to him was a human being. Even if Seph couldn't se his face, for some reason, he recognised him instantly... Zerodius: "So... you came. I bet you must be disappointed. Shocking, isn't it? We, True Gods, are merely humans in our own world... we do not even have any powers. You too, doesn't have any power, either. Also, most if not all of our technology cannot be used in this world. However, it is still our home and it is also the birthplace of the Universe. Every single being was imagined and then created in this small world... However, I am not here to tell you all this. I am here to tell you about your fate. Seph, I will not hide it to you... Few are the "Ex" beings who escape their fate. "Ex" beings have been programmed to defeat Evil and then to self-terminate when their job is done so that their destructive powers may never be used to revive Evil. Also, "Ex" beings are programmed to self-terminate if they live so that they may never lose hope..." Zerodius paused... Zerodius: "I bet that you heard of Erdrick, right? Erdrick was one of the very first "Ex" beings ever created. She was an impressive warrior and her deeds were legendary. However, as all "Ex" beings, she was destined to self-terminate herself. When she reached the age of 35, Erdrick met with an enemy called Zemos. Zemos was just an ordinary lesser demon. A mere tool for his superior masters... However, Zemos knew Erdrick's weakness... he knew her Dance of Insanity. He also knew that when Erdrick would reach the age of 35, she would be ready to do it mentally... so, the two began the Dance of Insanity. Erdrick was being slashed, cut, beaten up and didn't fought back... all that she wanted was for death to come... for death was the only thing that she ever cared for... or so she tought at first. When the Dance of Insanity was about to end and Erdrick to be killed, it is then that a miracle happened." Zerodius smiled. Zerodius: "All of a sudden, she seen her entire life in front of her eyes... she saw her husband and her 5 children... she saw the people she had saved... and the people she had fought. She seen the hapiness on the face of everyone... then, she asked herself if it was really important. It could have been any other "Ex" being after all, isn't it? ...or is it truly the case? Erdrick seen all the hope, all the hapiness she had brought to all those she had knew... and realised that she hadn't achieved all those deeds becease that she an "Ex" being... but becease that she was Erdrick, the one and only. She had became such a hero not becease of skill alone but becease of her dreams... her family... her people... her enemies. When Zemos finally awakened all the hidden hatred inside of Erdrick's heart, Erdrick fought it with all of her might and returned the hatred at Zemos. Zemos, panicked, escaped. Erdrick had overcame her own fate. Her legend had ended. Erdrick now lives in a forgotten dimension, with her family, free from the curse of the Dance of Insanity. She knows that even if Zemos was to return, all those she knows will come to her help, whenever they may be alive or not. She knows that her life is worth living." Zerodius stared deep into Seph's eyes... Zerodius: "Erdrick wasn't the only "Ex" being who escaped. While Ex Lightheart died during the final battle, she had overcame, before the final battle, her own fate when she faced Siryx, the legendary Anti-Ex. While the "Ex" beings who escape their fate are few, they do exist. Seph, you could be or could not be able to escape your own fate. When finally, you will face the final challenge... you will see your own life, Seph. Whenever you are able or not able to escape your fate is merely up to you. Ask yourself this question, Seph... Are you merely the "Ex" being who will save the world... or are you Seph, the one and only savior of Humanity?" On these words, Zerodius sent Seph back into the Universe... While it seemed as if Seph had spent an awfully long time in Dimension 0, she found out that not even a single second had gone by in the Universe... |

| All the clones were hit. Since it was the beginning of the fight, the clones were weak and thus couldn't handle the strenght of the explosions. As they were reduced to ashes, new clones were teleported in the arena. | Well... If you count EVERY character... Giga Bowser's Blizzard. He spins in his shell, summoning a HUGE blizzard that is just as cool-looking as it is deadly! Crazy Hand's counter attack when he get hit too much is cool too. He falls on the ground and roll around as if he was feeling intense pain (more often than not, it should be the case!). Cool-looking! If you're talking about playable characters... Roy's Flare Blade creates a big explosion. A really cool-looking attack in my opinion! Link's Spin Attack doesn't need explanation. It kicks ass in every single game in which Link appear. I was also impressed by Fox's & Falco's upward special attack (Fire Fox/Falco I think). It looks quite cool both when charging and when the actual attack is executed. |
