I honestly feel after about the past six or so years in which I've been reading newspaper articles on dinosaurs that this article here (Guardian UK 'Don't Dumb Me Down') is amazingly dead on. I can't even begin to say how much I agree with it. Time and time again, I have read articles that demonstrate such an insanely wide disparity between the reporter's article and the original technical paper that the reporter was discussing. Has anyone else noticed this sort of thing? Does anyone feel this article is off?

Sigh, What is this world coming to? I mean. Would it hurt to actually try and attempt to use correct grammer?

I don't know since your grammar is not that fantastic, not to mention that you mispelled "grammar" as "grammer". ;D

Thayer Langer - Zafririm Holon (Israeli Liga Leumit)

Talk about your tiny, unknown teams. They'll just be happy to stay in the Leumit next season instead of being dropped to the amateur leagues. Only 45k is available for new players, but that's a lot at this level.

I'll be back... with a shofar horn to stick up your ass. omfg anti-semitism lololol

Sorry, twilight is really dying. The average number of users online is very telling (~7 apparently). Most of the people I know who are saying its dying are not even playing RO anymore (hell, I haven't played in nearly 2 months), so it's not like it's really a ploy to get others to play on their own server.

You've exaggerated a bit here. twilight's looking at an all time low for players online, from what I've heard, there's never been more than 10 or so people on-line at any given time for the past month or so (not counting GMs). That server has died.

Given what Ace has said in IRC from time to time, I don't think he'll really miss this place.

I'd say it's probably mostly stemming from the need to look cool to peers on the Internet for many of these people, and somehow, they feel that typing this way will make them LOL COOL POPULAR *YAY*! ~

It seriously wasn't that bad. I watched it the entire way through, and if people keep complaining about how Naruto's name is pronounced, then I'll just point back to what I posted earlier. I don't see anything wrong with how they're pronouncing it and it seems to fit fairly well within Japanese pronunciation.

It's fairly useless, especially with the way it is abused.

Look at Jeff and Katt's newbie threads, you can see a distinction between people who knew them previously and those who were just making 'postcount++' type replies.

For some time, I was having issues with insomnia, but those seemed to have resolved with time. Honestly, I'd just lay down and hope to fall asleep and usually I did, even if for just 30 minutes before I got up, it was still some bit of sleep.

Media isn't about spread of information, propaganda, ratings, blah blah blah.

Would you mind explaining your second paragraph further? It made little sense, I'm afraid.

I'm sitting here, laughing, trying to come up with a reason you had to edit that little blurb three times.

Don't laugh, I decided to be sensitive and I was merely retracting some things...

I would think it was bad spelling. What is with you and opposites?

My spelling is rarely flawed, SamuraiX. Be thankful, I cut away some of my writing in order to be kind. This kindness won't be repeated if you keep up this.

I'll put it very flatly. I'm fed up with this place, no less for Mr. Bush. Mandatory education for children when they're better working on farms. It'd save tons of oil powering those huge machines. No ban on public smoking. Most businesses don't allow it inside, but they simply hang out in front of the nearest gas station. Churches, religious television, etc. I'm a solid atheist, so it disgusts me. What am I to do?

Nice, it's fine for you to have your views, but apparently damn those others for being able to also have theirs. Stupid freedom for religions and speech, amirite or what? And I musn't forget, fuck America for free public schools, is that what you're saying? XD

My biggest complaint with scrolling layouts are those that do not provide anywhere near enough space in order to read what people are writing, consider SamuraiX's when he quotes someone, it's horrendous jumbled to try and read.

... okay, I read a manga I feel may have been intended for girls the other day. But honestly, it was fairly good anyway.

Meet Natsumi Kawashima, a homely fifth grader with a craving for curves of her own. One day, after eating a packet of mysterious pink nuts, her wish comes true and she is transformed into a beautiful, sexy woman! Now endowed with a mind for recess and a body for supermodel glitz and glamour, will Natsumi find happiness or heartbreak as a result of her newfound adulthood and sudden legion of fawning admirers?

That's the description from the TokyoPop Website. Has anyone else read this? It's not too bad to read, the art is not too bad (though sometimes it is a bit of fan-service ). I didn't buy it, but it's tempting, I may read more volumes in the store in some time.
