Fixed that path, that was a glitch, and I think that IPS still had the glitch in it. Fixed the koopas in lvl 2 And if you've played PM2, Petal Meadows itself doesn't really have a theme - but don't worry, next world will |

I seem to be having a problem when adding these sprites in my ghost house - the green gas bubble and the big boo. Whenever I get on the same screen, Mario and most other sprites vanish. Also with the big boo, all the small boos around it vanish. How can I fix this? Thanks | |||

They can't be incompatiable: a) Green gas bubble is in Vanilla Ghost House and Valley Ghost House. b) Big boo is in a ton of levels EDIT: I did that p_ac, the sprite mode for green gas bubbles is 0D: and that is my current sprite mode. Now Mario doesn't vanish, but the blue POW and boos I had do . . (edited by SoNotNormal on 07-26-05 04:08 PM) |

Yeah, but I mean basically ALL sprites besides Mario when EITHER of those two are on the screen vanish. I don't think that should happen, but i dunno, maybe theres a way I dont see . . a different sprite mode maybe . . | |||

Hey Franic, I tried your idea, it works great just start on whatever screen (I chose 5) then you walk along the bottom as it scrolls til you get to screen 0, then you have to go up and work along the top as it scrolls back. Great idea!! | |||

Hi guys, hope this isn't off topic, I mean, it IS general gaming. Anyway, in Paper Mario 2, what should my stats be, or what level should I be to fight Bonetail in the Pit of 100 Trials? Farthest I can make it is currently level 83, then I die, this is with mario at level 30, HP at 80, FP at 70, and BP at 30. SO what level or stats should I be at to get to and kill Bonetail? Back from vacation, yay, but I have a quick question - I'm tryign to make a switch palace type room, and I have all the tiles I need, except for three - three corner tiles, that should be the flipped image of this _| (those lines = black walls) I tried flipping it in an 8x8 editor, but it came out pretty screwed up? Is there anyway to fix this? Because I really don't want to use cement bricks to replace them. Thanks |

Is it possible to edit the end of the game animations? Like, when Mario is walking and all the eggs and the princess are following him? If not, is it possible to edit where is shows the cast of enemies? I am going to assume no for both, but want to clarify. | |||

In a few hacks I've seen, when the ON/OFF block is hit, it doesn't cause lines to change, or stuff to stop rising and falling, no. Instead, it makes blocks vanish and reappear. For example, there in an ON/OFF switch in front of brown blocks blocking your path. When you hit it, the blocks vanish, but if you were to hit it again, the blocks would come back. How do you do that? I know it has something to do with layer 2, but I can't get it. | |||

Hey, it's me again, and now I'm showin' off some screenies of my second world PLUS, I took your guys idea, and added my first level with ExGFX - which I've sure everyone will remember from a fan-favouite coughsupermariokartcoughcoughcough. *ahem* so anyway, here is world 2 of my hack. 2-1: Forest Chaos "Hidden platforms makes this level a doozy" "You need to find the spring to continue." "To get that P-Switch, you need to throw a shell." "Oh no! Prison! Once you escape you win - but can you escape??" 2-2: Central Boggly (note: there are MANY ways to go in this level - so I threw in a bit of everything) "Two from the ghost house section" One from the switch palace section - you need Yoshi to advance. "Two from the auto-scrolling-shell-kicking-bullet-bill mania section" "And three from the castle section. The last one is my personal favourite - you gotta get to the top with the key, but you need to use the thwomps . . . hmm . . ." And now, my first level with ExGFX . . 2-3 - Rainbow Road. (note: PaD's Tetris graphics) Look at all the pretty colours, as you weave your way through an endless maze of torture. And I even added the Rainbow Road music from SMK - my secret though just kidding - wish I could though. Anyway, here they are. I know they don't show much action, but it's impossible to get good action shots in this world - or else I'd be fumbling to survive and pressing Print Screen at the same time. Thanks Kei. Also, I noticed where you kick the shell to get the P Switch, that you can just get the shell from the turtle below. I have fixed what you said, the pipe problems, and will work on switch palace. Do you like the Rainbow Road though? EDIT: Don't worry, most of the platforms are completely noticable, some you can only see a bit of though - that part isn't EXTREMELY tough - just a bit (edited by SoNotNormal on 08-01-05 07:44 PM) |
