I gotta go with V.J on this one. The Spinies get stuck there, and your obsession with spinning fire bars is insanity. And how is Luigi DUCKING under a breakable brick? Doesn't really make sense to me. One more thing - in the last screen, how are you supposed to get by there if you're not big? It's not bad, but it's not great either. Keep working on it, and fix it up a bit |

Like V.J said, the music is in the header. Though right now, I'm trying to find the data for custom music in the ROM, though it's not exactly a piece of cake What I recommend for music is just sticking with what they give you, and sooner or later, someone will find out how to change the tempo, pitch, or even the song itself... EggVine is hard. Don't give up. A lot of people have. If I can learn it, anybody can learn it. All I can say to you is, good luck, and it's awesome to see another YI hacker around. Your hack is decent, but it's full of minor graphical issues that need to be resolved ASAP, including the two-coloured pipes (don't put pipes on screen boundaries) the net at the beginning of the super koopa level (needs to be fixed) a lot in Up in the sky, and a few in the SMB style level. Also, if you were trying for the flagpost at the end of the SMB level, don't. I hate to be rude, but it doesn't look very good at all. If you don't want to use ExGFX, I suggest trying to make the flag look a bit better. Your level design is alright though, just minor glitches |

It's not the What you See is What you Get that's hard, it's just that some things need to be vertical to be horizontal, vice versa, and you basically need to figure everything out yourself. And most people give up because they can't find the right objects, tilesets, palettes, etc. | |||

I just noticed . .the third screenies background is actually glitched graphics. From the words of a wise hacker "You should never revert to glitched GFX"... But yeah, that's actually the Switch Palace BG using a different BG number, turning it to messed up GFX. If you think it looks fine, leave it, but it is glitched. |

New screenies The firebars suit the castle well, so I really like that level - but I still say you take them out of the cave levels, normal levels, etc. It's looking nice though, and even a tad bit difficult | |||

That's not LAVA though, it's flames But I get what you mean now, thanks for clarifying that with me. By the way, how many levels of that demo are done, I can't play it right now since I'm not home, but is it just Frozen Isle that's done? |
