Mine is from a bigger picture, but I can't use that so I just used the head.

I really like dragons, and if you know me in irc, I will make that VERY apparent.

Yeah, Jesper, your server is kinda funky for me.

Sometimes it's fast, great, no problems
But other times it's slow and timeouty.

I went just now, and it took 21 seconds for the site to load. It DOES load, but it hangs on one image sometimes for a few seconds.

I'll do the ping test for your info: (elapsed time since the page load: about 4 minutes.)
Ping: wootest.net -- 32 bytes
Time: 135ms, 135ms, 136ms, 136ms
TTL: 111 (all four times)

Just for curiosity, what do you suppose is making your server slow (at times)?

Edit:
I'm in the USA if that modifies the expectation.

I see a few questionable items on that list. MAKE SURE you GOOGLE these questionable items in Google first, because although I'm a bit familiar with HijackThis, I am NOTHING like an expert.

I was wondering what was happening when I couldn't upload anything.

When and where did the pages start appearing?
I tried uploading something around 6:19 (board time) or so.

Edit: Well, we know when, but where? I'll need to do a scan, it might have been me.

I cannot find any spyware nor a keylogger, so it is likely to not be a problem with my machine. What I think we should do is when the server is back up and running, PM me here, and I'll get on aim and contact you. When we do this, you monitor the server for another BloodBR attack, and I'll upload something. If it happens again, then I'll do a deeper scan and use a different ftp program.

But if this were a problem with me, wouldn't the bloodbr pages appear in my folder, since that's what I was in when trying to upload?

Also, the ftp program wasn't able to upload the file at all. If this were me, it probably would've happened after I uploaded the file. The file was a png image, by the way.

Another thing, when this happened before, did you find where it was coming from? I suggest you disallow anonymous connections on your ftp server. I don't know if it was enabled or not, but ensure that it is disabled.

I apologize in advance if this turns out to be a problem on my end.

Well, I'm hoping all of this means that I didn't fark up wootest.

...WHO said I ruined wootest?!?

Seriously, I'd never intentionally ruin wootest in my life.

Well, if it's easier for you, definately go Windows. At least you'll be able to secure stuff. (Hopefully my account will still be there.)

People who hack like this must be compensating for something.

Good luck on all of this stuff. (I'm still hoping that it was just a coinsidence that it was suspiciously close to my account creation time. )

The FME-07, I've heard it at both octaves. I guess no one's completely sure what pitch it's supposed to be at.

Hey Disch, I have one suggestion.

Make it so that control panel doesn't pop up automatically (or you can make it a setting to not pop up auto), and instead, have there also be a way for you to click next and prev ON WINAMP to change songs.

The default volume for the FME-07 channels sounds like it should be at 100 instead of 255, but you can change that on your own.

Edit: Ooh!! I can slow the song down! You rule!!!

Edit 2: Actually, the FME-07 sounds more like 128 instead of 100 what I suggested.

Make the octave optional, because either one could be right, although since you had a very reliable source, it could be correct, but then there's some FCEU fans who will be like "WTF IT DUSNT SUND LIEK FCEU!!!!!!!" or something.

(Plus, I like listening to music in different pitches. )

Solitare, and Minesweeper. (When I play windows games, that is. )

I don't know how to play hearts or spider solitare.

I don't really play the pinball game that comes with it, because I play Visual Pinball instead. (Visual Pinball is a 3d pinball game, and you can create your own tables with it too. )

Minesweeper is very easy to play (but I'm terrible at it. )

The number on the tile indicates how many mines the tile is touching (diagonal counts too!!). Right click on the covered tiles you think are bombs (should mark a flag on it). Successfully mark all of the mines (and ONLY the mines) to win!

Don't worry, your layout looks fine to me.

What I do to keep the browsers from freaking out due to blank td's, I just put an & nbsp; in the td. That's a space, if you have a good browser.

Nice layout, but I've kept mine for like 3 years.

Posted on 06-17-04 04:25 AM, in Flash :S Link
I suggest using actionscript. I'm sorry as I am unable to help very much because my trial copy of Flash MX is expired.

Hmm...

An EASY way to do it, since it's just six images (and not like 20 or so. ) is to just have six variables, for the six images.

Next, in your action script, add a on event.enterframe (or something like that, I can't check, sorry) routine (since it will call the code repeatedly at the frame rate), and check for if each variable is 1 or 0.

Something like this:
if (variablepic1 == 0) {
pic1.opacity--
} else {
pic1.opacity++
}

And repeat for the remaining 5 variables. I don't know if the values will wrap around, or if they'll reset to 100 if it's above 100, or 0 if below 0, but if it does, you can probably figure out a way to fix it.

If you need the fade to go faster, you can do two things. Either increase the framerate, or change the pic1.opacity-- to something like pic1.opacity = pic1.opacity - 4 or something.

I hope this helps.

Hotmail and such e-mail directories have member listings, and all you need to do is slap an @hotmail.com and voila.

If you get an isp-provided e-mail, you usually will have no spam unless it's something you do to screw up.

I used to get like 6 spams a day, but I think there was a virus doing it, and it got cleaned out, because it just stopped suddenly. (or maybe it was that I spent too long in between my mail checks and it accumulated to 6 or so. )

If only there were a way to switch the e-mail client into a text-only mode, so you can see the tags and stuff.

Oh, and as for aol accounts, all the person needs to know is your screen name, and they can get you.

The programmer of the SPC700 emulator for the snes emulator just has the pitch playback formula or whatever off by a few cents. I've noticed that too with certain emulators, but never cared about it.

There isn't anything you can do about the pitch, except use a different emulator.

Not your fault.

And I agree with link cable support. NO$GMB had link support, and forgotten says it's impossible to do link cable support (same machine, that is. Not over the 'net, but that'd be pretty fun with four swords. ). Don't quote me on that, I may be wrong. And yes, I know that gameboy link != gba link.

Know what I want? Gameboy Camera support. Someone should rip a GBS of the music.

Another problem is some gba games in vba have a nasty crackling problem.

One more thing. I would rather they TAKE OUT the code that disables your screensaver.

Haha, just kidding.

If you REALLY want to do some serious 3d movie-ing, you'll probably be much happier with a programming language and some openGL or something.
