"Hi, I'm new to this board. I looked around for a while, and thought this is a neat place. My name is Mike. I enjoy studying languages, watching Star Trek, posting at message boards, and even collecting board sources (odd hobby, eh? ). I hope I'll fit in well!" ^^^Proof I read the sticky. My real name is Andrew, I'm 14, and interested in making my own games and levels. Stumbling upon Lunar Magic's Super Mario World Editor some minutes ago I said "Cool, let's download it!" Unfortunately, the download doesn't seem to be working for me. I'm sure that if it's not a personal issue, it's already been answered elsewhere in the site, but I'm not about to go digging in 50 pages of threads for it. All seems to download well, however the .zip folder I get has nothing in it, and a message says it's corrupt when I try to open it or extract the files. Does anyone know what I can do? I'm really interested in it... I'll greatly appreciate any help! Well, um. Yeah. |

Well, funnily, I guessed the right answer to my issue with downloading Lunar Magic. I had to hit "Open" instead of "Save." Ah, well, whatever. It's been a long time since my first visit here, with this being my second. Thanks for the welcoming, everyone. Now I have a new issue, but I'm going to address it to the proper forum. |

Is it possible to do either of the following? 1. Have path events happen, then have Mario move, then make visible events happen. (Example - closing of the gate to Bowser's Valley after exiting it) 2. Use events to make a path unwalkable on until something else is done later. (Example: You leave Bowser's Valley, and the gate closes, and you're not able to get back in, but after complete a certain level, it reappears and the path is useable again.) If either or both are possible, please tell me how, and if not, tell me that. Thanks, Ashtoro A reply would have been nice. I'd rather have my hopes down rather than have it hanging off a cliff. *sigh* It makes me question the reliability of this forum. (edited by Ashtoro on 09-10-05 01:53 AM) |
