I haven't been here in a LONG time, and as such I have no clue if there is a search feature, because I cannot seem to find it. Any help would be appriciated.

Yeah, I made sure to read that before posting. Though I noticed just now there was a thread with the exact same name on page two dealing with this subject. I'm sorry about that.

I used to go by Shinji ______, with blank being either Ikari or some other weird combination. I just remembered about this place tonight because I saw some of ACMLM's Tool-assisted Speed Runs here: http://bisqwit.iki.fi/nesvideos/

Sounds like KATW got these questions from a store application / interview form =P EDIT: Whoops, forgot to add my responses: Q: Are you passive (Wont fight in situations, talk it out) or aggressive (Would rather fight in situations instead of talking)? A: Was aggressive when I was young, but mostly passive now. Q: Are you a leader (Direct everyone around, keep things on the right track, control groups, etc...) or a follower (Do things for others, follow directions/orders, get stuff done on someone elses terms, etc...) A: I tend to lead, but only if I am fluent at the subject at hand. Q: Do you work better in large groups (Any number greater than say, 5) small groups (between 5 and 2 people) or by yourself (Just you) A: I love to work as a team, but sadly I always end up working alone xD Q: Are you chatty (Like to converse with people) or silent (not the talkative type) A: Chatty. Definitely. (edited by Kedohin on 08-13-05 03:01 AM) (edited by Kedohin on 08-13-05 08:06 PM) |

I believe my family only had one or two garage sales ever, we made some money off of the stuff but it was mostly so we could clear out the garage / attic, so we didn't mind hagglers. I'll never forget the day I saw someone selling a TurboGraphix-16 for $4 because there was no power cord, though =P |

I'm not sure if it is acceptable to post 3d renders here, but I see them as art, too. =D I've been learning 3ds max for a while now (a couple of years) just by teaching myself, figured I would show you some of the things I have made so far for fun. Coke Can: Just a coke can I made, I was playing around with HDR textures. Back view: Gradius Fruit Snacks: I was making this for a friend who is a huge Gradius fan. Now that I think about it, I haven't finished this yet. Hopefully I'm not messing up big time by posting this here! ^^; |

Ah, thank you! ^^; Yeah, it's all done with High Dynamic Range imagery; that's what makes the reflections and such look real. I am using another plug-in (not the default one) for lighting which makes things like shadows look photorealistic. As for learning 3ds max, All it takes is a stroll through the help file and maybe a tutorial or two, though books on the subject never hurt, either I'll be sure to show any more stuff I create with it here. In fact I think I might go make something now! =D |
