Sorry to make a separate thread for this, but I doubted anyone else would still be reading that thread, especially for an edit, and I figure this forum could use some new activity anyway so...

I've been playing Tales of Symphonia for awhile, and I've become stuck at the Coliseum in Meltokio. None of my characters seem to be able to solo it out alone. I read a walkthrough that suggested to use Zelos by healing intermittently, but that did not work very well for me so far. Does anyone have any suggestions, i.e. characters, equipment, etc? I've tried Lloyd, Presea, Regal, and Zelos. Lloyd is the only one who has lasted with any decency, and only when I equipped him with the defenser, the guardian symbol, and the+20 def gem (sapphire?) (I ended up with 27+ def, but around 850~ish attack), I can usually take out the duelist and the sorceress but I'm usually very much out of HP and die to the other duelist. Does anyone have any suggestions? So far I've just been giving up and going to fight the dragon in the Temple of Earth to level up, Lloyd is 59, Zelos is 57 and Presea is down at 55. Any suggestions? What should I do?

At any rate, I'm not entirely sure of what supernova05's point is. It seems he started by being critical of scientology, then he seemed to go on to endorsing Islam, and after that, he really just seems to be rambling, I guess.

Given that the forum had been closed before that point, he couldn't have merely placed something in a thread or post.

So far, I have evil eye, nebilim, fafnir, soul eater, and destroyer? (the kendama), I don't believe I have any others yet. I guess I'll consult a guide on where to find the rest. I really wanted to try to get through most of the game without using walkthroughs or anything else, but I guess it's too late for that.


EDIT: Hilariously, hours after I posted this message, I went home, and beat the whole game. D:

Cause Snifit won't kick everyone out unless you talk to one or two of the people standing in front of the chapel. Then, you go on the right side of the building and use the secret entrance. Then you gotta have synchronized timing to break down the doors. Knowing what you've done so far, you'll have trouble with that. Good luck.


I'm betting there is no glitch. You probably just didn't talk to anyone, but instead waited for someone to be kicked out. I have yet to find a glitched rom of SMRPG... ever.


Wrong. I did all of that and it still refused to work.
