When I had spyware, I used HijackThis to tell me what was running and stuff.

You should download HijackThis, and scan. Note, it doesn't know what programs are bad and which are good, so you have to tell yourself. Anyway, scan, save the log, and copy paste it into a post here. Maybe SOMEONE here will know what shouldn't be there, and can tell you which programs to tick and delete.

But try downloading something and see that your download speeds have gone from 3kb/s to 300kb/s.

That's what I liked most about switching to cable!

It made n64 roms easier to download, I'll say!

But I got HUGE bubble bubblewrap in the UPS package that contained my Yamaha PSR-550. HUGE! We're talking bubbles the size of my fist! (of course, there were only 5 bubbles on that sheet. I should probably call it a strand. )

Okay, here's some of my schedules, and my comments:
k-6 (Elementary school)
Core subjectsAll are taught by one teacher.
ArtWe did painting, gluing, and stuff with paper.
PE (FUCK)Fuck PE class. I hated it since day 1. First off, I don't want to be an athelete when I grow up, yet that's how things are taught. Second, it doesn't matter if I'm falling down, vomiting, breathing extremely hard, the teacher doesn't CARE and makes you keep doing whatever it is, even though you physically can't. Don't get me started with FLE either.
Computer LabDid shit on Apple IIc computers, basic keyboarding, games, stuff like that. Instead of playing games, I fooled around in BASIC. This was my favorite of the rotation days.
Science LabEhh... this class was ok. Not my favorite, but not bad. At least we didn't do paperwork all the time, but the teacher was scary with his loud yelling voice. I was always scared to death whenever someone was deliberately fucking around, because I don't like being yelled at, ESPECIALLY if I wasn't the one fucking around.
RecessThis is what I miss most of all. A full 30 minutes of outside playtime. Swing sets, monkey bars, playing with your friends who aren't in your class, playing with your friends who are in your class, playing 'vollyball' with a kickball over the monkeybars, but I usually was found on the swing set. I'm too big for swings now. Why don't they make swings for 6 foot tall people?
LunchSo much shit happens here, I'm not going to discuss it.
GT Resource CenterYou have to be recommended and take an IQ test to get into this. I got in, and it was the most fun I ever had at school. All day, we did cool stuff. We made kites one day, we used flight simulators, we built a city, we played sim city 2000, thinking things 2, stuff like that. No assholes EVER got into the GT thing, HA! I miss this too.
7-8 (Middle school)
NoteIt should've been 7-9, but we got messed around with because they decided to move 6th over to middle school, and 9th to high school. Thank GOD I only had 2 years here. This school FUCKING SUCKED. Where the HELL do some of these idiots come from, and why the HELL do they end up here?
Social Studies / CivicsI'll be straight up honest here. I don't give a damn shit about government. At ALL. I never have, and I don't now. Government is fucked up. They hide stuff from us, and when they fuck up, they try to cover it, and what do they do to the people who don't believe? ...but I digress from the topic.
MathI failed a year of math, so I had to take Math 8 in 8th grade. Big deal. I got all As in Math 8, and Algebra 1.
ScienceUmm... Well, I did dissect a frog. Found a bug in its stomach. My 8th grade science teacher was CRAZY, which at least made her class a LOT less boring.
EnglishReading, speaking, verbs, words, what else?
PE (FUCK AGAIN)My grade level is pretty much jock-free, but you should've seen some of the kids (yes, I said kids) younger than us. I STILL hate PE. I hated FLE. I know more about my penis than I care about thanks to FLE. I don't care how to play basketball, I can't run worth shit (yet), can't hit a ball, don't CARE about the sports, and I'd rather not have a mob of angry 1337 after me every time I screw something up. GOD DAMN what a joke this class is.
LunchLoud obnoxiousness, cutting in line, 10 minutes to eat, I'm not going to discuss this.
9th grade (in high school)
Algebra IAs mentioned before, I got straight 100s accross my report card in this class. Easy class, really.
Earth ScienceWe learned about the earth. Ooh aah! Baka maka YATTA!! Also learned about topography, if that's the correct word/spelling/etc...
World History 1At least it's not government, so this class isn't so bad.
EnglishI had a cool teacher! Pretty nice. It was a strange class, but cool anyway. Englishy still.
Freshman SeminarRequired class for my grade level, but not for the freshmen this year. BIGGEST FUCKING WASTE OF TIME EVER. I could've been in Computer Science 1, but NO, I have to do THIS shit. We did nothing helpful in this class.
OrchestraFor the record, I've been taking orchestra since 5th grade. I hate how more people like the band more than orchestra.
Spanish 2I took Spanish 1 in 8th grade, so I got a head start to Spanish 2, which allows me this year (in 10th grade) to complete my foreign language requirement for my advance deploma a little early. By the way, in Spanish 1, I had a B average, Spanish 2, was B - C. Spanish 3 (10th grade) I have a C - D average, so I'm getting out after Spanish 3 before the grade gets any lower for Spanish 4.
PE (FUCKING FUCK FUCK)I STILL hate this class. Fucking joke. I'm serious. Who LIKES this class? It's full of fucktards and dumbshits. Holy crap, I've never seen so many wiggers at once!
LunchA little better, but still a lot of cutting. Occasionally, there would be a global "OHHHHHHHHHHHHH", which whenever one was started, NO ONE knew what everyone was "OHHHHHHH"ing about.
10th grade (this year. High school)

See, people who are influenced by video games to be violent are either fucking retards or are on heavy amounts of drugs.

I'm sick of how people blame video games for this shit. If a kid has retard problems and is affected by video games... why the hell do the parents keep buying these games?? The games have the ESRB rating on the front of the case, on the CD, in the book, in the advertizements, EVERYWHERE, so the parents should know what games the kid should be playing because chances are, the parents buy the games. It's not a question of a link with video games. It's an issue of ignorence, disregard, carelessness, and a heaping pile of BS.

Check this place out.

It helped me with making MY first nes rom.

In case you're interested, my rom loads a palette, puts a message in the nametable, puts a brick wall graphic thingy in the nametable, and puts a bunch of numbers in the nametable, colors the text white, colors the bricks red, blah blah blah, and all of that gets put on the screen. Wow!



I like having access to the PPU. I can turn on the left column clipping thing and it makes me feel all cool and important and stuff.

I use DASM for my assembler, because it's one of the... what... 2? assemblers that work in XP. DASM also does more than just 6502.

One more thing...
It's a major pain in the rear region to try to get the NES to do what you want.
