I knew someone would mention the one with Paul Reubens. >( Well, I enjoyed it...maybe if just because I enjoy my Pee-wee.

Spriggan was right crappy. Akira is a cool movie, though, with a real bitchin' soundtrack.

Currently, using the term "rock" appropriately and not listing a bunch of metal bands I'll say The Darkness. YEAH!!! This shit's gold. I thought they were just a novelty thing when I saw the video for "I Believe in a Thing Called Love", but their album is definitely one worth getting. Awesome music...great vocal melodies... I love it.

Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory is admittedly catchy and kind of good, but if I want to listen to annoying pop music, I'm much more partial to t.A.T.u.

Click here. Aside from h3llb3nt's Hardcore Vanilla (which haloblack's bryan black has a huge part in), I'd say that this album is the best industrial-related album to come out in years, and is probably the first gem to be released in 2004.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I bought a considerable amount of CDs that were released last year, and so I came up with a list of all the ones I've heard so far and really, really like. There's no real order to this list...and there are more albums that had been released, but these are the ones I get the most enjoyment out of.

SikTh - The Trees Are Dead & Dried out, Wait for Something Wild
AFI - Sing the Sorrow
Coheed and Cambria - In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3
Psychotica - Pandemic
The Devin Townsend Band - Accelerated Evolution
Cradle of Filth - Damnation and a Day
KMFDM - WWIII
Strapping Young Lad - SYL
ohGr - SunnyPsyOp
Static-X - Shadow Zone

Profoundly good CDs, in my opinion, all of them. Exactly 10... So I guess that's my top-10 or something.

Some song off Botch's We Are the Romans is cycling my head. That is such an excellent album, easily one of the best metal albums I've heard, and definitely the best metalcore I've yet listened to. Ah, words just cannot describe the beauty of this piece... It's out of print, but I got it factory-sealed from Amazon Marketplace.

Aye... She's a beaut, all right.

Blast! To believe I'd actually forgotten Cave In's Antenna in this list. And Children of Bodom's Hate Crew Deathroll came out too, and what a swank album it is. The Darkness' Permission to Land is also real swank.

I might as well just list off all the rest of the albums from last year that I liked in some way or another.

Bile - Frankenhole: The Reanimation of Dead Tissue

Doesn't matter what you bought, just what you heard and thought to be really good albums.

I anticipate this game like no other. (Actually, it's the only upcoming game that I actually have interest in.) It'll be ooone smooooth riiide once it's out, or so I hope. Anyone familiar with the Thief series? I gotta tell you that, before I played Thief: The Dark Project, I was a big first-person shooter gamer. After Thief, after experiencing its level of interactivity and completing all of the fun mission objectives (play it on the hardest mode, as it gives you more), I've come to be bored with FPS.

The official Thief: Deadly Shadows site makes me squirm with delight.

The one I've played and adored the most over the years is Castlevania IV, so, I voted for that.

Depends. At times I'll blind-buy a CD because of a friend's recommendation, or I'll be impressed by a couple songs I heard from someone else's CD or computer that I'll buy it myself. I do download quite a bit, however, and most of the time I download full albums. That's the only way I can really tell if I'll like the album. Usually I'll keep those MP3s until I get around to buying the CD, though that's not always the case. At times I'll just download an album, get rid of the MP3s, and not ever buy that CD. I feel it's a smart thing to do, and if I'm a bastard for it, then so be it.

Last night I downloaded Air's Talkie Walkie. On track 4, and I like it all so far. I intend on buying this eventually.

I reserved Castlevania: Lament of Innocence at EB for the music CD that came with it. Those bonuses are a real nifty catch. Pre-ordering Zelda: Wind Waker gave me the bonus disc. Cool stuff like that.

I started online, at-home college courses in January of last year. Around the middle or end of March that year, I put off my classes for a while. I've been putting them off to this day. I'm surprised that the state actually came through to pay for 2 additional semesters to finish off my geography course. I'm such a bastard, and I've wasted so much time. I have a serious procrastination problem.

My momma's working. From early in the morning to evening, she's working. Works for AT&T I believe, doing whatever the hell she's supposed to do.

To keep it short, years back I registered to The Castlevania Dungeon message board as castlevania freak (as it had been my email address name for years prior). Kept that name for a few months, and then changed my name to Abnormal Child, due to my sick fascination with the song "Wicked Child" from the first NES Castlevania game. That same day, however, I took the best parts from both names, and decided upon Abnormal Freak. I've used this baby for over 3 1/2 years now.

I need to get that Probot album. And Air's Talkie Walkie. 2004 sounds exciting. Already, one of the best industrial albums in a long ass time has come out, about a month ago: throb. by haloblack. More exciting stuff to come...

Supermetroidsupermetroidsupermetroidsupermetroidsupermetroid. I abso-frickin'-lutely LOVE that game. Easily one of my top 10 favorite games. The rest are pretty cool... The first is terribly repetitive, the second is great but seriously needs a map, Prime is spiffy and a damn good game but I haven't even finished it nor played it in forever, Fusion is...meh, and Zero Mission I ought to check out.
