Hi guys, I'm a new hacker here. I have been a lurker on this site for quite some time and has seen a lot of awesome stuff on this board. I look forward to sharing some stuff I have with you guys soon. However, I have one quick question. My game has the SMB3 soundtrack with SMB1 + 2 music. I saw a post here that shows the hex code to change the star music and that worked perfectly well. I was just to know if there's a way to change the music that plays during the Bowser Battle rather than hearing the underground track from Mario 2 and Mario 1's castle music. Also is there a way to change the credits music rather than hearing silence? I would greatly appreciate it if anyone knows. Thanks very much.

Wow. Looks great so far! Keep up the awesome work!! Can't wait for the final draft and the Block Tool add-ons! I also noticed that in slippery levels sometimes Mario pops out and you can't move him. I don't know if anyone picked that up, but I guess it's another bug that needs to be fixed. Still looking great tho! Keep it up!

Yeah, that would be nice. I know absolutely nothing on Hex editing. I just know that it's a whole bunch of offsets and coding. If anyone knows what offset the music pointers are located, I guess I could try to play with the numbers. Thanks for the info.

Yeah that would be awesome! I wouldn't mind that at all! Or at least be able to export the SPC's and import SPC's of your choice! I'm not crazy about editing music but I wouldn't mind putting a variety of SPC's from other games into Super Mario World.

I would check the BG scrolling options and make sure it is set to constant. Or maybe you can duplicate that room in wendy's castle and copy any work you did into the copied room. That's all I know...

Well after all the trouble of inserting these pipes into block tool I finally got them working after spending like an hour trying to fix them! Thanks MikeyK so much for these pipes! I really appreciate it!! Even with small bugs found it's still a great thing to have in a hack! Besides, no one is perfect anyway. Once again, thank you so much!

One question on SML2. How would the first level on the moon work out? As far as i remember the jumps in that level are higher than the other levels. Is there a way to edit the height of the jump just for that one level? Or will it just use the normal jumps?

Hey I don't know if anyone is having a similar problems i'm having. The pipes work perfectly however the game seems to slow down more often now. For example I'll have like two koopa troopas and two goombas on the same screen and the game would move really slow as if there were ten baddies on the screen. Could it be that I have too many custom blocks in my game from block tool? Is there any solution to this without removing the pipes? Is anyone having a similar problem? Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Snes9x can record into AVI but there are many formats to choose from. Does anyone know which is the best format to use that takes the smallest amount of space? Like I tried recording a 30 second clip and the filesize was like 30MB! Anyone know a decent quality that won't take up too much space? I would greatly appreciate it!! Thanks!

I have a quick question. I noticed in some hacks that when the Bob-omb goes off it plays the sound FX that Mario All Stars uses. I rather have that sound play in my hack instead of the original. How can I change that? Do I need the All Stars Music in there for it to work? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
