I could have, but I didn't. I could even go back up and delete the previous post, but then you'd look silly. =(

When illegal stuff is mentioned, just think of what I wrote...

"this is a den of evil and villainy! If you looked under the rug at the Sim-Battle Arena, you'd find all sorts of street stereoids :O If you looked deeply into the World Debate forum, you'd find corn liquor, and we all know General Discussion is just a loli-thon."

It's a horribly corrupt place and you should run away now before it corrupts you. =(

I find cleaning just okay, it's semi-essential and I don't mind doing it, but I can't say I really enjoy it much.=[

Death has never really been a bother for me, more concerned about family members and if they died... then again, could be because no one close in our family has really died, just distant relatives that I didn't attend the funeral for.

And, well. I think we have been through more rough times all over the world. We just know much more about it than for... fifty years ago. It's not even world wars now.

I agree, especially in terms of natural disasters, we're just a far more connected world now than we were over the years (especially from a century back)...

Consider if you lived on a remote island in the Pacific that somehow for the majority of time that it was uninhabited never had any really major major natural disasters and then one day someone came from civilization and you were suddenly introduced to it in all of its glory, i.e. installation of the Internet, TV, etc. etc. and you became more aware of what was going on, you may well think it's the end of the world, simply because before this point, you weren't aware of all the things going on. The world has almost always been a screwed up crazy place... hehe.

Regretably, I've not played either, and while I think it's neat that Guild Wars has a one time fee more or less, I've had more friends who ended up going to WoW free servers instead of sticking to GW, even after plunking their cash into it. =\

Good luck, I'd say if you're positive you can handle it, go for it. I'd imagine they'd be more understanding to your school situation and whatnot, unlike my last job as a cashier, where it was like they'd ask you to work a little bit later one night, then the next night, then the next night, sure you got more money but you end up being deadshit worn out, and there's no time for rest in between.=\ So if they'll be understanding of school and stuff, I'd totally go for it, but I figure they would considering the type of job, and you have the bonus that your dad is working for the same company, right? So it's not like you against the machine.

1. Grudging and petty in giving or spending.
2. Meanly small; scanty or meager: left the waiter a niggardly tip.

I remember last year in school, people were being idiots when they first saw the vocab list and freaking out over it before they knew what it meant. >/

Because science is full of people out there striving to work on this problem. Who are 'the scientists'? You realize that scientists aren't a giant collection of all-knowing researchers who switch working from crisis to crisis to solve problems, right? ._.

Actually, I made this topic, I am not bothered at all at the turn it is taken, Colleen is largely right as to the purpose of this topic, and again, I do not mind the course it has taken down, so please, carry on.

Demanding proof isn't necessarily a poor tactic, in this case, it may be essential to the argument at hand. I've not read far enough in yet, still re-reading over the posts. Incidentally, Ziff is right about debating ("civilized form of arguing"). I do not yet see any case where this discussion has become a heated argument, so far I haven't seen anyone delve into the personal against someone, and it seems fine to me, so since it is the thread I made and I don't mind the turn it has taken at all, please continue your discussion, as I said before.=o
