| Can you take a screenie of your Mario Paths in the actual OV editor? Take a screenie of the green Mario paths, then post it here. It might have been something to do with the way you placed them. Check that. |

| More than a week, my friend. It may have taken me a week to do the levels, but it took be about 2 to actually get the hang of it - Also, only have 1 screen of 1-6, just started it, but hopefully it'll be finished by Monday. Yes, I haven't touched it for a week. Haven't done anything to it at all, but as soon as I came back, most of it was messed up. If this happens, I can't continue, becuase most of my levels in world 2 use ExGFX, and I'm not remaking a month's worth of time it took to make it in the first place  |

No, like I said, I have done nothing that involves SMW, LM, ExGFX, pancakes, or bowling pins within the last week. I've been too busy on EggVine, but I haven't even touched SMW. It's really odd, because like I said, it's only some of my ExGFX, like 45-50% of it. But it'll still wreck my hack if it doesn't get fixed, and that's why I'm desperate for help  |

| Thanks, glad you're interested. Don't worry though, it's not ALL platforming - just some of it I should have it up sometime in he week, then I can start on 1-7, which leads into a castle - which I hope will be my hardest level yet. |

| Does anyone know what the offset is for the level icons in Yoshi's Island? Like, how 1-1 is a picture of a shy guy, 1-2 is a chomp, 1-3 is the cave, 1-4 is Burt, etc. This would be much appreciated if anyone knew. Thanks |

| Hmm, so all I have to do is decompress the graphics, move them around to my liking, and then they'll just appear like that on the overworld? EDIT: The problem I'm having is the same one in the picture - can't type squat into the window without it closing. Any way to do this right? (edited by SoNotNormal on 08-29-05 10:15 AM) |

| Yeah, I tried opening it through a command prompt, but I can't, because Ycompress is in Documents and Settings, yet all the prompt will read is Documents. And everything else I've tried typing doesn't work. Bah, every time I go to open it, it says it's missing a .DLL file, but I have the DLL file right there in the same folder as it. File is MMSTDFMT. dll, but it's right in the folder with Yfront and Ycompress, so. . . yeah . . (edited by SoNotNormal on 08-29-05 10:33 AM) |

| Yeah, once again, when I double click on it, it just says "You need to have the file MMSTDFMT.dll installed on your hard drive" but it already is. Does Yfront just open Ycompress? Like, what exactly does it do? If I don't need it to run Ycompress, I can surely figure something out within the program. |

| Yeah, that problem I just fixed, but with one problem always comes another, and it can't read my ROM. I type in ycompress 0 Yoshi.smc ALLGFX.bin but it just says Unable to open ROM. ANyone ever encountered this problem before? BTW, the ROM is in the same folder as Ycompress, so there shouldn't be any problems there. |

| Yup. Made sure of all of those. Version 1.0 (use it in EggVine) Headered ROM Not "Read Only" And No other program had it open. I wonder what could be wrong. . . oh well, if I can't edit the graphics, it's not the end of the world - GoYo didn't and his turned out great. |

| That seems to be one of the most popular threads these days "Can someone help me make levels, graphics, sprites, BGs, games, etc." They say they only want help - but most of them will take all the credit for it and not even put your name in the credits. They know you helped them, but they don't seem to give a crap, as long as they have something to show off. But yeah, I've seen about 20 of these threads or more since I registered back at the beginning of july. Point made Setzer, and it was a good one |
