I just made a vertical level, and they are 2 screens wide. But I can only stay on the first screen - it won't let me move off the screen horizontally. How do I fix that? | |||

I'm looking for a tester or two . . or however many want to . . . to test the first world of my hack. They could tell me the difficulty, things that could be improved, things that are done well, glitches - anything I didn't notice. I'm a newbie, and most of you guys are advanced, so you all could spot stuff better than me. Anyone, I'll leave this thread, and if anyone wants to, I'll post the IPS - if not, then a mod can lock this thread. | |||

Alright, thank you, here is the link. Up to the first castle is done, I believe that is 8 levels total. There is one exit you cannot get because you need the yellow switch palace activated, which I have not made yet, but the rest is all ready. Let me know what you think, and stuff | |||

Hey, since we're on the topic . . I ripped graphics from SMAS, but where I get them, the colour on them is screwed up. It's all purple/green and garbled. How do I make the colour come out right? | |||

Screen 1: Looks nice, but maybe you could add a few more objects/sprites to the screen. Screen 2: Nicely done. Love that color of blue on the blocks Screen 3: Delfino Isle . . niiiiiice. Maybe add a few more levels or make your paths a bit shorter, and it would be great Screen 4: Nice job here, love the FG Screen 5: Nice, but what's with the pink coin? Is it a special item or a colour error? Screen 6: Ooh, looks tough All in all, this looks like a very good hack, and well worth a download when it's finished. |

After you beat a boss in the original, it would show a message "Mario has defeated soandso in castle #" but when I do it, it just lights up the path and destroys the castle more or less like a fortress - no boss message. How do I make the boss message appear? | |||

The Thousand-Year Pipe The intro and stuff will be modified later, but for now, everything I've done so far is in the patch. Oh hehe forgot to reread this thread before I PMed you thanks for trying it, going to hopefully finish world 2 within the next couple of weeks, but I don't think I'll release another IPS until I complete world 3 or 4 (and if you've played TTYD, thats Glitzville and Twilight Town ) Yeah, I couldn't find out what was wrong with the Big Boo, and I remember a small problem in the second level where the grey platform would vanish. WIll have to find some way to fix those. | |||

Wow . . this hack is looking great! I have to agree with you, that part in cola cavern looks challenging. Just fix up a few palette errors, and - why does the ghost hous near cranberry ocean have the #7 on it? And why is it a ghost house? Shouldn't it be a castle? Or are you being unique |
