I downloaded this the other day since Atma suggested it. Pretty kickass. I'm going to find more episodes, but seriously, I really liked what I saw in this and I've not heard any complaints from people I've asked who've also seen it. The opening theme is a little abrasive but that's no big deal, since I can just skip over it (but the visuals for it are cool so it's a hard choice, heh). I think my favourite part is where Takemono is attempting to get Morita to wake up, but it's no soap.  Edit: I'm now on episode 7, and frankly, this series is just magnificient. Hm... I know I commented earlier, but reading more recent responses leads to some other thoughts I had. Well, like I said, I usually just deal with whatever's up and move on, I don't really see the need to dwell on fear and nervousness. They're natural in some cases, but I mean, eh... it's a total waste of time to sit around being afraid and nervous over what is in most cases just nothing at all to worry over.  |

| It could be because you're listening to music that's off of the Queer Eye for the Straight Guy album. I just looked up the song incidentally, and discovered this, so I'm just suggesting it as a possibility! I think this is interesting given you are neither a queer or straight guy. Or are you? Hmm...if we're going to do the drama, might as well get something going. | That's actually pretty true. People will have sex regardless, which brings to question, what is the purpose of laws regarding consensual sex? If I understood correctly, they're to give legal basis for defense of minors who are sexually abused by older individuals, but couldn't that fall under rape and/or corruption of a minor instead? | |||

| I find it interesting that my grandfather who is part-Jewish is so obsessed with asking people where they are from. I realize he means little harm by asking, but I worry often when we're in public that he is misunderstood by the person he asks. To explain a little bit better, where he lives, it is predominantly whites and blacks, but when he comes to visit me, this area has a large mishmash of ethnic groups from nearly everywhere. =p (edited by Thayer on 09-17-05 11:35 PM) |
