Well, we used to have the General Language forum, but it was removed. I love reading Dutch, though, because, even though I've never been to the Netherlands, or taken a single Dutch class in my life, I can understand most Dutch simply because it's close to both German and Norwegian, both of which are langauges I speak..

The weird thing about posting drunk is that you tend to mash the buttons on the keyboard, in stead of typing on them, much like you try to over-articulate whenever you speak when you're drunk. Oh, and when you make mistakes, you don't seem to bother to correct them, when you're drunk. That's why the posts were all not-so-good.

Oh, and I've posted drunker on this board before, but then my typing was even worse...

And my second post goes to show my typical drunken arrogant attitude...

And finally, typing that URL, www.beerisgoodforyou.com, that was hard, hard, hard, I remember...

PS: NSNick: The beer is so expensive in this country, that no party can have free beer. All of them are byobs. Even now, that beer has taken a large price cut (just a little over one dollar for a 0.33 L bottle in shops, but still six dollars for half a liter in pubs), the thought of giving out free beer is strange to Norwegians. That's why being a quizmaster at a pubquiz rocks, because of the free beer.

I'm 18 years old.

I want to work with some sort of diplomacy (international politics). Maybe with the Department of Foreign Affairs (in my native country Norway), or in some sort of embassy/consulate. To help me on the way, I've applied for different political studies in universties in Norway and abroad. As for family, I don't really have anything planned. Hopefully, something will come along some day.

Well, I drink and smoke, but I've never tried marijuana or any illegal substances, so, nope I don't think alcohol has been a gateway drug in my case. Also, if you're going to look at things the way you look at it, simply breathing is the gateway to drugs...

Oh, and I'd just like to mention something about the whole China thing, not that it matters. China has only 1 billion citizens, and the place is officially atheistic (China is, after all, still a communist country (contrary to what it may seem with the opening up of the last decade), and communism is still atheistic (religion being opium to the people and all)). It does have many Buddhists among its people though (even though the government preaches atheism, the people goes its own ways), but there are also lots of believers in Confucius. Saying that India is Buddhist is just completely wrong, though. India is a Hinduistic country, with a significant minority of followers of Islam (around 11%, or 100 million, if you like ).

I think we all know what Pulp Fiction is. His question wasn't directed at anything, I'm guessing...

Anyway, I think we all also know that, what I've been saying all along is true, Natalie Portman is the hottest of all.

My friend prefers Uma as a redhead, like when she is Poison Ivy. I prefer Uma in Gattaca, but she would be best if she was like Natalie Portman, since Natalie is better than Uma.

A: As I already said in the AIM convo, way to go with a Hot Shots! reference in the thread title.

B: I think it's great that you're starting the strip up again... Maybe we should remake an Aelj-site, hmm?

C: Looks good so far. An improvement from the last strips, graphically.

D: It is Sweden and Finland together that looks like a Wang, if you remove Norway. This was actually an argument used for Norway entering the EU, because Sweden and Finland on the Euro coins looked indecent without Norway.

From what I've read of statements by Natalie, she's not at all stupid. Did you see her in Leon (The Professional), by the way?

Actually, you weren't. Do some research. If you had looked at the CIA World Factbook, you'd see that China only has 1,286,975,468, as of July 2003, and only one sixth of the world's population is Chinese.

Well, I looked at the post above, and, considering how you made no effort to retract your statements, I figured you still believed that China had 2 billion citizens. Besides, no need for the hostility.

Well, I think it's quite obvious that if you don't like Oasis, you're going to HELL!

No, really, I think it's ok to have different tastes in music, and it's ok to discuss what's best and why. But to think that someone is worse than others, simply because of their taste in music is stupid (of course, if you happen to love Oasis, that gives you an extra happy-star in my book )

You've just attracted the wrath of me, and all of the part of Europe that stretches from the low-countries, through Germany, and into the Czech Rep (that's a lot of people ). Beer is the tastiest beverage on earth, great for all kinds of situations. What could possibly be better to do than to enjoy a cold glass of cold beer on your front porch on a hot summer-day?

I smoke when I drink. It's not a real night out until you've had a couple of beers and a few cigarettes, y'know. So I'll put "somtimes", then.

I'm afraid you're wrong, regarding Creationism being the bigger. In the USA, around 50% of the people believe in Creationism, yes, but that's only in the USA. If you go to Europe, only an extremely small minority of very devout Christians believe in Creationism, most have accepted Evolution.
