I'm not really sure how you're going to make Mario start at world A for a SMB1 hack, though. You'll have to do something like this:
World A of SMB2j would be World 1 in the hack
World B of SMB2j would be World 2 in the hack, etc.
Unless you can make Mario start at World A and you can put levels in worlds A-D. If you can do that, state which worlds you want the green springs to be in. I don't remember which worlds from A-D had green springs.

I think that "swim jump" are as unclear as my descriptions, but I will try to rephrase them:
Swim Jump - Swim Height (as in how hight Mario goes when he swims)
Swim Jump 1 is the swim height when not near a hole or a cannon (which pull you down)
Swim Jump 2 is the swim height when near a hole or cannon

I've read that 4matsy was making a translation of S.M.B. Remodeler. Maybe he could share his translations with us?

Well I'm pretty sure he translated a version older than this one, but they can still help us with other things.

Great job so far, Dcharakos. I suggest you should try to shorten some of the english translations, though. But you've done great, so keep it up.

Welcome to Acmlm's Board, JRK! Remember to not flame, not spam, and read and FOLLOW the FAQ until the board no longer exists. Since you are a SMW hacker, you can post any questions or post about your hacks here. Be sure to read all the stickies that may contain answers to your questions and use your favorite search engine to look for websites that may contain answers and use Google and type in "words to look for site:board.acmlm.org" to look for answers is old threads first before asking. Oh yeah, read this before asking for editors. Anyway, I hope you have a great time here!

I'm sure that Dcahrakos and dan will find this useful. Some of those things were just moved in the latest 2.07 version, like the fireballing/starmanning section. I might put pics (with captions) that show where some of the things you translated are located in the latest version. You did a great job there, 4matsy.

I believe dan means that you should just stick with the emulators that "suck".

1. 2005 looks a bit weird like that. I think you should switch the colors.
2. Same as 1., but I also think the Lava Lotus looks weird being inside the ground blocks. Try to put it on the ground instead.
3. Why is the Lakitu in the cloud looks like he's on the cloud? Try to make it look like he's in the cloud, unless this would occur in the original SMW.
4. I'll assume the green blobs are replacements for hammers. In that case, I think that the Hammer Brother should be some blob monster or something like that.
5. Not bad. Nothing to improve in that, really.
6. See 5.
7. Looks a bit empty, and that block in the screen looks odd. The top edge looks cut off. Try to add an edge to that block.
8. See 5.
9. See 5., except that I think you should add more stuff.
10. Weird blue (not the same color as water) stuff below the islands and weird orange stuff near the islands. The thing at the top also looks a bit weird. Try to add edges to that thing.

Wow, Dr. Mario! That looks really cool! But I suggest changing the castle block graphics. They kinda look weird. If you would like to improve the title screen, I know 2 editors that edit the title screen (Mana's and some other Japanese hacker named Beta's editors). I'll explain how to use Beta's editor in a thread some time later.

Welcome back, ZTaimat. Relive the fun non-spammy, non-flame, and board-appropiate posting experience! According to what I read, this is how you got unbanned:
Someone named Xkeeper hacks the board. One of his hacking actions include making almost everybody an admin.
Spoiler:
HyperHacker...
...is one of those who were admined. He set anyone who were admined by the hacker (Xkeeper) back to "normal power levels". I think that's how you were unbanned.
But if you make good posts from now on, you deserve to be unbanned. So welcome back, and remember to review the FAQ, and follow it ths time to stay unbanned.

You may have a LOT of RAM, but its possible that you may not meet the other requirements. Check if your computer meets these requirements:
- 3D Hardware Accelerator Card Required - 100% DirectX® 9.0b compatible 64MB - Hardware Accelerated video card and the lateset drivers*.
- English verision of Microsoft® Windows® 2000/XP
- Pentium®IV 1.5 GHz or Athlon® XP 1500+ processoror higher
- 384MB RAM
- 8x Speed CD-ROM drive (1200KB/sec sustained transfer rate) and latest drivers
- 2.2GB of uncompressed free hard disk space (plus 400MB for Windows® swap file)
- 100% DirectX® 9.0b compatible 16-bit sound card and the latest drivers
- 100% Windows® compatible mouse, keyboard, and latest drivers
- DirectX® 9.0b (included)
*Important Note: Some 3D accelerator cards with the chipset listed here may not be compatible with the 3D accelerator features utilized by Doom 3. Please refer to your hardware manufacturer for 100% DirectX 9.0b compatibility. This product does not support Microsoft® Windows® 95/98/ME or NT.

Supported Chipsets

- ATI® RadeonTM 8500
- ATI® RadeonTM 9000
- ATI® RadeonTM 9200
- ATI® RadeonTM 9500
- ATI® RadeonTM 9600
- ATI® RadeonTM 9700
- ATI® RadeonTM 9800
- All nVidia® GeForceTM 3/Ti series
- All nVidia® GeForceTM 4MX series
- All nVidia® GeForceTM 4/Ti series
- All nVidia® GeForceTM FX series
- nVidia® GeForceTM 6800

If you don't have any of that or anything that's more powerful, then that could be why you can't play. If you do meet the requirements, well, my brother just found a CD crack to play Doom 3, because it froze at the splash screen when you load it up from the CD. Search for a CD crack, but with the CD crack, you can't play multiplayer.

Alright. But I'm too lazy to put up an IPS. Patch any of the patches to a ROM. Go to $3434 and write 20, 20, 1E, 28, and 28. Good thing you bumped, because I updated the SMB3 patches. If you want the normal bounce heights when stomping on enemies, change $59BF to FD and $5A02 to FC, and if you want the original small Mario jump sound for small Mario, change $3529 to 80.

I seem to have loads of trouble trying to do this. Continue working on those levels, and I'll insert them to a hack that has pratically all of the SMB2j features. Should that have to happen, please don't just credit me in the readme, but these Japanese ROM hackers named MHS and Beta, in which they together done most of the coding for putting the SMB2j features in the hacks with those SMB2j features. That would mean that this would be a mini group project with me and insectduel (insectduel does the levels, I revise to fit the new SMB2j features).

Welcome to the board, blankpika007! Live the fun non-spammy, non-flame, and non-bad bump (posting in a thread that is over a week old, I think, but just ask a mod or admin first before posting in threads that are over a week old) posting experience! If you want to be less noobish as possible, it's a good start to read and FOLLOW the FAQ. The FAQ is good for answers to very basic questions of the board and also has 99% of the board rules. Also, if you have a question, read the forum stickies [and forum announcements] and use your favorite search engine first before asking. Anyway, I hope that you have a great time here!
