Well, it doesn't actually say in the Russ handbook, but it's pretty much a de facto law. Now, is it just me, or was this year filled with heaps more political voting than usual? One of the funniest moments were when the Andorran jury gave 12 points to Spain, and, with reference to the country's proximity to Spain, one of my friends said "give us 12 points or we'll invade your pathetic country". Other than that, the best song was Turkey yesterday. But as the vote progressed, I eventually got an "anybody, but Ukraine"-stance, because all my other friends were rooting for Ukraine a lot, and I didn't think the song was that good (it was ok, but nothing more), so it was me against them, and I lost, damnit... |

Generally, bumping a two-week-old-thread to post a joke which isn't even funny is not a good way to become popular, Mr. Kurama. Besides, I believe two weeks is the limit we set on bumps, which means this'll have to be closed.

Well, we don't have High School sports in this country, people play sports in clubs outside of High School. Anyway, for years I played (Association) Football, I was a goalkeeper for many years, and a fairly good one (for being as young as I was, anyway). Then I quit that, and became a defender, mostly playing left back, which was fun. I eventually quit football because I wasn't good enough, but I still love the sport with all my heart (anyone who doesn't love it has lost a little part of what you have to be to be a true human being ). I went on to play volleyball for some years, and did fairly good, but I eventually quit it this winter, even though I still like it. Now, I might actually start playing rugby, my friend brought me to one practice in the neighbour-city (we don't have a team here, my friend wants to start a team, though), and it was pretty fun. I also played golf for a year, when I was in High School the states (so, technically, golf is the only High School-sport I've ever done).

Exactly, having "nul points" is better. Especially if you're Norway, since we're the country in the world with the most "nul points" ever! < |

I don't remember who said it, but he said something along the lines of "songs not in English won't ever win. What was the last non-English song to win? Diva, by Dana International? Well, listen to the chorus, that's not Hebrew, that's English! Then what? Nocturne? Hah, Nocturne had no words! So you'll have to go back to F

I've made up my mind and I don't think it was right to drop nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. |

Ok, I think you guys have dragged the whole pedantically-precise-about-the-meaning-of-the-word-UFO long enough now. It's clearly a case of mis-translation. See, in Norwegian (which is the langauge of the thread-starter), we have taken the word UFO from the English langauge and used it as a word for a Flying Saucer with Aliens onboard, and nothing but that. Thus, the obvious choice of words for the thread-starter was UFO. It was a mis-translation, that's all, so could you please answer what it was obvious what the question was meant to be, in stead of being stupidly pedantic?

FreeDOS: I'm fully aware of that, I was just trying to explain the misunderstanding caused by the different languages (the thread-starter is, after all, Norwegian, not American).

Guano Apes - Lords Of The Boards Yeah, I started to listen to Guano Apes some days ago, when I was exposed to them after having heard nothing but techno for nearly two weeks (not volunteeringly, mind you). Compared to techno, Guano Apes was a definite step up, and even though I'm normally into the more mellow slow types of rock, this is actually quite good. So I went and downloaded this one and Proud Like A God, and Guano Apes is a definite "yes", and a nice change from the more calm music I normally listen to. |

w00t, Clerks! I'm afraid I don't know too much about cosplaying to be able to state whether or not it's good, but, hey, to me (the untrained eye), them looks pretty neat them costumes does. |

We only have McDonald's in my town. However, I don't go there. If I want fast food, I'll usually go down to the town square and buy a Kebab from one of the Kebab-shops. Good stuff, it is. Course, by Kebab, I mean the European (Turkish) style Kebab, not American. The ones you get in little take-out Kebab booths that usually sell a lot of Kebab to drunk people going home from bars...
