It's great to finally hear the truth from someone who's really in charge. Yay Mouse! Thanks for answering questions that it seemed no one else would answer.

All we have in the house is kosher wine, and that's hard to get drunk off of. I drank it excessively once during the holidays. My grandmother told me it was non-alcoholic, which proved to not be entirely true. I wound up with one heck of a a banger of a headache, but was never disoriented.

As of right now, you've not peer'd out. There are 16 people in the channel, I just woke up, MonopolyMan is rambling as usual, last night we had a massive trivia battle (while I was trying to do some filing on my computer... ), really fun.

Originally posted by Elric I think part of the problem is that I had to abuse CSS and tables like crazy to get the layout to work right in the beginning. I'll find some type of resolution for this. And yes, even now, when I opened up IE, I could definitely see the problems (I couldn't before though with the first layout I had in this thread ). I don't use IE, and I wonder how many of the rest of the users on these forums do. I used to have Opera, but all I use right now is Firefox for Internet browsing. I don't want to have a layout though that gets blocked by others, so I'll try to find some kind of fix for this. |

Originally posted by Schwa I realize that writing is art, I just wasn't sure if it went here, and I didn't want to see his thread get closed. Overall, it's an okay introduction, sometimes your writing feels stiff, and I think some of the word choice is questionable. And yes, Tarale's right, more line breaks. Some examples: - the flesh of it's victims as though "its", not "it's" - I live, or maybe lived, I'm not sure, this just feels awkward. - government maintained it's hold Same mistake as before, "it's" is the same as "it is", not the possessive of it. - One day, a criminal I think "One day" may be unnecessary, I feel like it breaks the overall flow of your writing, honestly. - refused to give him a small portion of currency well, I realize what you're going for, but it doesn't feel like it fits with the rest of your writing, I'd try to rephrase it somehow, not really sure how though. - found "not guilty" If you're going to use it in quotes, a more impactful way to say this would be "innocent", i.e. He was tried and found to be "innocent", Do you see what I mean? It's just got a little more oomph. - The paragraph where you're describing the criminal and "Death Hand", I think you should re-arrange some of the sentences, it's good yes, but it seems off-balanced, you might even split the part where you mention the governments into a separate paragraph. Anyway, can't wait to see another chapter. Nice job overall, just remember some of the things I said above for your next chapter. Hope this helps |

BlueRobot, it's mostly a place with a few layouts for websites, but I learned a lot from their code. Mind you most of it... I ignored to make my layout on here. A List Apart, I always found this to be really informative and helpful. |

Honestly, I consider bumping when you're bringing a thread in from another page or from at least 15+ threads down. And at any rate, if you've got something important to contribute or something useful, I wouldn't be too concerned about bumping.

I've always felt that the body decomposes and the soul goes into a stasis, whereas your spirit will either remain at rest for a time with the soul, and eventually will no longer exist after the soul is restored, but the spirit can also be disturbed from rest, but I don't mean like 95% of the so-called ghosts that supposedly exist, I'm thinking of something else, it's difficult to explain really. :\
